'Mean Girls' Director Set for '#Catfight'

The protagonist is Lucy, an insecure high school girl with a single mom who earns a scholarship to an elite private high school for her senior year and attempts to reinvent herself by hiding a past she wants to put behind her. On the day of her recruitment interview with her dream college, she finds out the boy she is dating has a psychotic ex-girlfriend. She has just come back from juvie that morning to challenge the college-bound girl to a fight after school. She tries to get her college admissions work behind her and keep up the prep school facade, before this showdown. Maybe she also can take down this maniacal rival and score one for bullied kids everywhere.

So I just watched Nightcrawler and it exceeded my expectations, and that's saying a lot since they were already high.

Glad I am not the only one who really enjoyed this movie.

Bette Middler & Co-Stars Are Up for 'Hocus Pocus 2'

Now it's up to Disney, who I have little faith in.

Though I love Hocus Pocus, I don't know how to feel about this.

What's everybody's favorite movie scenes?

I'm a real cheesedick and this one gets me every time. My love of Keira Knightley, the emotional score, the conclusion to one of the best overarching love story narratives Disney has ever had. It's perfection.

oh thats EASYYYY Blum 3

The Sandlot. <3

Does the entirety of The Goonies count as one scene?

I cringe every time remake/reboot/sequel talks pop up.

The Goonies is one of the greatest films ever made. Also, I ******* adore Matilda.

Just saw Interstellar... wow.

I swear I have seen it like a hundred times lol

I'll start off with saying that it was maybe too long... okay yes, it was too long... but it was good. SO good! Very interesting plot with some really neat and cool twists... the depiction of space and other planets is amazing.. a visual spectacle! The acting is top notch, and the directing is as always fantastic by Nolan. I can't really say much about the plot without giving anything away, but it is very grandiose and asks some pretty thought-provoking questions... but like I said... there was at least half an hour to an hour that was uneeded. I did find myself getting pretty bored here and there for the first 2 hours... the last hour is just fantastic though... not at all what I expected! Some didn't like its unbelieveable boldness, but I enjoyed it!! haha Not my favourite Nolan piece, but hardly short of spectacular.

So on that note would you recommend seeing it in theaters or waiting for dvd since it is so long??

if you like visuals and amazing cinemetography then definitely see it in theatres! If you prefer a fast-paced to the point plot then save it for home... if you just want to see a great film then either or... just depends on your attention span Blum 3

Thanks for all the info Mitch it helps. Even know 3 hours sounds way to long I will probably end up seeing it anyway because my brother is dying to see it & I told him I would see it with him.

I have a film analysis paper due this week, thought it would be a perfect time to watch Westworld! Hopefully it satiates and momentarily halts my withdrawal symptoms from the lack of news we've been getting on the series, hahaha!

IMAX is a must for it.  The space shots are just awesome, even if computer generated.
