these episodes did feel rushed, and like someone else said "low energy". they are putting too many eggs in Wes basket, so anytime a scene doesnt have something to do with him it feels underwhelming.
So am I the only one that really liked the episodes? They legit had an old school feel. Focus on who is going into the elimination, mission, focus in on who is going into elimination, elimination. The main show is too long. This could be a little longer but it's not rushed. We even got a lot of them having fun
Gamer said feel like Wes & Kailah changed the way cast members of All Stars will play in the future (in a good way). Their impact! Before the cast went in like it was a reunion - they went in there and started playing from the jump!

You are spot on here. I thought it was great. Wach episode could have used 8-10 more minutes of relationship and house storyline but Paraflop has yet to realize that it's a streaming network with no time constraints so other than that it was really good.

I loved the episodes, I thought they were super fun, and I don't mind the casting choices as much as others. And yes I don't understand why it needs to be exactly 45 minutes
This mentality I don't get...So Mark shouldn't be voted in because he pitched a show? This is why they should not put him on a cast it's conflict of interest

EXACTLY! He doesn't just get immunity cause he campaigned for this. Kailah did the lord's work getting him in and we stan her for it! Too bad LT couldn't finish the mission.
This is SPOT ON. TJ is actually enjoyable on this and y'all know I'm his number one hater. He is TJ the host and has fun with it. His "handler"/showrunner cheesy persona they make him do on the trash version is awful. He can't pull it off and it's just corny and annoying. He's a great decent host on All-Stars though! I hope they recognize what works on here and apply it to the trash mtv version.
I liked this it reminds me all the times we would hope for wild returns like Tina, Veronica (before D30), Brad and others to mix it up with the Jordan's and Kailahs and now we're actually getting it plus more

I only watched a couple of minutes of the episodes, but from what I saw, it seems like no one tweeting about this recognizes that half of the authority went in with 0 intention of voting in Nehemiah or Syrus to honor LT's request, and then somehow they got strongarmed into only voting between those 2 and Mark. They should have just told Kailah to **** off and did what they wanted to do honestly.

did gamer miss all of S2?!?! Wtf
Exactly. Some cutthroat moves were made. But I guess since it was Casey doing them and not Wes and Kailah (recency bias) then it doesn't get acknowledged?
I finally got around to watching episode 2 and I liked it better than the premiere... I'm thinking I need to rewatch the premiere though... might not have been as open to it bc of my own personal biases.
Having said that, though, I still don't like Sylvia or Kailah. Sylvia was better for me on this episode, but Kailah continues to annoy me.
Other thoughts:
WTF is up with Jordan's hair.
Wes makes this show into something else than the previous two incarnations.
I actually liked Melinda for the first time ever during episode 2.
The Jonna and Tina beef was interesting - makes me think back to their cordial convo back on the AS2 premeire.
The music isn't as good as the previous seasons
I like me some Roni, never seen her before.
Mark getting to talk to his momma and her giving him a positive update was heartwarming. I'm glad they included this because ever since Mark mentioned his mother was battling stage four cancer, I've been wondering how her health was faring.
MJ needs to stop making that weird birdcall noise thing that he does.
I felt bad to see LT out so early, but I'm also glad Mark won.
Derrick isn't annoying me as much as he has in the past; hopefully this season he and Nehemiah tone down their BS rivalry.
Definitely loved Wes not being able to swing properly.
Tina's DQ was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on these shows.
I agree that Wes makes this show into something the previous two incarnations weren't. Think that means All Stars will now suck. Unpopular opinion I'm sure but he made the Challenge different as well with his debut season of Fresh Meat. I hated that season and the show was never the same again. It just kept sucking more and we are where we are today where it is unwatchable. All Stars had two good seasons before the likes of Wes infected it but I think this is the beginning of the end. Production is trying to make it too much like the main show which isn't needed. It was a good alternative to the main show. Now that that seems to be done there's really no point.
I dont agree that Wes changed the main show but everything else is agreeable imo. If they gonna continue to bring younger talent ill get more uninterested because the main show is literally right there.
I'm scared that you, me and PR agree on something

While I get Veronica, seemed like everyone "saved" a person which was a dumb idea anyway
should've just had all 6 vote for who they wanted and most votes go in. I bet Wes goes in that scenario
this format is way too "kumbaya"

I think that's pretty dumb on her part
might be but i like the chaos

Yeah, sadly, you might be right. If this is the path this series is headed down, maybe I don't want there to be an AS4, lol.

If think the series would be fine, but we really don't need CT, Bananas, & Wes to start ruining it
