I don't plan on doing pairings for each episode, as I don't care enough about the show to do that. I know that if I do it once, my Twitter and Reddit users will expect me to continue, and they will call me names if I do it once & then not for the rest.
Having them pick partners would be entertaining watching people Aneesa get butthurt over nobody wanting to work with them. It gives tension and strategy to fill up these long, boring episodes but that would bring entertainment and strategy so instead we'll get a random rigging.

I'm a veteran at this game and hurts to not be choosen over and over just because I've lost 22 seasons in a row. I want to be appreciated and valued for my hardwork in the off-season and I just don't understand why everyone wants to be partnered with Michaela, Dee, and Leka but not me! It hurts, it just really hurts.
