Susie and Adam if you are reading this I just want to say this........
YOU BOTH SUNK THE ROAD RULES SHIP WITH YOUR BULLSHIT! AND DIDNT EVEN GIVE THE NEW PEOPLE A CHANCE TO GET ON BOARD BECAUSE YOU NEEDED MONEY. YOU BOTH ARE PATHETHIC TO ME. TO ADAM I WISH YOU LUCK IN WHAT YOU DO, AND TO SUSIE FALL INTO OBSCURITY PLZ
Wow I got a little scared there...breathe in and out lol The Brady Bunch as some called them during VR were sometimes very lopsided in their voting, they took the safer path by voting in the same people over and over toward the end.

Susie has moved on, but I'll give her your love when next I talk to her. She is a PhD candidate in Theology in Pittsburg.
BTW, the objective was to keep the new people from getting on the RV. Overall, I thought they did well in that respect, and I am happy to have had my fingers in the pie, so to speak.

Which is partially why the show tanked.
Actually had Tori not coldly betrayed her brethren I think it would have been a much more enjoyable season.
Truth is, BMP went about it all wrong trying to be all newfangled and web two point Ohhhhh!!!!!!1!
It should have been Rookies vs. Vets in separate RV's battling it out at each "mission" (dispersed across the United States, not just LA) for the cash (like the first challenge) instead of what we got.
They should seriously consider hiring me. Just dug into the "old idea bank" and pulled out a hybrid winner. How in the world did they miss the boat as badly as they did with RRVR? Sheesh!
As horrible as Viewers Revenge was, I will admit I was (one of the few) who still got comletely sucked in. I was constantly checking the site for when their blogs got posted, and constantly myspace stalking to see if we could tell who won or lost in the Pit. It was ******, but it still held some entertainment value for me.

I did enjoy the dynamic feel and live spoiler hunting. People from all over would send cell phone pictures of sitings and we were always on the hunt to figure out what they did for the mission in a given week.
The cast interaction was great and it was interesting to see how the viewer feedback affected how they acted on the show.
I think that the "almost real time" idea was great and I'd watch a similarly formated show, done right (see above.)
There might be a Fresh Meat 2 somewhere down the line if they feel the need to add more people to the challenge. Clearly they seem to do formats multiple times such as the Gauntlet, Inferno, Battle of Sexes, etc. So it could be possible that there will be another one.

nah just send her my best wishes ;]
BTW EVERYONE I WAS VENTING MY FRUSTRATIONS FROM THAT ABOMINATION OF A ROAD RULES
I wasn't a fan of Susie or Adam at all during RRVR. I'll admit I have a soft spot for Kina though.
I have nothing against Tori, but I can see why she bugs people. I'm not her biggest fan or anything, but I actually do like her.
Oh, and I think Fresh Meat 2 would be a terrible idea. Not trying to knock the poster that asked about it, but I just don't see how that would bring any good to us at all haha. (Afterall, look what the first one gave us. I'm looking at you, Kenny and Evan. ;))
Honestly I'd like to see new formats rather than the 50th edition of the Inferno. And I wouldn't mind seeing Road Rules return if they did it right this time around. Maybe it was just because the ones that we didn't like were in a power position for most of the season.

Horse. Dead. Beaten. Buried. ;)
LoL sorry...um, analogy for the topic of road rules being brought back as we've gone round and round and V1Man and Bacchus explained pretty good how it wouldn't work anymore. Check earlier in the thread I think..... :)

Yeah I know it probably won't return but I was just thinking out loud mostly lol

Way too much to read. I'm crazy lazy.
How wouldn't it work anymore?
I thought by "dead and buried" you meant "we all want it to come back...just in its original format"
I thought by "dead and buried" you meant "we all want it to come back...just in its original format"
The original format would not work today. That is why they went with the new format last go around. Staged shows like "The Hills" bring "reality" to a new level. Who wants actuality when you can have scripted real-like stuff that is 10x more dramatic? (besides us old timers.)
Road Rules is dead and buried, like in the grave and the corpse has returned to the earth, dead and buried....
On that note, BMP has removed all reference to Road Rules from their website.
RIP

oooooooh interesting! did not know that!
Ah that is sad even though it was well known that it probably would never come back. What a great series it was and I definitely have missed it but hey at least we have the challenge and the Real World still kicking. Wonder if this means we'll see Fresh Meat 2 now since they don't have two shows turning out challenge hopefuls
I WONDER IF BMP EVER THOUGHT OF THIS:
If they did fresh meat only the twist is that there would be 2 teams of six competing ala road rules face off style(having their own show instead of it being a challenge so we could get to for a bond with some ppl). At the end one team would win.

Bite your tongue! :D

Please. No Fresh Meat 2. They may have toresort to it because they won't have enough cast members, but I would be extremely upset if they had to do that.
I liked Road Rules a lot. It sucks to see it get cancelled, but after Viewer's Revenge it deserved to.

Actually I wouldn't mind it if they did another Fresh Meat, there are some out of the newbies that I actually liked(and ended up disliking). It's just I would just like to see more brand new formats rather than the same old ones but that doesn't mean I wouldn't watch it.
Honestly it is probably for the best that Road Rules was cancelled at the end of the day. Because while I'd like to see it back, I don't want a cheap version of it just to have it back...I would rather have it gone with lots of good memories and a few bad ones than with a bunch of ****** ones.

I agree that I would rather see a new format than the same old format, but I just didn't like the Fresh Meat format. I would rather have them do the same thing, but a different format. No pairs of two.
