That Casting guy who does the cbs stuff is salty yet he never calls the good players back. Just a hand full of good players who get voted out by the fillers for the season.
Watching Champs vs Contenders 2. David, Luke, & Harry are perfect reality tv villains. They are evil and ruthless and don't care but still are likable and rootable. They are everything Russell & Wes want to be but never can be. However, the editing is píșśing me off more and more each season. A girl who made is 7 episodes got 0 confessionals. The girl who left episode 10 didn't get a confessional till her boot episode. These episodes are 60-70 minutes of show time and these people don't get any confessionals. I love Luke but we don't need 20 confessionals of him saying the same thing every episode.
I also hate how a player will give one confessional but it's sliced together with three different confessionals and they don't hide it. The person will start talking with a full beard and then they'll cut to b-roll and come back and the person has a completely clean-shaven face, cut back to b-roll, go back to the person to finish the confessional and the person has just a little facial hair. Like wtf?

It's pretty annoying. Pretty sure one of the people you're talking about is Sam, and I remember Harry saying it was crazy they gave her no airtime because she was actually a huge player in the game while she was there
I've noticed watching Australian Survivor how they just have such a better attitude about life than Americans. They are so much more upbeat and positive. They have a better attitude about the game and don't get butthurt by villains, they embrace it. Their sob stories don't feel as sobby...they fill more about resilience. After visiting Australia I wanted to move there and watching this reminds me why. It's what Probst wants Survivor to be but can't figure out. It's fun and upbeat while also cutthroat and ruthless. It's not just a bunch of desperate nerds. The olds are even great and go deep. I hope Teresa on Survivor 50 is our Shane. Sorry this was all over the place lol. I sound like Cosmic Castaway.
What is wild to me is how much harder they play for half a million for a way longer period too lol. Half a million isn't even a lot in Australia. Everything there is so expensive cause their wages and minimum wages are so high...which is why raising minimum wage is dumb...but anyway. So basically they are playing twice as long for 1/4 of the money and still play 3x as hard.

Teresa Cooper from Survivor Africa who got screwed out of Survivor Second Chances and then was left out Survivor Game Changers while Jeff invited back all the men that weren't voted into 2nd Chances and that nobody wanted. Shane was a 60 year old female winner of Australian Survivor. Teresa will be a 60 year old winner of American Survivor.

Yes they do... last season pretty much every episode after the merge they all got to eat buffets.... Most of the contestants looked like they hadn't lost any weight after 26 days. I understand the budget costs of the 26 days why are they feeding them so much.

They actually give them less food in the new era. There's no rice at the beginning so premerge everyone is starving. Charlie lost like 25 pounds in under a month.
Survivor can just be about living in the wilderness starving them isn't necessary.
Anyway I'm noticing American tv shows getting whiter again. I wonder if CBS will fall in line with the Trump administration and separate themselves from "DEI" and stop casting 50% Bipoc. I will boycott if they go backwards.
