The major red flag that I see with proclaiming the current challenge The Duel II is that sources inside production have indicated some type of team divisions, which would go against the previously defined format that we saw in the first incarnation of said Challenge. That being said, anything is possible. They could have a completely different format with different rules and goals whilst still calling it The Duel II. It is only a name.
If it is Survivor themed, then they will have two teams to start off with. Then, they'll eventually merge into one tribe where there will only be one winner, a la The Duel. I also have to say that if it is Survivor themed and they have no amenities then Cohutta might do better than people expect. I'm sure that this woodsman knows how to make a fire and shelter, and maybe even how to gather food.
The Denver cast did Outward Bound. They know alot of survivor skills.

One Survivor season had four teams... you know what they say about the word "assume..." ;) We know that Cohutta dresses the part, but do we know that "grandpa" actually taught him anything? It will be fun to find out, and even more fun for me if it turns out that he is clueless.

All I was trying to say was that there can be teams in the beginning, but the challenge can still have one winner, therefore it can still be like the duel. I also have to say Cohutta's talk with his grandpa was my favorite moment of the season "its not how much liquor you can drink, or how much *** you can kick" LMAO
JK -- note the smiliey face at the end of my first sentence. I'm picking on you. Agree re Cohutta. It was one of the few "real" moments from the entire season.

Not sure if this is true but I heard that the eliminations have started for the new challenge.
Not sure if this is true but I heard that the eliminations have started for the new challenge.
Well I am guessing that it should be right around this time though I wonder if they jump on the next flight out or do they keep them there since it seems there was a return date set.
Not sure if this is true but I heard that the eliminations have started for the new challenge.
Just working from the standard script, the first event (mission) would have taken place on the 13th. Since they are shooting continuously this season (no weekends), there may have been two eliminations by now.

I can't wait till we find out who.
We might not found out until they finish filming but it was probably one of the newer cast members. Who knows though it could be anyone there have been surprise eliminations before.
We will find out. Bacchus has his ways.
Ah yes if anyone can find out it is definitely Bacchus
who do you guys think'll win it? who do you have your bets on for winning? i can't wait till we find out who gets sent home!
Ah yes if anyone can find out it is definitely Bacchus
It was a very quiet weekend for me. I'll have to get on the ball. I guess we need to make a few logical assumptions in order to narrow the search efforts. Dunbar, Dave, Ashli and KellyAnne. One of them is most likely to have been eliminated first. If the first elimination was the 13th. They probably stayed overnight on either on Contadora Island or in Panama City - returning on the 14th or 15th. Basically, one should be home with one on the way (although a cursory look into the wild shows no signs of any of them yet.) Things will start turning up this week. They always do.
It probably was one of them unless Dunbar and Abe destroyed each other in a blind rage. We'll definitely see something turn up if not shame on MTV for not slipping up and letting us spoil their secrets blah
They must be very hungry by now
They must be very hungry by now
Properly cooked, rats taste like a cross between chicken and rabbit. It's the Caribbean, think "jerk rat." Yummy...
Ah yes if anyone can find out it is definitely Bacchus
yeah... how and why is it exactly that you know so much, bacchus?
... unless Dunbar and Abe destroyed each other in a blind rage.
i daresay i might even go pay-per-view for that.
yeah... how and why is it exactly that you know so much, bacchus?
Attention to detail and networking.
Plus he is all knowing and sees all there is to see or something like that. I can't wait to get new details on this challenge and hopefully this one ends up airing in the fall sometime. So it fills the dead space until the next Real World and because I want to see it as fast as I can.

The first tapes from Panama hopefully arrived in Van Nuys today.
Yeah fall sweeps does seem like the perfect placement for it, I can wait at least until then I hope haha
well Dave's coming home... i'm sad... i wanted a new guy to go far...
Being that we know newbies need to do the rite of passage thing with the challenges, I have a good feeling that Dave will not be the last challenge virgin we see back in the states over the next few days.
That was pretty much something I saw coming, most of the new people seem to disappear fast when coming on these things. I wish Dave hadn't left so early because it'd be interesting to see him in a challenge setting longer. We'll probably see some Sydney cast coming home soon too.
well Dave's coming home... i'm sad... i wanted a new guy to go far...
How do we know that he is coming home?

I don't mind a new person going home first. For the past few Challenges it has become ritual. I kind of like it. I don't think all of the newbies will be eliminated fastly though. KellyAnne will be given the boot though. Unless she remains her normal self and follows everybody else than she may have a chance.
Thank you. I don't have Facebook so I was just wondering. I should really consider getting one. I never saw him making it very far. Especially a real newbie like him. He must be crushed that he wasn't there long enough to sleep with all of them.:sarcastic_hand:
