They keep 2-3 players "exiled" from everyone else, except for the Redemption Island "duels" where some of the people still in the game go and watch. Once a person is voted out of the game, they show up in the middle of night to surprise the people already on redemption.
Each Duel two people stay and one goes home for good. Then the final duel with 3-4 people happens and the winner returns to the actual game. More than one person can return from Redemption, they could return one player half way through the game then another a little farther down the road.
I'm not sure why people are getting excited over the exile. Sure Marie has a chance to come back but so does Cory. And if Bananas gets eliminated he gets another chance again. I like Marie but she aint worth that much. Hopefully its just post-production.

Maybe it was just individual from the start and 10 AYTO was just a coincidence. MTV could be skeptical about the Real World's future have just told production you need to have 10 AYTO on the cast to give them a bigger prescense and better shot of getting far.

ok but what I'm saying is at the start of filming there likely was NOT 10 AYTO. It was 9. When Briana got there it made 10, but she probably showed up after Simone left.
When you are gunned by half house last season you will go to seek help from person who has armada in front of him and some of her friends/allies are on his side.
