I've always thought the "Ole!" chant was an odd choice for a hockey game.
Well yeah, there's a huge Latino population in Florida ;)
That's awesome!
I like to pretend it was as awesome as it sounds. Really he just came down to my high school early to watch his daughter play a basketball game and decided to stop by the rink. We just happened to be on the ice at the time. I think varsity boys was going to play a game after us but it's nice to think that he was really interested in seeing how the JV girls practiced! ;)

The exact circumstance is not important. You can still say Ray watched you play!
Ok, game seven here we come. I'm very confident.

Very true! And it was pretty awesome.
I'm confident too. It wasn't a blow out. We still had life at the end and we get home ice for game 7.
AMAZING! I still haven't watched the game yet but now I will be able to sit back and enjoy it knowing I'll see my boys in the finals!
Lord Stanley here we come!
I can't wait to watch the Winnepeg Jets the sequel! LOL
It will be interesting if they can turn things around. Right now almost half the teams in the league are losing money. It's been good that things have been stable (as far as teams not moving in the last 10 years) but the hard reality might be that instead of moving teams now, the NHL should be buying and dissolving teams.
With a market of 800,000, Winnipeg barely has enough people to support the circus coming to town, let alone the NHL in 2011.
The Jets left for a reason...
Well, I guess in order to keep it in the "family", I should be cheering for Boston.
We all want to be friends however this turns out, right? Haha.
If there was another name in the Bruins goal tonight besides Tim Thomas, things would be very grim.
Something has to give here, it is all about who scores first.
Thomas played a great game. I'm going to blame this one on jet lag. The Bruins are sucking wind right now and there is no excuse for that, um - other than jet lag...
Well if we were going to lose I would rather lose like that than during an OT and just tire our guys out even more.
I think they were tired and too afraid of getting a penalty near the end that it just got away from them. We played well though so it isn't too big of a blow.

I thought we outmatched them for 90% of the game. I think good coaching will let us steal the next one in Vancouver as we hole up the weaknesses.
TIL Boston has more Canadian players on its team than Vancouver.
And I really wish they would stop cutting to a commercial every time Boston gets a penalty. I want to see the Green Men!!

Ironic, for sure.
I feel we are outmatched right now. If only we had more Russians!
