Season 3 has been my favourite so far... miles better than the second season and surprisingly better than the first!
The storylines are all interesting and insane. The acting is amazing, especially for the awkward and disturbing scenes they have every week lmao
I'm confident the finale will deliver just as much as every other episode this season... maybe even more! :)
Just finished watching the finale!! (no big spoilers)
A calmer episode compared to the rest of the season, but it just felt right. Everyone is going off to do new things and it leaves me curious and ready to find out if it all ends up working out for all of them.
I actually felt really compassionate for Frank... somehow this season has changed my whole opinion of him. His relationships with Lip, Carl, and Fiona almost brought me to tears in the finale. I really hope Frank stays true to his word and sobers up...

This show gives me so much life , Every season it gets better and better Fiona/Steve , Ian/Mickey have had some of the best relationship plots and Lip/Debbie and Frank are just flaw free characters.
I hate having to wait a year but if the seasons keep turning out so goid it's worth it.

But I agree with everyone, it's a great show and the finale upped its game in my opinion.

If you have the opportunity - do yourself the favor and watch the original version - all of it Shameless is FLAWLESS - dark, twisted, so so wrong... where I fell for James McAvoy ((sigh)) and a cast of broken characters! I've seen both start to finish and while Showtime is good, Sundance is amazing!! I was heartbroken saying goodbye to those characters!!
I've actually heard many people and reviews say that the American version is superior... I'm not saying I think that.. but I do have to agree that the US version is absolutely phenomenal... great cast of adults and kids! The writers always push the envelope and always manage to create meaningful, even sometimes relatable, storylines... what a show! Glad it continues to do well in the ratings as well... and can't wait to find out how the finale's twist will affect the next season! :D

I've heard a bit of both when it comes to original vs US versions, I guess it really depends on who you're asking. I think I may give the original a shot, as well as watch the US version again so I can get a really good comparison!
Both versions are simply world class , Showtime is really underrated on American television they have been producing some phenomenal shows the past few years , the original is simply amazing I got to watch it recently while in London , absolutely incredible I completely binge watched it for 3 days straight.
Damn :/ If you use Chrome I think there's some type of extension you can download that enables you to watch no matter what country you're from. I think it's called Hola, but not sure how good/true/safe it is since I've never had to bother trying it.
This season has been amazing so far , I love the dynamic of Ian/Micky , Kevin/ Vee (It's nice to see this parenting dynamic) and Carl/Debbie storyline , I just wish Fiona can finally be happy cause I can't believe Jimmy came back , the timing is crazy but I Stan Gus more than Jimmy rn. The only thing I'm not feeling is Lip whole School storyline.

I mean we all knew Jimmy was gonna come back at some point since we saw him in last season's finale... I mean I don't mind him. I hate everything he does and how he is basically Fiona's kryptonite... she becomes powerless around him. She can't resist him either. And the dynamics of their relationship, now that she finally has something good with Gus is really interesting. I do feel they are making Jimmy to be especially a ****, so that it will give Fiona a better reason to stay with Gus, who actually geniuinley likes her.. and who doesn't have any problems. It'll be interesting to see how he gets written off this time haha...
Ian's bi-polar story is really shaping up to be the best of the season. This past episode was heartbreaking to watch... mental illness is no joke. And the fact that all the other siblings are seeing Ian go through what their mother went through is especially hard to watch.
Lips college story has so far been meh this season... I liked it a little more last season. There's nothing exciting with it right now... but this is Shameless... somethings gotta be right around the corner (maybe Mandy ends up going to his college and living in the dorm where he's an RA! haha)
Carl's drug dealing story is pretty funny, as well as Debbie's "bad girl" stint... her High School days will be highly entertaining, i'm sure of it.
V and Kev are a whole new dynamic this season... i'm still a little iffy on the storyline, especially after last episode... but its interesting to see how they navigate the waters of being parents.
Only character I don't care for is Sammi.... even Frank has been a little entertaining this season.. especially with the new liver storyline hahaha
