If it was an accident, yes. If it's on purpose, no. I admit, I was over-dramatizing what I would do. I wouldn't exactly "beat the ****" out of someone. But they def would get hit.
Were you abused as a child? Honest question. It sounds like you have rage/anger issues, which often do manifest later in life from an unhealthy developmental environ.
Were you abused as a child? Honest question.
Lol Nope. But Idk why it's so hard to understand. I totally see you guy's standpoint on it that violence isn't right. Okay, I get that. All I'm saying is that there are times where it isn't easy, or right, to turn around and go "HEY! That wasn't very nice of you!!" I used to work at Disney World and I'm one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, I'm never going to go looking for a fight. However, I will make sure to defend myself. If the shoe was on the other foot and I threw a drink on someone, I'd be expecting to get hit.
Defending myself is not going to land me in jail. I never said "I'm gonna go looking for fights and put my hands on whoever I can get to!". If someone pours a drink on me, I'm going to hit them. No, I'm not going to go as hard as Nia, but they will get hit. I was taught, and I will teach my kids, that if someone hits you then you hit them back. It's not "cool", it's self-defense. No violence is not the ideal thing and you should always try to talk it out, but once someone gets physical it's too late for that. No wonder why today's generation are being brought up like a bunch of punks. No, don't be a bully who looks for fights, but don't be a ***** either. You people are being way over-dramatic. The vibe I'm getting is "If I get hit or something thrown at me, I'm just going to run away."
Self-defense doesn't entail staying in the same area as the perpetrator while he's tucked away out of your reach and waiting for him to be caught off guard so you can hit him with a weapon, especially well after you already punched him in the back of the head ten times while he did not make any attempt to hit back.
Self-defense doesn't entail staying in the same area as the perpetrator while he's tucked away out of your reach and waiting for him to be caught off guard so you can hit him with a weapon, especially well after you already punched him in the back of the head ten times while he did not make any attempt to hit back.
I already said she was wrong for that. If you read back, instead of typing a run on sentence, you can see that I'm saying the first hit was justified. However, her following actions were childish and stupid.
Nia's apology was too little too late for me.
Can't believe people sided with Nia on the whole fight situation!!! Nia's fake, so I don't see why people would like her and she's a maniac who physically assaulted 3 of the roommates. Bird is a loser, she acts like an advocate for non-violence but watches everybody fight and says nothing, she's probably the fakest cast member too.
This right here made Bird lose points with me. She says its not her business to get involved in fights and so she doesn't. But if she wants peace in the house, she needs to help create it, which means getting involved. Bird I have no doubts you are not meant to survive in a Challenge house, sorry.
YvanEhtNioj, are you a serenafan? Serious question?
YvanEhtNioj, are you a serenafan? Serious question?
A what..? lol sorry
I used to work at Disney World and I'm one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, I'm never going to go looking for a fight...
AHA! DisneyITIS the disease of social stereotypes and repressed anger. (just kidding ...kinda) That will be 5 cents. Seriously though what I saw of Nia's response to a piece of tissue was rage and it was definitely without a doubt over the top and incongruous with the situation. She played a hunch that Johnny would not light her up so it seems she went after him knowing she wouldn't get hit which was unfair. Just because a man won't hit a woman doesn't mean you have the right to beat on him and I do believe that if Johnny would have called the police she would have been arrested that night booger tissue or no booger tissue. What she did was pure stupidity and she admitted she took it too far and for what? She proved nothing, if Johnny had stepped DOWN to her level and decked her she would have been knocked the **** out then what? By the "rules" outlined above he would have been defending himself.
I really wish this show went back to the half hour formula. I remember actually caring and learning a lot about these cast members so the finale was always sad. Sydney ran for about 7 months while Portland ran for 4, huge difference. Maybe the reason Sydney's finale was really sad was because that was the first season I really got invested in. Anyway, Nia made this season interesting, so I do thank her. But I hope production realizes that violence doesn't mean ratings. How about we end the Real World with a bang? Bring in people with serious issues, or give us another Brooklyn!

I remember it being very uninteresting. I think the next Real World's ratings will be greatly aided by stories that people are totally unfamiliar with. I think shows like Catfish do well because the scenario is new to people, but also relevant. Las Vegas 2 was an amazing season IMO, and it's [relative] success hinged on Dustin's past. RW was originally about introducing people to new things, as shown by Pedro. If they can make a cast that brings that back, the season would do well.
I have to put Johnny on blast for a minute. But Johnny is a complete ****, I've got to say, and I cannot stress that enough. Idk if he realized that him being scared of a girl and leaving the house would be aired on national television or not but he is a *****. Way to make us people from Boston look tough. If he "feared for his safety" on the Real World, he probably should not take his chances on a challenge. Could you imagine Johnny quitting a challenge because he got scared when CT raised his voice. I saw someone on here screenshot a tweet from Johnny being upset that he wasn't casted for this challenge. Well maybe the reason why other than you not having a male Rival is because you just showed that you are a scared ***** who can't handle when people get aggressive. One person out of 7 made you scared so you leave? Well with 31 other people in a house that are far more agressive than Nia, I doubt you'd be able to hang in the challenge environment, moron. Boston Strong, baby! Obviously Johnny is not.
I have to put Johnny on blast for a minute. But Johnny is a complete ****,
Every once in a while it pays to do research before putting one's foot in one's mouth. Jordan's "Afterbuzz" interview tells it differently. But, if you elect to ignore Jordan's view because he might have a bias, then there is a blogger who attended the reunion and have interviewed most of the Portland cast. The blog is here: Bus Driver's Route: Your Guide to the World of Sports and Television If you can't admit, in the face of overwhelming evidence, that you have been duped by the show edit and attached yourself to the wrong "star," then you are likely a lost Portland soul for whom some of us shall simply have to feel sorry.

Johnny is still a ***** IMO.

They only showed about 35 minutes out of 7 hours of footage.
The average viewer isnt going to do "research" on a failing reality show. Johnny is still a ***** IMO.
I think there's more to it than that and you have to read between the lines. This girl, who's substantially bigger and heavier than your girlfriend walked up to her and cranked her in the back of the head, told her that she would beat her up in her sleep, and get people around Portland to jump her. If that were me I'd want my girlfriend out of there so she doesn't have to worry about it. Nia hit Johnny with a fist about 18 times and then again with a blowdryer wrapped in a wire and it didn't even faze him. He covered up, took it, and moved on. I doubt Johnny was afraid of Nia...he plays hockey in a beer league in Boston, I doubt any hits she can give him bother him. I think he had to sell it to Averey that he was afraid for both of them so it didn't look like she was weak and he needed to "save" her by keeping her away. When you're dealing with a stubborn person sometimes you have to tell them that you're doing something for yourself so you can convince them to go along with what's best for them when they normally wouldn't. I find it hard to believe that Averey would've just gone and things probably would've escalated to a much more dangerous level for her if they hadn't.

When there was drama, it wasn't just from fights within the house. Sarah's abusive dad trying to keep in touch with her, Ryan being called back into the Army, Katelynn coming out to everybody; all were really entertaining to witness. Plus it was so much more fun to watch Chet and Ryan's bromance as opposed to Nia wailing on Johnny, in my opinion. It kept the 'real' in Real World. This season just felt fake and forced due to Nia. (But I'm not complaining because without her this season would have failed)
The average viewer isnt going to do "research" on a failing reality show. Johnny is still a ***** IMO.
And, thus, for those of who have spent perhaps 15 minutes doing the research, you come off looking a bit foolish. If that is how you wish to be perceived, then so be it. By the way, just how many times did you try out for this "fake reality show?"
The average viewer isnt going to do "research" on a failing reality show. Johnny is still a ***** IMO.
Since when is anyone who reads Vevmo an "average viewer". We all do our research here, unless Molds gets to it first.

The camera would have followed them. When someone states their intention to do bodily harm (without relief) anyone in the house ...HELLO...it ruins the house for EVERYONE living there no matter if they are the stated target or not. dummies. Johnny and Averey were absolutely right and smart to leave that HELL hole and the abusive out of control maniac should be happy he did. IMO if he was afraid of anything it was what he would do to her if he really snapped.

Its a ******* reality TV show. You really think production would let Nia getting away with some black gangsta chick bringing her wannabe *********er homies into the real world to jump people. And look what happened when Nia's "dawg" had the opportunity at Marlon's concert to jump Jordan, he didn't do ****. Please. This is an MTV reality show not the Rodney King riots.
That's because Dom had second thoughts but I'm not sure whether or not that was before or after Marlon talked to him.
That's because Dom had second thoughts but I'm not sure whether or not that was before or after Marlon talked to him.
It's because much like Nia, he's full of ****. All talk
Okay..I want to give my full opinion on this. Johnny deserved what he got on the count of him thowing that drink on her and throwing that tissue on her. But Nia took it too far when she started hitting him with that blow dryer. And that's when I commend Avery for stepping in. I liked that she wasn't gonna just let her man get beat upon. She let Nia have it and I'm glad she did it. I think it was kinda cowardly for none of the nobody(except Jordan) to vote on wether Nia should stay or go. The girl threatened to beat their ***** everyday. Nia needed to go but nobody stepped up so I don't think that they had any right to be sad of feel any kind of way about Johnny/Avery leaving..they could've stopped it. Nia should've never brought that trainer guy into this. I don't think he ever wanted to fight anyone really. And that conversation that Nia/Jordan had should've been between Nia/Jordan only I don't think he needed to be there..But I suppose Nia brought him into this mess so whatever. What Anastacia did with the cones was nice and sweet. One of the few good things about this episode.
I can't believe Jordan and Nia are cool now. Jordan must be a better guy than I thought. I couldn't be cool with someone who tried to get me beat up and told horrible lies about me. Does anyone think things would have been better between Averey and Nia if she hadn't been coupled up with Johnny? Johnny's more immature than Averey, and he did things in that fight like throw snot at Nia. Averey and Nia only fought because she was defending her man. Nia even said on the reunion that in the beginning of that dog **** argument, Averey didn't even want to be in it.
I feel like it would have been avoided, yes.

Averey is the typical heifer who thinks she's the hot **** because she got into one fisticuff. She DID NOT beat Nia up and not by a mile. Her getting knocked up side the head was funny and she should've been kept her eye open. As for living in the hotel, both her and Johnny are punks.
She let Nia have it and I'm glad she did it.
I can't help but laugh at this.
Averey might not have beat Nia up, but I'd argue that if anybody "won" that fight, it was her. They're right. Averey's a 5'7 120 lb girl and Nia's an Amazon. Nia was the one with a fat lip and her weave on the ground.
I can't help but laugh at this.
Laugh? It's quite clear the only reason Nia snuck up on Averey, for a pansy cheap shot after the fact, was because she knew she was bested in the previous encounter.
