@JazMTV I guess better let everyone know I'm OFFICIALLY RETIRING from challenges. I had a great run but I'm moving on to a normal life. I will miss some parts of it and I'm very thankful for the opportunity I got! Thank you mtv and BMP productions! ! Should I be sad about this?

I actually don't mind Jaz. I don't really look at twitter aside from when someone posts something about it on here, and from what I've seen of it she's trying way too hard, but I appreciate that regardless of the fact that she's not very good she still tries her *** off. It's the same reason that, after Free Agents, I don't really mind Preston. Not everyone is an athlete, but they still try to compete with the people who are better. Though I wouldn't mind if she toned it down in the house...but the last couple seasons she hasn't been as crazy.
People probably see people like jacinda, Jamie and the miz and think, "oh if I do mtv i'll become famous like them." but no, times were different back then. And they're what? 3/200+ challengers?
And plus when those 3 got famous they were more or less removed from The Real World/Challenges. In order to be taken seriously in showbiz They're gonna have to distance themselves from MTV completely I think.
Thats funny that they still contacted Jamie for Seasons. I always wondered if they still contact people like her, Dave G, and the Miz who all have bigger entertainment jobs now in hopes they might score them to advertise that 'WWE Star the MIZ Returns' or 'Star of Grimm and Undefeated Challenge Vet Dave G Returns'....you know, for ratings. Which I doubt any three will ever come back. Since Jamie has, does anyone know if Dave G and The Miz were contacted for a challenge after they 'made it'.
lol Jazmine just wants attention, she retired before -_-
Out of curiosity, was Jo ever asked back after Gauntlet 2? Thought it would be funny if she was contacted. And what was the reason behind them calling her for the Gauntlet 2 in the first place...I know people have said that they were desperate for cast members that season, and I'm happy they went with a random (though she may have ruined it for future random castings until Lacey came about) but any reason why they went with her?

They didn't replace her when she quit because they actually couldn't find a rookie girl to replace her.
...She was the only rookie girl who accepted the call? They didn't replace her when she quit because they actually couldn't find a rookie girl to replace her.
Weren't there rumors that Gauntlet 2 was supposed to be Old School vs New School?
Weren't there rumors that Gauntlet 2 was supposed to be Old School vs New School?
Yes, this is true as well. Supposedly when they made the switch to Rookies vs Veterans, the teams got all mixed up or something.
Yes, this is true as well. Supposedly when they made the switch to Rookies vs Veterans, the teams got all mixed up or something.
That's probably the reason why Jamie ended on the rookies team, they likely didn't have another rookie male on standby.
Why did so many people reject the call to come on Gauntlet 2? I'm assuming they didn't have this problem for Gauntlet 1/Inferno 1/Battle of the Sexes/Inferno 2?
That's probably the reason why Jamie ended on the rookies team, they likely didn't have another rookie male on standby.
Why didn't they just drop 4 people lol?
Why didn't they just drop 4 people lol?
It's BMP we're talking about, thinking of logical solutions isn't always their strong point!
Back then they wanted 36 cast members.
Back then they wanted 36 cast members.
They should've cut that cast down to size if they were having that much trouble getting people for that particular challenge. But it turned out to be a good challenge in the end so it was all for the best I suppose.
That's probably the reason why Jamie ended on the rookies team, they likely didn't have another rookie male on standby.
Worked out good for him...he left with some money lol
I know several veteran girls dropped out due to Beth being cast
Ive never understood why people pay so much attention to her. I get that people have always disliked her but why not just ignore her? She's like 15 years older than most cast members and even back in the day people talked crap about her. Coral admitted to throwing a drink at her at a party. Veronica came out of nowhere disliking her. Tonya went ape **** about the whole Mark/Robin thing and I feel like it were anyone else, they just would have had a simple little argument. Did this all start from word mouth from Norman?
I know several veteran girls dropped out due to Beth being cast
I recall rather clearly that Beth was one of the last people cast that season. She had declined earlier due to a competing engagement. I remember the timing because I negotiated that contract with BMP for her. As for Beth and Tonya, they became friends the year following Inferno II after discussing what had happened in Mexico, particularly with regard to how production coached Tonya for "clothes into the pool" stuff, and how Beth and production manufactured the stuff about Mark. Production knew in advance that Beth would be leaving the next day since she had a prior commitment at the Sundance Film Festival.

Several cast members back then were a hell of alot worst than her honestly.

V1Man...always coming through with the facts when we need him most. Yeahyuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I miss Beth though, she was always one of my favorties, and very **********...*** was a strong girl imo.
I doubt you or anyone else needs them, but thanks for the thought.
it's true though, I do love your comments because you give us insight we never would have had, and for the people like myself who started watching this during the first couple seasons (I didn't start until Battle of the Sexes 1 though) it's fun to hear these different bits of trivia we prob. would never hear unless someone comes out with a tell-all book (which I would buy in a heart beat by the way lol).
Thanks for the inside info but tht still doesn't answer my question, lol. No one liked her back in the day. Yes I know that Coral and her were cool on GIII and Katie has never shown dislike towards her, but why all the hate during Seasons1, BOTSexes, and Inferno 2? I feel out of nowhere everyone disliked her on Inferno 2.
