Yes, there were 4 or so crews. The roommates can get special permission (via the bat phone) to go to a friends for dinner. Or to the mall with her mom. But that would be on an individual basis, not as a group.
When out as a group there is no Bat Phone so they must ask production certain questions, ie: clearance for a certain place; protection from annoying stalkers; wanting to go separate directions.....
She is right. i have been told about this by a couple cast members. It is pointless to film the cast getting cigs or personal hygene. They do have what they call "normal time" lol

East NY has been on Vevmo since 2007. He's no rookie.

Well maybe expect that Child Predator show.. So do you guys think the the real world is fake? I don't care if its fake.. I will still watch the real world i've been watching the real world see the Austin, Texas season.. Its a entertaing show imo.. Anyways just sharing my thoughts adios.. :)
Dislike.
The Real World is fake, I mean Ty pushing Andrew off the porch is so scripted. I mean there were probably pillows at the bottom right? And before the camera men got there, all of the cast members hurried and helped them throw all of it away. Oh Danny getting punched on Austin, the aftermath of his eye was easily make up.

As much as I have issues with MTV and BMP as many know, this is not one of them. What you saw last Wed and what you will see the conclusion of in two days actually happened. Here are two pictures taken during construction. The hot tub was installed outside of the house in a below ground level patio. On the left is the wall of the house enclosing the stairs going up to the front entrance. It is from the top of this wall that Andrew fell. There were people passing by on the street who witnessed the fall and the arrival of the ambulance. There was at least one plant at the base of this wall that Andrew may have hit while falling, but there is no independent source who has said the plant "broke his fall." More than likely, it was the ground that stopped his fall. Ouch.

Hahahaha as much as we all want to believe the real world and other reality shows are fake, well they're not because most of the people have no acting skills. Most of the dramatic scenes and episodes are highly edited to entertain us, and basically most reality stars agree.

I would guess that since he appears to have been rolling off the rail, he probably was somewhat feet down when he landed and then toppled over when he hit. Who knows. I have seen drunks (&been the drunk) that have had some pretty crazy things happen and come out relatively unscathed.

*jots down notes on a notepad*
If true, however unlikely, it would be just cause as to why their ratings have gone down. I'm willing to place faith in the reality aspect of it only so far.
some if it is indeed staged, that's a fact, like in The Real World: Los Angeles, the producers asked Jon to hate Tami for getting an abortion, but he refused. Just like in any other reality show, producers will fabricate situations for ratings.
I'd say it's about 90-95% reality and 5-10% staged

I knew that already. I also knew that Andre's house in the original Real World was messed up by production and they called the cops about the noise level just create controversy. Hell, Julie from that show even said that they was always a great pressure to do something.
At some point BMP themselves have said that in the first season of RW that they have tried to leave things around the house to expose the cast members, which back fired on them. Since then, they have no involvement at all, the crew isn't even allowed to talk or respond to the cast members.
Johnny Reilly from Portland season stated that the vote thing was set up by the producers and not his/Avery's idea.
He and Averey had already moved out of the house and were forced to return by the producers. Marlon leaving during the fight was because he had to get ready for his gig and had nothing to do with Nia.

Not true. The cast interacts with the crew every time they leave the house with them. In other seasons, (Hollywood, the most visible example) during an episode the cast has talked to the production control room via the house phone. One would be daft to believe that those few times are the only times there has been any interaction.
I haven't believed a word BMP has said in a number of years, based upon my personal experiences as a manager, agent, and as a cast member's emergency contact.
The no-involvement thing is false through the first three seasons certainly when the cast broke into the production room inside the house each year. London, RW 4, was the first one to not do it and it has not been since as far as I can recall. Their plan may be for no interaction but "A plan is a list of events that never happens".
Jordan told on afterbuzz that he was approached by producers and they said it was 'ok' to fight into the house as long as both parties were ok with it. Johnny told Nia threatened the crew all the time.

Yes, this was all in their Bus Driver interviews on youtube. Nia also went after Averey and Johnny for 30 minutes throwing all sorts of drinks at them. The cameraman attaching Johnny's mic before he got hit in the head by Nia with the hair dryer even told he felt sorry for him because she was outside the door taunting him. Nia was threatening the cast and crew constantly and then would run off to go smoke marijuana. Fact is the police should have been called so she could get arrested.
