Hmm I really don't think that might happen, Super Sweet 16 already had something similar to this. O.O Right now Real World is competing with the BGC and Jersey Shore, I doubt they will have another DC like season. But 3rd world Cambodia does seems interesting.
I don't think TRW is competing with BGC, because they are just smashing the show in ratings. If BGC was on MTV, they would definitely get a lot more viewers. TRW's main competition is Jersey Shore and possibly Teen Mom/16 & Pregnant.
I wasn't trying to be rude, just asking a simple question. I don't think I ever stated I dislike Brooklyn either. Brooklyn has actually been my favorite season since Key West. And I completely agree that DC was very boring, but I was just stating what is the best possibility.
I didn't think you were being rude. I thought you were being sarcastic. I just think they might do another serious season to redeem themselves from that "hot mess" they called RW: D.C. We can assume, be we just don't know. And if they don't quickly make up for RW: D.C., there might not ever be another serious season. The Real World would be typecast as a show for party seasons. Just like Jersey shore. It might mean better ratings, sure. But its called the "Real" world. What's genuine about young people partying and fornicating? Nothing. I just think they need to remind everyone that it is "The Real World", and its about real people dealing with real problems.Just like the tagline reads:This is the TRUE story...of seven (now 8) STRANGERS...picked to LIVE (not act) in a house... and have their LIVES taped...to FIND out what happens...when people STOP being polite...and start getting REAL." They need to go back to getting real folks, if they want a good serious season. And by the way: I thought RW: Denver was awesome. They really exposed themselves and dicussed real issues. Davis was "coming out."Brooke was taken out of her comfort zone, despite her anxiety problems. Stephen learned to accept people for the way they are, and to not be so judgemental. Tyrie learned that people are not that different on the inside, despite the way they act or behave. Jenn learned to be more respectful of others, and to consider their feelings. Alex - I don't know about him. He didn't really open up or grow at all, if you ask me. And Colie learned that you can't have your cake and eat it too, when it comes to relationships. She also learned that its hard for girls to be "players" and play the field. lol Am I right? Didn't anybody els think Denver was one of the best seasons? I would have to say this is my list of TOP 3 seasons I've seen. 1.RW: Denver 2.RW: B2NOLA 3.RW: Brooklyn The Worst RW Seasons: RW: Cancun and RW: D.C.

My friend who loves the challenges as well gave me info on Facebook and he told me this. Well on Jeff Barr's facebook he puts this on one of his status: "I'm ready for another one, I just got a call" I wonder if Jeff is talkin bout the challenges though.
I am (: Hopefully the Duel 3!
If it's Duel 3. I hope its more like the Duel 1, rather than 2. I LOVED the duel 1's format and how there was male days and female days. I didn't like how in the duel 2, both duels were on the same days/episode. Also I liked how there was 1 winner in a mission for a lifeshield, and 1 for a prize. I stopped watching the duel 2 after like the 3rd episode because I was disappointed.
I have a feeling Duel 3 will have a better format because it's highly anticipated..even the cast members are stoked for it. Duel 2 shouldn't have been set up like that because everything fell into a pair thing and it started looking like Fresh Meat. And since the NOLA kids will be on Season 21 of the challenge (lets say it is Duel 3) who could you all see competing?
Knight and Ashlee could probably have a fighting chance. Jemmeye and Ryan for noveltty I guess

I would love to see Knight do a challenge, i'm dying to see if he could hang. I also think Ashlee is an obvious choice because of her athletic background. After seeing Preston work that hammer i'm not expecting too many challenges in his future. On a side note... I clicked the link from the old "Back to New Orleans" thread and i saw a job listing in Houston 28 wks docu-reality soap. Only thing is it says from September to March. Just throwing that out there.
Houston? Finally! If not Houston then I think they should just return to Miami. It's a great city and the show hasnt been there since 1996. Or Ft. Lauderdale.

If so, do we know who?
Has it been confirmed that some castmates from RW:B2NOLA are gonna be on challenge 21? If so, do we know who?
No.
Has it been confirmed that some castmates from RW:B2NOLA are gonna be on challenge 21? If so, do we know who?
It's not confirmed but it's almost obvious. When a Real World season airs those roommates are eligible for the challenge the succeeds the one right after their season. EX. Real World Brooklyn to Duel II (which had no brooklyn kids) to Cancun to The Ruins (which featured Brooklyn, but not Cancun ) to D.C. to Fresh Meat II (which featured Cancun, but not D.C.) to NOLA to Cutthroat (which features D.C. but not NOLA) to Real World 25 to Challenge 21 (which WILL feature NOLA but not RW25).
have i missed it? does anyone know where the next Real World (after New Orleans) is being filmed?
have i missed it? does anyone know where the next Real World (after New Orleans) is being filmed?
If anyone knew I'm sure it would have it's own thread and you wouldn't have to ask :D So in other words, no.
Could it be that Houston posting, or no? Job Title: Field Director/Field Producer Job Start: 09/15 Job End: 03/01 Total Weeks: -28 Show Name: Various Network: Various Company: Reality TV Production Company Location: Houston, Tx Job Description: Looking for experienced Field Producer/Director for a cable series in Houston, Texas. This person MUST have extensive experience in single and 2 camera reality/docu-soaps. To be considered, you must be able to live in Houston as a local. This job will last approximately 26 weeks.
I pray to God its not Houston! I lived there for about two years and still have family residing in the area. Great place to visit for a weekend or so, but after that it's hella BORING! After all this waiting we've been doing, expecting some amazing international destination, and we get Houston? That would be the BIGGEST let down ever.
***,haven't they already been to Texas 2 times already? They need to go to somewhere new!

Those dates don't match up with normal Real World filming dates.

Those dates don't match up with normal Real World filming dates.
Plus it wouldn't match up with the episodes. If Cut Throat starts in October, it wouldn't be done until at least 10 weeks later. Leaving a 4 month gap between the RW season even ends. I really think this season started in another country and we just don't know it yet.
Just to play devil's advocate... it could be that the filming will finish up before Christmas (end of november or something) but that this particular job advertisement is for a job where the person will be needed for production stuff (yah I'm not in the industry so have NO idea of terminology) after filming is finished. Then the season would start airing in January. I know there are probably many other explanations for this job posting (I mean there are hundreds of reality shows now) but I'm just trying to see a way that it COULD be a possibility for RW. Not that I want it to be. I'd definitely rather see an international destination.
