Morgan wasn't a bad choice, I think had she lasted longer she could have been a Tori type where casuals really like her. The Nolans & Zahida were pretty bad choices and Shaleen is probably the worst casting decision ever, I wish they would have dropped those 4 and introduced Survivor and/or BBCan instead that season

I don't think Zahida was a bad choice, she was psycho on ex on the beach, she didn't bring that energy to The Challenge. Same as Nicole Bass. Seeing that they clearly wanted some sibling dinamyc in WOTW1 (They tried the Calafiores from BB and Alex & Charlotte Caniggia made pretty deep into casting before dropping), they probably tried having Shaleen and her sister (Topaz from BBCAN1).

Probably not, if you swapped out Topaz for Shaleen Topaz is probably still the worst rookie on that cast. Neither of them made sense, they probably just needed someone from Canada to do it basically for free and Shaleen probably has a good agent
I thought when San Deigo and X-Treme were added that was a great rookie era. Robin & Brad were excellent on Sexes 2 and really politics is the only reason she didn't make it past the final six imo, Ibis made it far, and Angela created a lot of drama on Sexes 2 - then Derrick, Kina, Jodi, and Jillian became top competitors during their initial seasons as well (Sexes 2 not being the best for Kina and Derrick). Also Jamie was a one hit wonder, Randy was decent on his seasons.
The only people who really didn't do much that appeared on the Challenge from those two seasons were Cameron (super fun, I love her, but as Robin said the Challenge may not have been for her.), Danny (outside of the random fight with Jodi on Gauntlet 2, rest in peace) & Jacquese who got a nice plane ride back and forth to New Mexico.

Xtreme had one of the best set of challengers, the ones you listed were enough to give them the edge, and even Ibis became a champion and wasn't awful.

I think I'ma go with Psy and say Battle of the Sexes 2. Mainly the San Diego/X-Treme peeps that made their grand entrance to the show there. They would go on to Impact the show in a good way unlike some of the other groups.
