Survivor China: Ep. 1501 - A Chicken's a Little Bit Smarter
Survivor is back and this time in China. As usual the first episode of the new Survivor season was not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination. There was so much information to shove down our throats in that initial hour, it was hard to build a compelling storyline. I am all for the location. It is beautiful. I want to go to China! The monks were priceless as they assured correct form and the fact that Leslie could not make it through a non-worship ceremony and rather choose to disrespect the culture, added her right to my hater list. The only other one to join that list in the first 15 minutes was Courtney. I have a feeling she will not make it very far with that attitude. Honorable mentions are John-Robert, as he just seems slimy and Peih-Gee. I was not surprised Chicken was sent packing, but I was disappointed. Even though he came off as abrasive I think he would have been an asset to the tribe, much more so then whiners like PG (I could tell even Jeff enjoyed the irony when she volunteered to be the "leader" of Zhan Hu.) I think we are going to see a much more linear episode next week and now that we have been introduced, we can settle in and enjoy the journey that is Survivor. It might not be new or groundbreaking, but it is comfortable and sometimes that is just what you need.
Well, I'm disappointed in the first tribal council. Ashley should have gone. What do they think she's going to contribute - milk? Chicken tried to take lead and no one wanted to follow, then you vote him out? This is why I don't watch this show. It frustrates me.
I love the "milk comment"....lol. That is the first thing I thought about too when I saw her. :naughty:
Poor Chiken never stood a chance:( He talks just like grandpa and Phei-Ghee looks just like my adopted cousin!
Since this was brought back up, here is an update on Jean Robert, (not like I expect anyone to want one), He is pretty much broke right now, I am not sure if he is poker broke or total broke. However, he is still getting staked into cash games so he can play.
Bad boy of poker? HA!
