Derrick was one of my favorite rookies riding around the golf cart drunk and being kicked off on BOTS 2 unfairly, he got boring by XXX but what else was he supposed to do?
brad is ok, but we've seen him already do nothing on 3 newer seasons. unless tori is on too not sure why he's on this.
Not a Brad fan.....and a huge Darrell fan.....but again.....Brad did more on his return than Darrel has done on his 3 most recent
so Brad beat Zach and Bananas in physical eliminations and beat Wes and Camila in a 5 mile weighted mini final?
Hes obviously referring to the entertainment aspect.
Personally I dont find either of them or Derrick to be boring. Derrick was my favorite part of dirty 30, its nice to have people to root for. I dont find most of the newbies as likeable.
ok no shade cause everyone has their different tastes I guess, but how in the world was Derrick your favorite part of dirty 30? He essentially could've left at any point in the season and I wouldn't have noticed, he was at Kaycee level of wallpaper if not worse
Love Brad so I'd want him on this. He was always entertaining to me.
Derrick is perfect for this tbh. They're not gonna waste a spot on the main show on him so this is the next best thing.
I can see Derrick trying really hard here though because you know he wants back on the main shows.
Mark, Derrick, and Brad are all so desperate to get back on the main show I feel like they're going to be pulling a Paulie/Fessy and dialing up fake personas. Maybe not so much Brad as he was always naturally a mess lol

im sure this is rigged for mark or marks team to win
he created the show, developed the format, and probably has some say in the cast id guess?

I never thought we'd see him back. I was most excited to see him coming into the season and enjoyed watching him compete well throughout the season. Him taking out Johnny was awesome. He proved he's still got it.
I love my crazies, generally speaking the more on the cast, the better, but at the end of the day I like to see the good guys win more then anything else. Lando hits those same note for me and its why he's my #1, but D is up there as well. A shame he lost in the final, would've been right up there with FM 2 for me.
I'm not even that old I just tend to find the 'OG's more endearing as people.
I would trade Brad and Derrick for guys like Landon and Alton, easily though.
Well, yeah,
alton had one of the saddest exits in challenge histroy, no need to see him again
lol huh? he is def needed again
IKR? So many legends have left this series on low notes; Coral, V, Tina, Katie, Trishelle. I don't get the whole "what have you done for me lately" perspective. A legend is a legend is a legend. Alton is a legend, he is always welcome.

Wasn't it Brad's decision to not be on the regular season? I remember him making a big post about it. This may be for nostalgia purposes for him, I don't think he actually wants to be back for good.

That's called I wasn't cast and trying to save face. We have seen that Brad likes to rewrite the narrative and omit truths.

You really don't think he wants to be on the show again especially given the mess his life is? I don't believe that for a second.

I call this "it's his story to tell". Productions not gonna ever tell us they stopped calling a castmember (unless its a Dee situation) so they have the chance to tell fans whatever they want to save face like a previous post said. Bravo is known for this with their housewives. So many come out and say they are done with the show but that's because the show was done with them.
Why does a lot of cast members dislike Beth back when they were doing this shows? She seems like a cool lady to work with atleast from a production standpoint

Apparently she did some shady things behind the scenes. Then I think it just became the cool thing to do to not like her and Beth played into the villain role.

She knew she was on tv and she wanted the villain edit. She did an amazing job and didn't really care who she pissed off, but she never really got mean in the "trashy" way. Honestly she never even got "mean", she was just someone who couldn't be trusted and saw the tv aspect of things better.

There are a lot of answers to this. Shady business dealings, shameless flirting with clearly disinterested male cast mates, shameless self-promotion, and has a reputation for being one of the biggest challenge gossips, like Jemmye level. She also fights dirty and is unbothered with airing out people's dirty laundry; First person to mention that Aneesa was a stripper, that V & Rachel were a couple, sex in the house, arrests, who has a drinking problem etc.

It started because her and Norman Korpi had a huge falling out over an business venture. Then Beth kept playing "her role" and the other people that wanted camera time were bothered by it. Beth played the villain too well. I'm sure production loves her but Beth was never really worried about making friends. She wanted to be an actress and this was her role of a lifetime.
Kind of like how people never trust Julie after she started taking college speaking gigs at a cheaper price than everyone else.

She accurately called Diem fake and called her out for hooking up with CT on the show. Beth was just honest and, truthfully, if you're on one of these shows you should expect all of that to get out. But, yeah, people weren't going to like her for that.
I also remember Lori's blog from back in the day discussing each BOTS episode and why Beth was eliminated so early. She really rubbed people the wrong way, was really rude to Ruthie, and she actually called Anne the C word after she was eliminated. And this is coming from dear sweet Lori of all people.

Oh it turned her into a very effective character don't get me wrong, just pointing out that she was genuinly disliked by the majority of her casts. They were not playing along for the sake of helping her.

Right, we're on the same page--like John would hate her because she would have told everyone every time he cheated on his girl
I do remember her getting really low though, I remember her telling Blair on the aftersnow that Abram was gay and Coral was his beard and that he was only into Coral because she was masculine. Beth is a legend and deserves a spot, but all the same the woman makes my skin crawl.

There were definitely a lot of rumors about Abram (shane on The Inferno) back in the day--Coral too. Hell, Veronica said most of the cast was "literally and figuratively" hiding in closets. Who knows

Got it. I definitely agree with Landon. He was never really in drama but I found him super likable and endearing and always rooted for him. I can't say I've ever felt that way about Derrick especially when he turned into a JEK minion and after his podcast, but again, to each their own.
Derrick is so boring even on his little podcast
