I understand they wanted this theme but if all the people who bring entertainment are declining or can't get Bloodlines then it would be have been smart to switch the theme. I guess we'll have to put our hope in the Bloodlines there being entertaining.
For them, anything "smart" is the hard part.
Then when the show flops they blame the viewers for not being intersted like they did when they started ******* up with The Real World by casting models and people the everyday person couldn't relate to.
Which proves my point. They are NOT prioritizing new RW seasons in terms of casting.
Did it ever occur to you that maybe some of them declined to do this season or didn't have a bloodline to do this season with? Maybe that's why they don't have a whole lot of people from the newer seasons?
They asked Sylvia, Violetta, Averey, Anastasia, Nia, Joi, and Madison decided not to use them so it's Bunim Murray's fault.
Look at Pinkrose's post. Madison declined, Sylvia/Violetta both didn't have any bloodlines available, Anastasia is done so of course she's not going to be on. I guess something came up with Nia so none of that is BMP's fault. Not sure about Avery and Joi but I'm willling to bet that they either declined or didn't have a bloodline willing to go. So once again..not BMP's fault.
Who is in charge of coming up with the theme?
No clue(my guess is someone at MTV or BMP obviously but not sure who exactly) but whoever it is needs to do better than this.
A number of parties are responsible. Before MTV ****** with the original theme that was pitched to them, we were in for a star-studded cast unlike anything we've ever seen. However, that version of what is now referred to as Bloodlines was scrapped because it heavily favored Old School over the regulars.

SMFH. Only BET comes anywhere close to MTV's level in terms of self-sabotage.
It seems that anything that could be smart and help this show they don't do and then do the opposite. I really don't get it.

I think in that case it was justified considering they probably wouldn't be able to get a whole lot of old-schoolers.

My Issue is a lot of people declined because of the theme , So a lot of people will Be declining in the future because there uncomfortable with living with the Bloodlines , it's a snow ball effect in the making.

But I wonder what the original theme was though.
I think it depends on whatever the original theme was (which I believe was significant others/spouses/boy & girlfriends but i'm not sure).
AYTO will never replace RW on the show because if you noticed production is going from season to season meaning w.e current season of AYTO is out is the only season they will recruit from. At this point they have 14 Bloodlines , 6 AYTO , 2 FM , 1 Spring Break and Atleast 15 seasons of RW to cast from so I doubt they will ever erase RW from the show.
But how many people have they been actually using from those 15 seasons of The Real World?

No. It was still Alumni and Loved Ones. But instead of Regulars/New School and their cousins, it was primarily Old School and their Significant Others.

Oh yeah! I was told in private about that theme. That would've been interesting to see and I would've been all for it.
I would honestly not be interested in an old school/loved ones. I love seeing regulars, old school idk, I just can't really connect with them really. I like the current theme and although the cast is not as great as it should be, the theme makes up for it. I don't care whose on, the fact that we are getting to see our favs (Aneesa, Camila, Cara Maria, Leroy, Cohutta) go against their family members is pretty rad. I think this season will be a huge surprise to many and it has the potential (marketable) to lift the ratings.
I'm really surprised Madison declined and was okay with Tony going considering he isn't the most trustworthy bf..
I honestly don't think Tony would do anything or is that bad. Not that I condone his behavior/actions but he wasn't dating Madison in the beginning of Skeletons. He wasn't currently in a relationship at all so him hooking up with other people or exes wasn't that terrible. You see in several seasons someone hook up with a roommate and then hookup with someone else. Plus, Madison and him are together now and from social media their relationship seems real to me. I can't see him going on TV and destroying that.

Either that, or it will destroy it. I'm hoping for the former. I definitely can't see this being an average season. I think it will either be one of the greatests or the worst.

They dropped the ball casting San Diego 2 after Vegas 2, and it went downhill from there....

I actually think that Cory can win this season. Unless an elimination involves puzzles, he's going to be tough to take out.
I'm so hoping Cory dominates!!!
I am also hoping for a great showing from Cory. This show needs a new star male to push the show away from Bananas. Hopefully he does well and gets invited back next season as well
LOL I dont see Cory and Thomas going along with anything Bananas and company tell them. Hopefully they can get the other newbies to go against the vets
If its teams why would cory want to get the person on his team that has won 5 times out . Thats kinda stupid , i mean i would rather have a person thats actually won alot of times opposed to a team that has no winners . Except cammilla shes won , but thats only really because bananas.

Exactly!

But seriously I want to see him do well more so than anyone else really.

My thoughts exactly. If Corys smart, he will get some bloodlines and Dario under his wing to get bananas out. I want new winners!
