There has been 46 seasons of Survivor, mnore than 600 castmembers and I find it amazing how, out of all of this people, some person has stated like 7 times in a 12page post that he wants Ali Elliott on. And not in a fun "bring back Tracy Candela" kind of way, no. He's serious.
Mind blowing
LOL I have her ranked as my #7 female prospect. There's almost no way that 5, let alone 7, Survivor women debut on the show at the same time. However, Oldschooler and Hauserman both have her in their prospective rookies list. Hausey is adamant she should be higher.
First of all, ignore the first 30ish seasons of Survivor because they're all over 10 years old and the youngest of those casts are in their late 30's. Were not getting anyone from that far back/that old as rookie debuts.
Then the criteria to get cast on this show are:
1.) Young - More like Under 35, bonus points if Under 30 for potential franchise longevity.
2.) Attractive
3.) Legitimately athletic - won't embarrass themselves in Challenges.
Everything after that (went deep/won their season, causes drama, hookup potential, etc.) is cherries on top.
If you take those three criteria and apply it to Survivor Seasons 32 through 46, you get a list of about 25 men and 25 women that haven't debuted yet.
50 people is a decent but not amazing feeder pool when you factor in that The Challenge regularly churns through around 10 rookies a season and usually only retains 2 or 3.
So, then you look at the "cream of the crop". I think there are some interchangeables but I think I got at least 12 to 15 of the Top 20. I don't see many other people throwing out lists!
My take is... What does The Challenge win with casting people like Alli?
Yes, she's cute. But she wasn't specially athletic, they were like 4/5 girls better that her in her season at least, so it's not like she's going to be a stand-out competitor. She isn't confrontational, so no drama from her. She isn't flirty either, so no hook-pus. Not a funny or spicy person, so no narration or iconic confessionals from her. Not a great strategyst either, literally got clowned premerge by a nerd in a turtleneck.....
She's just a beautiful and nice 30 y/o women that got 12 minutes of TV six years ago, like there are thousands in any reality show. I swear people in like 5 years are going to start asking for people like J.Maya and Helen Li.
All I can say is Ali is very similar to Desi personality wise (hell they were on the same season and are good friends) and Desi was a very sweet and cute Challenge character.
In a new interview TJ said he wants Kenny back... ugh
im surprised they didn't attempt to quietly bring him back in one of the allstars as that's what they did for a few problematic people to change their image and then bring them back to the main show
The two people i definitely want on would have to be Q and dee. Austin kind of also if i had to choose a 3rd
also i'm surprised xander hasn't even debuted on the cbs challenge as he was wildly popular
I feel like Xander's opportunity was USA1. No one cares about him anymore.
oh jesus christ you have ******* justine who was a random second boot in a list of priorities from Survivor and then have the nerve to say that no one cares about one of the most "aclaimed" contestants for the new era??
I like Xander but absolutely no one has him on fancasts for the Season 50 returnees.
Too many white guy options for Xander to take one of the 5 spots on Survivor 50. His only chance to come back would have been if 46 was a fans vs favourites or something like that
damn how the mighty have fallen as i remember them rioting on social media when xander lost to erika and got 0 votes to win and now he's not even a lock on survivor 50. But yeah only 10 male spots so probably not maybe if he debuted in one of the later seasons of the 40's for recency bias
i saw a comment where someone said if they brought nia back after what she did why can't kenny?
Wasnt that was one of the terms of the settlement?
They just have to find someone willing go insure them if Kenny is there...and a price that makes it worth it. He won't be back. Nia isn't on that level.
Kenny isn't moving the needle one bit so idk why they would even consider it but wouldn't put it past them. We know how forgiving they can be for their golden boys.

I wish we could hear the truth on what happened that night.
I think it happened, but sadly Ruins was such a disaster, production were primarily at fault for allowing Tonya there, she was clearly in a bad way and that was used for entertainment. Kenny and Evan are scum.
I imagine thats why it was all paid off and swept under the rug so it wouldn't be taken further agaisnt production. My theory anyway.
I also heard Susie's husband was one of the cameramen, or on production, so she adamantly denies it as he was complicit and saw it happen or didn't stop it I guess?

I've always believed Tonya but the more and more i hear stories and peep how MTV treats those guys i'm starting to believe that Kenny might not be as involved as one would believe.

What do you mean by that? As in he was a scape goat..?
i'm kind of surprised tonya only named evan and kenny and not bananas. being that he pulled someone's top off and then he allegedly sexually ***aulted someone on another mtv show and to save his *** once again didn't ever air the episode
I feel like Kenny was probably a Ray Lewis situation. He was there and let it happen but might not have done it himself. Still horrible don't get me wrong.
So what we're all alluding to is that we all think Evan did this? It's honestly a very grey area with no real evidence, but the fact that this got settled in court and people were paid off makes me think shit did go down. What exactly went down, who knows. But a toothbrush in someone's private parts is not even funny to me, like who thought this was a good joke.

Only one person there that night says anything happened which includes Tonya who doesn't know. The most logical conclusion is nothing happen. MTV was always going to settle and Evan/Kenny are just as much victims as Tonya who wrongly believes this happened. It'd a sad situation all around created by production allowing Tonya to be there.
Let's be real. Sarah would be throwing MTV under the bus in a heartbeat if there was anything.
The most logical conclusion to a sexual assault case that went to court is most certainly not "nothing happened". The most logical conclusion is something happened that went to far, but there isn't enough information to criminally charge. Evan and Kenny are not victims.
I def think it happened and can see them both cracking up doing it because that is def frat boy mentality and something other frat boys would do in college. At the time they probably didn't even think it was sexual assault or a big deal knowing them and the way they treated women on these shows.

yeah those two were pulling all kinds of annoying pranks on these shows they probably thought it was just a joke to do that to someone sadly

Statistically that isn't true and it was a civil case not criminal which makes it even less true

bring back dee!
They didn't actually do anything but that's okay

Q and Venus should be paired for a rivals season. Idc if they had one those two would provide.

I would love a big team of just messy Survivor players, obvious those two would be included. It would be fantastic.

Bringing Kenny back is a disgrace, a horrible mistake, and terrible for the integrity of the show. So I fully expect him back.

She considers Kenny family. She wouldn't throw him under the bus for the sake of trashing mtv.
Statistically that isn't true and it was a civil case not criminal which makes it even less true
She doesn't have to throw Kenny under the bus in this scenario
Statistically what isn't true?
Just ignore KVM. Someone with his emotional capacity shouldn't be allowed to comment on something like this
