Well Dave also did not have an alliance. Seems like the Sydney cast will look out for each other like the Austin cast on fresh meat.
I hate the ritual of newbies going home first though because then we end up see the same people over and over in the challenges.
Yeah but Austin was still targeted there and you know Dave was a loner so he pretty much came in without really anyone. At least Sydney has a few there. Still the older cast members will target the new ones unless someone throws a wrench in that.

yea that was the exact point I was making. How did he get on the challenge anyway? And how come he was the only cast member from Hollywood?
It was a smaller challenge so they probably didn't have room for any of the other cast or the cast were unavailable or they didn't like the format. While all newbies are generally targeted , it helps to have some backup and unluckily for Dave he had none it seems. I think it'll be interesting to see him on there without Will or anyone.

If you think you have found something, please let us know first by PM.
If Dave is, in fact, on his way home, then obviously we can't ask him any questions because if he answered them he would be violating his contract. If were were to now post any details about the challenge it would appear that Dave is our source, since he is the only person perhaps known to be off the challenge. It would seem obvious to Bunim/Murray, MTV and their completely without humor attorneys who it was who talked to us. I'm guessing Dave does not have $1M in his bank account to pay Viacom what he would owe them for the violation. Getting any info from him is now a dead issue.

Aw man, I love dave. I thought there might be a slight chance that he would stay a bit longer because he seems like a guy who can make friends rather easily and quickly.
Why would he post that he's going home though on his facebook? Wouldn't that be not allowed? Maybe its a trick lol.

The fact that BMP/MTV has not said he is on a challenge means that him writing "Coming home" should mean nothing, [I]in theory[/I]. ;)

lol Well maybe he figured since he was coming home it didn't matter? I would have liked to see him stay longer but maybe it wasn't a hate thing. More like it's easier to send him home than any of us type thing.

Ah yes, that makes sense. They should smarten up though and realize the cast list is always leaked!
They probably do realize it but think we wouldn't be able to figure it out anything like we do. Plus spoilers can help create a buzz sometimes with these challenges.

BMP/MTV both live in 1995 when it comes to the internet. They are absolutely clueless...
They know there [I]is [/I]an internet and all the cool people hang out there, but don't understand the overall scope, the speed, or how to take advantage of the medium.
They have a brick and mortar mentality while their primary audience lives digitally. It is quite sad, actually.

Yeah that is indeed true. Well not that sad as long as it keeps getting us spoilers and such they can live in 1995 all they want.

Dave probably didn't know that his name was published at being on the challenge ;) So he likely didn't realize he was confirming something for us.
It does matter, GW, because he signed a contract. He has to be careful; they all do. When one signs a contract, it means that one understands one's obligations and will adhere to it or incur any penalty contained in the contract.

I'm excited about this challenge. It will be nice to watch it when it airs. It's nice that MTV is bringing in a new format for this challenge rather than a sequel to an old one (Battle of the Sexes, The Inferno, The Gaunlet, The Duel, etc.). I hope this is the first of new challenge formats that we will see for the upcoming seasons.
I have to say, I'm kinda stoked that Rachel is coming back. And I think it will be VERY interesting to see her without Shane, Veronica, Coral, Tina and her usual crew. I hope she does well, and shows Evelyn a thing or two about being a strong woman without selling out all the other girls just to be in with the guys.
Yea Rachel is one of my favs as well, but I am in the corner of my girl Tonya!
She falls under the pressure sometimes but it will be good to see her win one.

I have had a mixed opinion about Rachael over the years but I like to see her on the challenges and that is a great point it will be interesting to see how she interacts with the others like say Tonya. Evelyn definitely needs to be taken down a little bit because her ego grows each season it seems. Plus Abe will definitely be interesting to see...unless he goes crazy again but I guess that'd be interesting to see too.

Evelyn met someone a few weeks before this challenge started and wants to keep the potential of that relationship honest. She also really doesn't want to again appear as foolish as she did during G3 -- she blames herself, not Brooke or the editors.

I think it was less than two weeks including all the pre-show stuff where there are often no cameras.
