My all time favorite James Cameron movie of the 80s is The Abyss.  As much as everybody had a real bad time making it; especially Ed Harris and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio who have both gone on record saying they hate the film; it was more or less the first time Jim tested the boundaries of aquatic special effects.  As for the 90s, I owe it all to Titanic for introducing me to the director's craft.

Been rewatching 2000's teen movies and we failed Lindsay Lohan.

Sis gave us Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Freaky Friday, and Mean Girls

Freaky Friday was great. Punk rock looking Lindsay was a good look.

Hollow Man and TIM were top notch ******* incredible suspenseful *** movies. I hated how she killed him in TIM though.

And Hollow Man 2 stunk funky

I watched Lightyear on Disney+ and fell asleep

I watched Orphan Kills prequel without watching the original it was really good and a fun twist.

is Orphan like super scary? I want to watch it but scary movies mortify me. I haven't seen a scary movie since When a Stranger Calls came out in theatre when I was in middle school. Wait I did see a movie called Ouiji in theater, but I don't remember it at all because I was black out drunk smh.

Not at all, no junpscares either nor would I say it's a thriller. I never felt on edge or anxious. It was just a gory dramatic very entertaining storyline about a 31 year old dwarf psychward patient that escaped, stole a child's identity and pretending to be that child, and killing everyone who finds out about her and then TJ Lavin comes in half way with a twist to shake up the game

Ouija was cool but decent. Orphan prequel seems redundant

Not TJ Lavin LOL! But I will give it a shot! I'm putting my faith in you.

Bodies Bodies Bodies is one of the best dark comedy/horror satires of a modern generation since Scream. Hilarious and twisty with an excellent score and great acting all around. And the final twist had me on the floor. So good!!!

The very first time I saw a Mighty Ducks live action film was the third and I somewhat enjoyed how I identified with Joshua Jackson was feeling with everything that made sense in his life primarily playing hockey with the Ducks due to the first film's mentor figure dying and not feeling used to the defense approach by the next coach after the usual Pee Wee method that served well in the first two films was not working.

I heavy duty forgot all about this.

As much as I did Scream, back in the day I was more privy to the "semi serious" slashers like IKWYDLS, Urban Legend, and Valentine.  Valentine was even shown in the movile Malibu's Most Wanted where Jamie Kennedy as a wannabe rapper loses it when the killer shows up and surprises the victim who later voiced Yuna in FFX and yells out "RUN *****!!!!  RUN FOR YO LIFE!  HE GON KILL YOU!!!

Valentine was haaaaaaaated back in the day...I was and am one of the loyal fans who stood by it through thick and thin. And the soundtrack plus. CAULFIELD from White Chicks was Bae

Denise Richards was so sexy in Valentine.  I saw her before in The World is Not Enough and a few years later after those two films in Starship Troopers.  So glad she was the one who ended up with James Bond.

Pretty much the majority of shark movie fans are in the agreement that besides the first Jaws film, 1999's Deep Blue Sea was the only one who came close to matching that intensity of suspense and carnage.  Besides, who could ever forget Samuel L. Jackson's final speech?

Recently I felt that in the first Fast and Furious movie that Dom and Letty being a couple didn't feel real.  Aside from short chats and makeout sessions, nothing concrete was there and it took six films for there to really be anything actually there.

Just watched Legally Blonde for the first time and THAT is cinema

Haven't seen it fully yet but I laugh whenever I see Luke Wilson tricking Mr. Salvatore to reveal he has a boyfriend named Chuck and especially when Salvatore claims Chuck is just a friend and Chuck gets up and yells "YOU *****!!!"

id say The Shallows was a pretty good shark movie! Very intense and didn't waste any time from start to finish. Textbook thriller

Shark Attack with Casper Van Dien good too.

Top Gun 2 is good but too late

Not only is Shark Attack 3 Megalodon self aware that it is corny with it's special effects but also John Barrowman using his ad lib to get a legit reaction out of the actress being "What do you say I take you home and eat your *****?".

Open Water was a bittersweet story about a couple stranded in shark infested waters.  While i was sure of and proven that the husband would die, I thought the wife would be spared but it sadly go for the feels as she removes her weights and goes below waiting to be devoured.

Seems ironic in a way that even though the Paul W.S. Anderson world of six Resident Evil movie with Milla Jovovich as Alice and boy did they really milk that "My name is Alice" well dry would turn out to be far more entertaining than the reboot helmed by Johannes Roberts who rightfully earned his success with the 47 Meters Down shark movies yet couldn't have lightning strike thrice with Welcome to Raccoon City.

I didnt like NOPE.... like the acting was great but the premise was dumb to me.. ..the whole part about the monkey was more interesting than the movie

My least favorite Saw movie is "The Final Chapter" which felt more like a fanfiction than an actual movie.  For example, if Dr. Gordon did survive and recover why didn't he tell John that Adam was still in the bathroom and that Gordon promised to bring help to him but it turned out to be Amanda who mercy killed him.  The only amusing trap was in the beginning with the public witnessing a bros before **** outcome.

And as for Bobby's game, he really sucked in getting anyone out, even proving he was worthy of his self described trap he "escaped" from.

honestly nothing from the trailer made me want to watch it, and you're not the first person i know to give it a bad review

Anaconda is one of my favorites even if one of the three survivors was unconscious for most of it.
