I'm going to make my best guess and say that production took up that whole floor, (maybe the one above and/or below too) but I'm not sure. Production requires a lot of space and I KNOW the RW kids are extremely loud. No one wants to stay on the same floor as that.
Do you realize how much that would cost BMP and the Hard Rock? BTW...I am fairly confident that the 11th floor is the top floor at the Hard Rock, so no one was above them.

They would run cables through chases in the walls, and maybe ceilings, and set up next door. I doubt they do a lot of wireless feeds for fear someone would tap into their feeds or content would be lost by interference. My guess would be that they were occupying that end of the floor, (they may have put a few buffer rooms in between) and then book out the other rooms as need be. I am sure the hotel is fairly soundproof as they book a lot of conventions and events there and have quite the noisy crowd beyond just TRW kids. I highly doubt the hotel would let them bust through the concrete between floors to be above or below, and that hotel appears to be pretty long so there is no way they would have bought out the entire floor.
I still love The Real World, but maybe I'm getting to old to enjoy The Adventures of Belligerent Tools. :sadwalk:
I'm clearly within the demographic that The Real World shoots for and I'm completely over that story line already. There is only a certain amount of times that I can handle watching someone be a complete ***hole.

Im liking the season so far..but Nany drove me crazzzzzy this episode. Adam said himself he was waiting to drop the "juvi" card because he knew it would impress her in some way. Welll...she ATE IT UP! She literally was eating out of his hands the whole ep. Oh and btw...how funny was Adams face when his girl made him say I love you back? So funny!
HOLLERRRR. Thought I'd check in. HA! Those tags are hysterical! Not a bad season so far - it actually has some substance, which I'm surprised at. I know this was probably talked about elsewhere, but I thought BMP does background checks and such - how is it that lawyers/insurance would allow someone like Adam to be on? Dude's crazy. I'm guessing he gets drunk again and gets kicked out.
Maybe this is who he is. Some people build walls to keep others out. I suspect Adam builds wall to challenge people to see who he thinks is worthy enough to get in, if that makes any sense. He is not going to let anybody in unless they prove themselves tenfold. I've seen this in people before--unless they like him unconditionally he is not going to ever let them in.
Getting drunk and a little crazy isn't THAT bad; it's his damn attitude about everything that's ******* people off. I understand being selective about who you let into your life but he doesn't seem to compromise at all. It'd be one thing if he was working to change and screwed up every now and then. At least he'd realize he's not flawless and was working to better himself. Why should anyone let a one-sided childish ********* into their life? Can't complain about people not liking you if you don't give them a reason to.

Just pointing out I have seen people with this sort of attitude before. They are quite obnoxious to be around. Mike points out that he likes sober Adam and not drunk Adam so I assume that there was some positives to him when sober not shown.
Wow. Adam is playing Nani like a fiddle. I can't believe how bad she buys into that crap. It makes it impossible for me to have any respect for her. :( It's becoming more and more obvious that Mike, considering what he's been through, has more street cred than Adam. Leroy? Is awesome.
My thoughts exactly as I was watching the episode. Let me preface my thoughts on Adam by saying that I have NO idea about the area he grew up in or anything and I could be way off. But, I can't help but get this vibe that he didn't have it so hard growing up, he just likes playing the bad boy role. Back in the day when I was in HS i knew a lot punks that came from decent money and had good families but lovvvvved playing the drug dealer, bad boy role. Then when they get in trouble they act like they are such a bad a** and have had it so tough.

This was posted in Adams thread last year after we found out who he was:
I met Adam right before he went to juvi so I'll clear this up for you. He didn't shoot anyone. Adam used to roll in this wannabe gang that stole from drug dealers at gunpoint. They went to go rob a dealer one night and this retard oxy addict that Adam chilled with, decided to shot the guys dog. Pretty low... that's just a portion of the stupid $hit they used to do. Adam's chilled out a bit now, but I'll never forget him rolling around in his sister's VW Bug with a loaded .45 in his back pack...
:D
I did think it was funny when Adam was trying to paint it like he was the biggest drug dealer in the state at 14. That is pretty laughable and there is no way that would be true. Maine is getting to be like Kentucky--an epidemic of prescription drugs being sold illegally. There is no way a 14 year old is going to move a lot of product in a rural state like Maine.
This is all hilarious. Reminds me of the end of the movie Basketball Diaries..when Leo is saying how there are 2different type of druggies...people w money who play around being druggies but have their families to go to if things get too rough...and those who are on the streets because they really have it rough and have no where to go. Im going to say Adam is the first kind. (Not druggie, but a wannabe bad a** for sure!).
I don't think Adam has been even close to real yet. I doubt he was laughing because he was nervous when talking to Nani, he was probably laughing at his own act. You could tell by the way he told Nani he was in juvy that he was trying to make the moment as dramatic as possible lol. He just doesn't seem genuine to me in any way.

I did think it was funny when Adam was trying to paint it like he was the biggest drug dealer in the state at 14. His story about getting kicked out by the bouncers grows with every telling and I get the feeling his story about being the biggest drug dealer in his state at 14 is the same. Complete bull. I really hope Nany is watching these episodes and realising just how naive she must be to fall for all this. Adam even said he was saving the Juvi story knowing it would "seal the deal" which going by the highlights of next week it does. Adam is just doing what most 13 year olds do, act like the hard man with a complex hard luck story, while telling over the top stories. He also handles his drink about as well as a 13 year old. Mike is great he looked like a character from The Office during their interview. He manages funny, nerdy and street all at the same time. Good for Leroy too saying he doesn't care what Adams story is as it's no excuse for how he is acting. Also hoping this Adam stuff isn't dragged out to long. I'm not against having a little idiot time but the most annoying thing about NOLA was the fact the entire show was taken over by the least interesting person just because he annoyed people.

Adam just seems like an attention *****. I also find it hard to believe he was a "big drug dealer" at the age of 14 and went to juvi etc, but can't even handle his alcohol. To me, that doesn't go together. I'd quicker bet he's a punk like Clarence from 8 mile. Dustin means nothing to me, for some reason, I just don't find myself liking him or his personality, but I don't really dislike him either. He and Heather sound so scripted, it's ridiculous. (i.e, in their confessional together.) I like Naomi from the dailies but they really don't show much of her personality in these episodes. Need I say, this episode, I loved Leroy. Adam trying to push him was hilarious; he barely even budged, then manhandled Adam without hitting him. Loved it.
I hear a lot of "I hate Naomi"s and such, but I thoroughly enjoy her dopey confessionals. They really compensate for the boring overplayed Adam drama and gag-worthy Dustin Heather romance.
I hear a lot of "I hate Naomi"s and such, but I thoroughly enjoy her dopey confessionals. I really like her, but I mean, if you don't watch the dailies, you'd probably not even know much about her because they keep stressing this Adam thing which I hate. Wish they'd show more of her like they do on the dailies. Agreed about the Adam drama and Dustin/Heather romance. :puke:

It may be that I don't mind it as much because it won't go on all season like it did with TY in DC. I dig Naomi. She just has a good disposition so I am not sure why people hate on her. The female I least respect is Heather based on the show, the dailies, and the afterworlds--not sure why, but I feel like she has a hidden agenda.
Leroy talks about the show with Derrick and Johnny. talent network news: Derrick Kosinski Podcast w/ Johnny Bananas & Leroy from MTV Real World Las Vegas
Leroy says that the contract says they go home if they put their hands on someone. Is that new? Ty dropped Andrew off a balcony and stayed or did that not count because technically he didn't hit him lol
Leroy says that the contract says they go home if they put their hands on someone. Is that new? Ty dropped Andrew off a balcony and stayed or did that not count because technically he didn't hit him lol
Not new. The Andrew-Ty situation sort of played out on air. They basically let the others decide. Most of the cast thought if they let Ty stay they could then send him home if he didn't do what they wanted, but once they let him stay he got to stay. Andrew's position was he wasn't going to be a punk by sending Ty home, and I think that it was more that decision than the rest of the casts. That is sort of a deduced version based on what was said and shown. I think in the less obvious situations they defer to the cast to see if they feel in danger by what went down.
He may have been paraphrasing. Put a hand on = attack.
He may have been paraphrasing. Put a hand on = attack.
Agree because if that was the case then Adam would have been sent home already for pushing Leeroy, and it looks like Dustin/Mike get into it also and I never heard about them leaving.
