you guys talking about excuses but you can't even read Neilsen Ratings right. You do not even know what you're looking at.

The shows not going anywhere good or bad so at the very least you could idk read

The goalposts for what's good gets moved every season so of course the show is fine. When it's getting 200k next year everyone will be like "well it got .04 in the demos that mattered and was in the top 100 at #95!"

I laughed like Drake in your avatar...not #95!!

It has to be moved based on the fall of cable in general--just being honest.   Doesn't mean they couldn't do a much better job

Exactly!  The excuses will never end.

The ratings dropped drastically in such a short period of time but it's still good for mtv... but mtv has like 3 shows in its entire roster besides ridiculousness so I guess for mtv is decent as they don't have much other shows.

the goalpost has never moved. the site literally ranks it for you. there's not much effort involved

For MTV standards this is fine. The network has lost it's identity and creativity so much. However, I hope the ratings trend up. We actually have a great rookie class that the show can build on if production doesn't drop the ball next season. The stupid spy theme is gone. If they take notes from Bravo and their past success to realize drama and scandal sells this show can be saved. No idea why they think we want a family friend show with some light strategic drama. We want drunken fights. Nurys and Ravyn delivered some drama and in a 90 minute episode it was edited out WHY? That is WHAT WE WANT!

the networks look at different metrics to determine how successful their shows are of course the Neilson ratings aren't the only factor but it's a good measure for fans to look at and speculate with

honestly if the show had more house dynamic drama and less tired veterans then it would be more enjoyable--if it ain't broke don't try to fix it

So they are editing out all the drama but still making the episodes an hour and a half long lol what's the point

Still my thing has always been so they only air the newest episode once on tv and then never again throughout the week... it's like you can't cut out a few hours of the 949484484884848484 hours of ridiculousness for a couple more challenge episodes especially since it's still your highest watched show but you treat it like shit.

no i mean the actual site that these numbers you all talk about comes from literally ranks the shows.

Theres also an About Page on the very site to inform people about what the words mean. It straight up defines what the word "rating" even means.

may as well go back to the 30 minute episodes if all the drama is being edited out.

If you know all of this then you have too much time on your hands.

it took 2 seconds, and i personally don't like talking about "ratings" when i don't even know the definition of the word.

you choose to comment on numbers and then send an insult when i supply you with the education needed to comment on said numbers. The education system fails once again

This is what the education system is teaching?  News to me.

I must've been absent the day Nielsen Ratings was covered, my bad.

PREACH.

It's what YOU want

Check the top rated shows on cable. They have drama. Look at the most trending shows on streaming platforms...they have drama and scandal. The target demo for the show has a short attention span. 90 minutes of boring challenges and strategy talk isn't entertaining or captivating to them. So no, the masses want drama, not just me.

You said WE which isn't true

Not arguing about 90 minutes but pointless boring drama being added doesn't solve the issues other

KVM, you are old and out of the demo. Your opinion is pointless.

no it's teaching you to read. you choose not to. your fault not the education system my bad

Fair lol

Episode 4: 459k viewers, #8 on cable for the night (#2 outside of sports/the news), strong in the demos

Yeah its doing fine especially considering it's on constantly because of the spinoffs

How can you tell demos are good? I get confused with that

Kinda a moderate drop from the 490k from last week. But I guess as long as it doesnt go in the 300's. Lets see if an episode that isnt the finale can break 500k

Also solid considering the world series was on. And yes tht does hurt it. There was a pretty decent size jump last week when no baseball playoffs were on
