That was an actual issue Ayiiia dealt with so those instances aren't even comparable.
Ryan's sexuality (whatever it may be) is an issue he seems to have some trouble with, judging by his reaction to being kissed by a gay person and the way he mentioned people automatically assuming he is gay for being a hairdresser. Ayiiia's cutting is an issue that we saw her deal with on her season of RW. She made several (seemingly unprovoked) personal potshots at Ryan, so he insulted her back. They are both obviously immature and petty, but it is hypocritical to forgive Ayiiia for the things she said and condemn Ryan for the ONE thing he said in response. They are both *******s.
They had to bleep out her *** when she was on the bull. That was a short dress. I'm not saying I don't think she should dress like that, but it was very revealing.
I don't think her dress was short at all. Sure, they had to blur her out when riding the mechanic whale, but I'm sure they'd have to blur out anyone wearing a skirt riding that thing no matter how short or long it was. I actually think that was quite long compared to most skirts girls wear these days.
Well, I think it might be safe to speculate no Ryan/Ayiiia alliances on any upcoming challenges. But I agree - neither one of them are really "good people" in my book.
I think Ayiiiiiiia was a ***** for tweeting what she did, but I find I find it odd that he (again allegedly) came out of the closet and then took it back. But I don't know anything about that topic so I'm going to leave my opinion at "That's peculiar." But IMO what Ryan said in response was worse. Telling someone who had cutting problems (or someone who possibly still has those issues) to hurt themselves is messed up, considering there is a chance they might actually do it. If she was found dead because she did slit her wrists the next day, how funny would he find his tweet? Having said that, I don't hate Ryan yet. Too early for me to have a strong opinion like that towards any of the roommates.

Then again that's a big deal to do and I don't blame him for not wanting to be open about it while cameras were there. This has happened before right? Stephen from RW Seattle 1998 anyone? Lol. And apparently Kevin from Back to New York as well.
Just so everyone knows Ryan does have a girlfriend.

Think about it: a legitimate straight man that is confident and COMFORTABLE in his own sexuality would never react like that to a gay guy giving him a friendly kiss. It's very evident that Ryan has some emotional issues.

It wouldn't involve insults, because that's not who I am, but it would probably involve me jerking away and saying "gross" or something to that effect, than telling my friends how violated I felt and how gross it was. If I kissed a woman in a bar unprompted I would expect the same reaction. It just falls outside of social norms. And buying her a drink and talking to her for 5 minutes wouldn't change that, unless the conversation was supercharged.

I don't think that it's anybodies right to say whether or not Ryan is gay. If he is then he clearly struggles with it and will come out when he's comfortable. Ayiiia is one of my favorite RWers ever, but she shouldn't be calling him out. On her show, she hadn't come out of the closet yet, either...
Ryan is an interesting person. He may be starting drama to get attention. I agree with what Knight said on the first episode. Ryan might be ADHD.

It's funny that he says he'd kill himself if a gay man touches him, especially since he's snuggling with Preston and playing with his ear in one of the latest dailies.
yeah, but would you say that you'll kill yourself if a gay man touches you?
Hyperbole (pronounced /haɪˈpɜrbəli/,[1] from ancient Greek ὑπερβολή 'exaggeration'), is a rhetorical device in which statements are exaggerated. It may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, but is not meant to be taken literally.
Ryan is an amazing casting choice. It would be a lot better if they had Joey from Cancun on the same season though
I love Ryan. He's honest, and people don't like that about him. When he's honest with someone they over react and cry about it. >_< I think he brings a lot of personality to the show.

Very acceptable and very mature. Besides, he was the one who was picking a fight after that.

But I do agree, he is very good for the show.

I think Ryan is more interesting than some of the others on the show at first blush.
Kind of interesting... After looking at his twitter account, it seems that he's not following any of his fellow cast members. Perhaps due to a falling out or some drama? Usually most of the RW kids come home and link up via social networking sites.

It's obvious that he's fake and putting on a show. But I sort of relate to him in one weird way when I was watching the Dailies... I have an ear fetish-type of thing that he does. I can't help but to play with/touch my friends ears or mine in public. :x
