Wes Bergmann The Real World Austin Wes is the kind of guy you love to hate. He takes pride in projecting himself as an obnoxious, super-competitive jock, but he is also bright and entrepreneurial. He spent most of his time in Austin breaking furniture, trying to make Johanna jealous. His temper made it's most memorable appearance their last night in the house, when he berated Rachel after she leaked he and Wren's secret hook up. Will we see his fiery temper in Thailand? Challenges: Fresh Meat, The Duel, The Ruins. Kansas City, Kansas.

:) Wes, the best from the Duel 1 is back! ;)
Although Evan, Derrick, Cohutta and Kelly Anne are my favorites going into this, I am most excited to see Wes out of everyone :).

Finally some new but old faces. Anyway, I am surprised to see how the drama will unfold.
I as well hope to see some drama with Joahnna, Kenny and Kelly Anne.
Wes looks like he has lost a lot of weight since the Duel.
Wes looks like he has lost a lot of weight since the Duel.
Do you have a picture that shows this? I'm not sure of his Myspace or Facebook so I'm not really sure how he's looking these days. Wes Bergmann | Facebook If that's his official FB (sorry I'm not friends with anybody from the challenges and don't keep up with their websites haha) then I agree, he does look alot smaller in that picture, unless it's from before his MTV career.
I wonder if Wes is going to be as good as he was on the first Duel. I read the spoilers and after hearing them, I still wonder.

But you can check it out for yourself at your own risk.

I agree he does look smaller and seems to have lost the definition that he had gained after FM and had during the Duel. Also molds, I PMed you asking something that you can probably help me with haha.
Wes didn't kick that much *** on the first Duel, he won the last two missions which were both swimming missions and lucked out and won the final because CT got sent home. He was mediocre to poor in 75% of the other missions. Can't wait to see Starkman & company put him back in his place on the foodchain on this challenge.

I hope he has been training and keeping himself in shape for those 3 years that he hasn't been around.
Wes doesn't look to be as in shape as he was on the Duel. I really dislike Wes. People make him out to be the best player ever, when he really isn't. I like Brad better and would have rather had Brad win over Wes, but Brad isn't that great. He's never sitting at the top of the pyramid, and usually outclassed by 3 to 4 players each challenge he is on. Were it CT or Evan in the final, Wes would have lost. I would think maybe Derrick too, but I don't think he's great at soccer either.
Brad is nowhere near the level of CT or Evan and even he barely lost on the first Duel to Wes despite giving up a 2 minute headstart. Outside of swimming missions, Wes is simply not a top tier competitor that guys like Evan, CT, Landon, and Alton are. Those guys do everything very well... Wes is average at everything and happens to be great at swimming. I think even Wes himself knows he isn't as good as CT or Evan or else he wouldn't have came up with the scheme to get the two of them to try and eliminate the other on the first Duel so that he (Wes) wouldn't have to face them because he knew he'd lose.
I really think Wes lucked out Pole Wrestle wasn't a regular wrestling match like beach brawl. Derrick would have won then.
I really think Wes lucked out Pole Wrestle wasn't a regular wrestling match like beach brawl. Derrick would have won then.
I disagree. I don't see how Derrick's chances at Pole Wrestle would be any better in Beach Brawl. Because he had to keep his hands on a pole, that placed him at a handicap? I think at the time of Duel 1 Wes was just plain better in certain athletic areas than Derrick was. And while you claim Wes is mediocre at best and everyone boasts about how great and godly he is at these challenges, I could say and have said the same about Derrick. Derrick and Wes both get some sort of odd and elite praise, and I find both good and athletic yet beatable - and Wes is one of my favorite males ever.
Derrick is a much better all-around competitor than Wes if you ask me. He's just more rounded athletically and excels at more than just one thing. BOTS2, he was sent home due to politics. Gauntlet 2, he lost in a game that was heavily slanted to favor heavier people, plus Timmy was strong and athletic as well. Pole Wrestle had nothing to do at all with any sort of skill or athleticism. Anybody could take one look at Wes' arms and Derrick's arms and know that Wes would win in a game like that. Real wrestling doesn't even closely resemble that game, I know quite a few of my friends who are smaller than I am that I could smoke in Pole Wrestle just because I'm bigger and have stronger arms, but they would work me in real wrestling. It's especially hard to wrestle against a wrestler if you have no experience in it, and Wes even admitted on that show that he had no wrestling experience.
While I get what you are trying to say, but I completely disagree. With your philosophy, that means Syrus should of won in Beach Brawl in Gauntlet 2, right? Because size of arms, or legs, or mass.? But he clearly did not win that elimination. Or how about Duel 1, that challenge where people had to wrestle last man standing plank. Big Easy, technically, should of won because he was the biggest dude but Derrick got him out as well. Pole wrestle isn't who has the biggest arms but rather a test of physical strength, mentality, and endurance. Didn't they go for like an hour in there? Both were exhausted - and again, with your philosophy, the one who has the bigger arms would experience exhaustion faster than someone smaller with less mass. I respect your points and opinions, but the cries of Wes only won because he is bigger or had more muscle in his arms is ludicrous to me. Derrick may be more "well rounded" but Wes has plenty of areas where he excels. Swimming, and soccer, and apparently pole wrestle. I don't know, I say give credit where credit is due. It was an entirely fair match up from what was shown on air to date with no DQ or strange rulings. If Derrick was the better competitor in that Duel, he would of held onto that stick and won. Period.
I've been playing the video game "Bully" lately and Wes kind of looks like the main character in the game lol :-)

As a matter of fact, the bigger you are, the more likely you are to look like an uncoordinated **** wrestling against somebody with experience. And I wouldn't even call soccer a skill or an asset either on the challenges. That was the only instance where soccer was ever used in a challenge & it was rather pointless and unfair to feature an individual sport like that in the final challenge that could give one competitor a clear, distinct advantage over the other. It'd be like them doing a hockey shootout on the Duel 2, clearly something Evan would excel at, or motocross racing, something Brad would excel at. I was really dumbfounded as to how they could feature one individual sport that outright in a final like that.
They featured soccer because they were in Brazil, where soccer is distinct sport. That did make sense.
Wes is amazing!!
Wes is the man. His brawl with Derrick in the Duel is IMO the best head to head elimination in the history of the Challenge. This will be the first challenge I've watched since the Duel.
They featured soccer because they were in Brazil, where soccer is distinct sport. Okay forget all this "which guy is better than the other guy" talk. lol. They are all good competitors with strengths and weaknesses. None of them wimps. I feel bad for the small guys who go on these challenges. They never have a chance. What I really want to know is if Wes is still with Kelly Anne.

Wes is already the star of the show and it hasn't even aired.
Wes looks realllllllyyyyyy good. I know he's going to dominate he's one of the strongest guys there without a doubt. I think he's way better than Evan or Kenny IMO.
He is my second favorite!!!!!!! He looks smaller then he did on the Duel though!!!!!
He does look smaller. From the looks of the trailer, he might be one of my favorites this season.
