This weekend i went camping and a girl that came along said that one of her friends was gonna be on The Real World and that she heard it was The Real World: Costa Rica. But of course she could definitely be wrong.
I just spent 30 minutes looking for job postings for PAs in Spanish. No dice. Not saying its wrong, but there's nothing around reflecting documentary TV work.
There's a few job listings in the usual spots that are seeking production staff for 23 weeks for an Atlanta shoot for a "docu reality"...
23 was the amt of weeks for DC and New Orleans...
Not sure what other type of show would be shooting 23 weeks in Atlanta.
Just to note, one of them mentions Roswell, near ATL

The listing I found for Atlanta also says it's for a major 3 network.
If its in ATL that would be amazing... and Costa Rica...sounds like they would be trying to take the show in a new direction since its called the real world and there running out of U.S. major cities....but I mean it is called Real World maybe that could boost ratings by making all the cities international ones now...hmmm

Wait, what's the name of the show again?
St. Louis does suck, everyone I know is dying to leave. I think they should have the next RW somewhere like Vancouver or Toronto.
Glad to see my post inspired you to join. Welcome to Vevmo! Glad to see another Missourian on board (sorry you're from St. Louis though).
... and I doubt they'll have RW in Vancouver since they just filmed FM 2 there.
Lol thanks, I've been following Vevmo for a while to find all of the juicy casting spoilers.
...and true, but I feel they've been neglecting Canada for a RW (except for the real world movie I forgot to finish watching). I'm just ready for new cities to appear.
BTW, I'm so stoked for Duel III, but IMO I think they should wait awhile and let some of the new challengers gain some experience.

They could still one there i mean they went to australia twice. once with rr down under and then again with fresh meat 1.

[strike]as in abc, nbc or cbs?[/strike]
As in ABC, NBC, or CBS?

And again with RW: Sydney.
Come to think of it, they've overused Mexico.
1. RR: Latin America
2. Battle of the Seasons
3. Inferno
4. Inferno II
5. Gauntlet III
6. RW: Cancun
7. Spring Break Challenge
The production costs in Mexico would be WAY less. And the Australian dollar used to be much weaker in comparison to the US dollar, so I'm not surprised they went there 3 times. I doubt they will go back in this current economic climate, as the dollars are near par.
As well, might be waiting to do Canada when the US dollar is worth a bit more.
For economic reasons I could see them doing somewhere like Costa Rica. Or staying in the US.
Hey maybe we'll see Real World Harare. (yes that's a joke)
I don't understand the point of a Real World in Costa Rica, there is just nothing special there in terms of cities. Although it would be great for a challenge.

I was referring to the fact that FM 2 just happened not too long ago. I understand they film in the same location a few times.
As long as it's not a serious season.
I personally really enjoy the serious seasons a little more than party seasons (excetp DC, because that was just plain boring). Since New Orleans is doing really well and it's hands down a party season, I'm guessing the next season will be a party season as well. Even though I would want a serious season if they could get the right kind of people.

I think having a serious season w/ having moments of drama and partying will be great but I agree DC was..... no comment.

I agree. I think that Brooklyn was a perfect example of a good and enjoyable serious season.

I agree. Brooklyn was probably the best example of the most recent serious season. I wish they could pull out another Key West season. I think Key West was the perfect mixture of party, drama, and serious situations.
After seeing the drastic difference in ratings between DC and New Orleans, I wouldn't be surprised if BMP stuck to party locations from now on.
I wouldn't mind that at all.

DITTO! Maybe every 3rd or 4th season can be serious. But, the cast has to be AMAZING. Just like Brooklyn. They should take a good amount of time (maybe a year or 2) while the party seasons are playing to find interesting folks for a serious season. Just an idea.
I assume that we have confirmed that there will be a Real World XXVI. But, have we confirmed the location of Real World XXV? Just wonderin. And do we have an expected due date for the "Cut-Throat:The Challenge"?
Yes Real World has a contract through the 26th season and the 21st season of the challenge. We don't know about season 25 or the challenge. But it'll most likely start 2 or 3 weeks after this current season.
