I'm beginning to really not like Dustin. I feel like he is using Heather and he just wants to get in her pants....I feel bad for Heather and I so hope she doesnt fall for it and doesnt sleep with him.
I prefer Adam over Dustin.
I don't think Adam has been even close to real yet. I doubt he was laughing because he was nervous when talking to Nani, he was probably laughing at his own act. You could tell by the way he told Nani he was in juvy that he was trying to make the moment as dramatic as possible lol. He just doesn't seem genuine to me in any way.
I've gotta say, Leroy is really growing on me. He's definitely not scared to tell people exactly what he wants them to hear. Although I guess being as jacked as he is, I wouldn't be scared either haha.
I get the feeling that Adam drinks excessively to hide who he really is. It seems like he's very insecure about something in his life, but he refuses to open up to anyone.
Not to mention, not being able to be yourself on a show called "The Real World" is a bit of an issue.

This is a very valid point. The only time he opened up on his own was when he was drunk. He seems to be the crying/angry drunk type.

Doo. Dah. Dippity.
Ha! My friend had that as his ringtone for a while...it was hilarious for the first five minutes.
I also don't mind show Adam as much as I mind aftershow Adam. Every other phrase "I'm Adam Royer" "That's who I am" "Accept me for who I am". If I didn't like Leroy and didn't want him to get kicked out I'd be hoping to see him swab the deck with this kid.
I might be way off on this, but what Adam did isn't a big deal.
He got drunk IN VEGAS and broke a few bottles.
People (including the cast) are looking too deep into this.
Maybe he has a drinking problem, but I wouldn't be able to tell, since I have only seen him drunk 2 times (edited)

Maybe this is who he is. Some people build walls to keep others out. I suspect Adam builds wall to challenge people to see who he thinks is worthy enough to get in, if that makes any sense. He is not going to let anybody in unless they prove themselves tenfold. I've seen this in people before--unless they like him unconditionally he is not going to ever let them in.

I don't think they're as pissed about the drinking as his refusal to admit fault to what he's doing. He was told to never do what he did in that one club ever again, and then he has to get taken out by security in this episode and almost gets into a fight because he's being an ******* about it. If he just came out and said "I'm an ******* and I'm sorry," I think they'd like him a little more.

If I could punch you in the face right now for putting that godforsaken song back in my head, I would...

I can see that, but who doesn't get drunk and do ****?? It shouldn't even be an issue. It just seems like they are putting him on blast for no reason.

They're pissed because Adam, in a sense, is representing himself, the rest of the roommates, and MTV when he is there. Him being wasted every single time he goes out, being unable to handle his liquor, and getting kicked out of clubs (in the hotel where he lives) regularly does not look good on him or the rest of the cast. That is why the cast is pissed that he is doing what he is doing.
Adam might say that he doesn't care what other people think about him and that he is who he is, but he should knowing that he isn't just representing himself.

Being drunk shouldn't be an excuse. Maybe an excuse once, but you should change that the next time. I think it's definitely an issue.
Leroy! Lol, I love his reaction to Adam's story...
I gotta say after seeing Leroy's thread with that tattoo sleeve thing, I was certain I would dislike him, but I've been pleasantly surprised. I swear this dude says what I'm thinking sometimes.
And even lil Naomi was more entertaining this episode

I definitely didn't like the sound of Leroy going in, but he's also growing on me.

I think you're giving him way too much credit. He doesn't care that much. He's just an ***.
Wow. Adam is playing Nani like a fiddle. I can't believe how bad she buys into that crap. It makes it impossible for me to have any respect for her. :( It's becoming more and more obvious that Mike, considering what he's been through, has more street cred than Adam.
Leroy? Is awesome.

I'd bet he's doing stuff that hasn't been shown for times sake, or whatever. From the clips shown he is completely out of it and unable to listen to or comprehend reason from his room mates. That plus what I'd describe as a criminal mindset probably creates a bad drunk.
There was an important piece of info this episode, that the cast has a deal with the club that Adam is clowning around in where the club gives them a VIP lounge and free drinks. That's a luxury that they don't want to lose because of his behavior.
Anyone notice how the confessional was located outside the suite in another hotel room?
Yep and I am glad. I got so sick of seasons where people eavesdropped on the confessionals all the time.
Yep and I am glad. I got so sick of seasons where people eavesdropped on the confessionals all the time.
Yeah, I thought the same thing! Its cool that they have a little more privacy. Im wondering if there was anyone staying in the other rooms on that floor at the time...
This is the first season in a while that I actually like the majority of the cast. Leroy is my favorite guy, Dustin and Mike seem like cool guys. Adam is a total tool and is the only cast member I don't care for. All the girls seem nice and are all pretty. There is usually one *****y girl I can;t stand but so far this season that doesn't seem to be the case.
Yeah, I thought the same thing! Its cool that they have a little more privacy. Im wondering if there was anyone staying in the other rooms on that floor at the time...
My guess would be yes as to the floor but production likely took up a good chunk of the adjoining spaces. For instance with DC that was a huge house but the cast only had access to part of it as all the equipment/production rooms took up the upstairs.
I think you're giving him way too much credit. He doesn't care that much. He's just an ***.
It's not something people do consciously. It is how their mind functions to protect their psyche.
Yeah, I thought the same thing! Its cool that they have a little more privacy. Im wondering if there was anyone staying in the other rooms on that floor at the time...
I'm going to make my best guess and say that production took up that whole floor, (maybe the one above and/or below too) but I'm not sure. Production requires a lot of space and I KNOW the RW kids are extremely loud. No one wants to stay on the same floor as that.
After watching the episode and the after-show, I'm really annoyed with their reasoning to be upset with Adam and his behavior, "We don't know you, you haven't opened up" is not a good or even valid reason. I think Leroy hit the nail on the head when he said that he doesn't want Adam to ruin their VIP/free drinks privilege and Adam's unstable behavior is causing Leroy to fall out with him and since he doesn't know the guy he doesn't care to keep him as a friend or even try to work through it.
Nany is pretty annoying to watch during the show because she's defending a belligerent drunk until the bitter end just because she's attracted to him. Who brakes a bottle of alcohol in their suite just because they overhear their roommates talking about them. Big whoop, people talk. I think Adam is really milking this RW thing, he knows he's on TV and he wants facetime and to be popular in my opinion so he's going to do whatever he can to be the spotlight on him. "Look at my America, I'm a tool!". But unfortunately, the degenerates of today love that behavior and it's working for him. That behavior also comes off as "being overdramatic, and seems poorly scripted" making the reality TV genre and even The Real World almost unbearable to watch, and again it's working because the Real World just renewed for another 2 seasons... :shout:
I still love The Real World, but maybe I'm getting to old to enjoy The Adventures of Belligerent Tools. :sadwalk:
