IDK all kookiness, antics and accusations aside, he was a musical genius who's impact on America was immeasurable. Whether I think he was guilty or not doesn't matter anymore, I am sad for his family and children.
Yes, me too. Your right, and I wasn't trying to take anything away from his accomplishments, but I guess it's just not the time for my opinions...
MTV is actually play music videos right now (shocker!) so go on over and check out some of MJ's best if you want. "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" is playing right now.

His death is just so random, and out of the blue, which is why it is a bit more shocking I think.

I had to cover my eyes when the one guy spit up blood every time. Still creeps me out and I like scary movies!
The actual song Thriller ;) Well SHUT MY MOUTH!! It just started on the radio....hee!
No the radio station:)
His death is just so random, and out of the blue, which is why it is a bit more shocking I think.
Agreed, we all had time to almost mourn and kind of find closure for the upcoming and expected deaths of Ed and Farrah but the surprise and abruptness of Michaels death is, like you said, very shocking. Okay, MTV is playing "The Way You Make Me Feel", I am going to go enjoy my favorite Michael tune...
No the radio station
Oh LMAO I thought you were asking which song on the Thriller CD. It's 93.7 the Beat :)
Wow This was so Random and out of the blue. Micheal may have had his problems and people accusing him of so much but in the end he was a DAMN good entertainer who made some unfogettable pop music. He's an Icon and NOBODY can take that away from him. R.I.P Micheal.
And he was just about to do a huge tour.

michael jackson true musical icon for any age any race heck anyone. i say we all remember his life not his death and let him live on through his music and his love for everyone. He was one of a kind. we will miss you.
He was an amazing performer.
I was so shocked when I found out. My fiance called me and told me and I didn't believe it. No matter how I personally feel about his personal life, I am still sad. He was a musical legend and I can't believe he is gone.
RIP MJ. Your legacy will live on forever.
RIP MJ. No matter peoples opinions of him, he a true musical legend. Mozart, Elvis, the Beatles, Micheal Jackson, Madonna. He was a nice man with a sincere dream and talent he shared with his family. I wish the family the best and hope they get the proper time to grieve.
RIP MJ. Music will not be the same without one of its biggest legends.
I just finished watching Michael's Man in The Mirror video, which happens to be my favorite MJ song. The video is amazing, and you get chills throughout the whole thing.
It really is sad to hear about Michael Jackson. All jokes aside he made some really good music in his time and the impact he made will last forever. It's even sadder looking back as he was so successful and he fell hard I think in his later years. Still he will be missed.
Michael Jackson was a legend. I grew up with his music, from the Jackson 5 through his solo career. I truly believe he made MTV into the power it is today. I wonder if we would all be here blogging about TRW, and the challenges if not for MJ.

I am ready to unplug my TV. Enough MJ news. There are actually other things going on in the world. Important things. Sorry if I sound cold...

Here's my take on the whole thing... A couple of months ago if there was a topic about MJ half the comments would probably be how sick and perverted he was. Yes he makes good music but nobody gave a care before, why now? Everyone thought he was creepy and now that he passed everyone's all like "I'm so sad! The king of pop died!". I love his music but I'm not going to sit here and drown my sorrows in watching MJ videos. Yes, its sad, but really, I didn't think about him on regular basis before and I'm not going to now.

I think it is sad, but a day is enough. Honestly.
I am ready to unplug my TV. Enough MJ news. There are actually other things going on in the world. Important things. Sorry if I sound cold...
Yeah but those "important things" don't get ratings/make money or a Million miles away so people don't care enough.

My main issue is that I pay for niche channels. Yes, every single channel be it E! or MTV. They are all tacked on to my bill as a monthly fee that is packaged together by my provider. If you have cable or satellite, you are also paying. So when I flip it on CNN. I want news, not MJ. Alive or dead I haven't cared about Michael Jackson since the 80's and I don't plan to start now. Over the air channels are one thing as they are paid for by commercials alone. Cable channels are a choice and they are subsidized by me. Don't worry. I've already complained...
