I just read this from Lea's Teen Choice Awards Speech:
"I wanted to dedicate this award to Cory. For all of you out there who loved and admired Cory as much as I did, I promise that with your love, we're gonna get through this together. He was very special to me and also to the world, and we were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, his handsome smile and his beautiful, beautiful heart."
Just reading that made me tear-up bit. She has no choice but to be strong and carry on, in the public eye. I definitely do not envy her. :(
I feel for Lea and I still don't know if I'm gonna watch the show. I didn't watch 8 simple rules after John Ritter Died.
I don't know how she will do it.
You should still watch it. The show was bigger than him. It's a decent ensemble cast. At least the older people anyway.
I know this show is pretty irrelevant nowadays, but i'm sticking it out for the final season which begins next week. So far i'm impressed with the first full performance (of the originals) released.... mostly because its one of my fav 80s songs.
Anyone keeping up with the final season?? It's actually the best Glee has been since maybe Season 2!! Great music!! Great new characters, that actually have personalities... and the whole comedy satire-ness from the original 13 eps is back in full force!! They are really going out with a bang in the last season. Didn't think they could do it, but hats off to the writers... the show is actually funny again!!! Really making me nostalgic about the whole show.. Glee was great back in it's prime. Definitely a show that helped me come in to my own in HS and afterwards. Only 3 eps left EVERR (well 4 technically, but the last 2 are the series finale)
The last episode I watched was "The Quarterback". After that, I felt like I couldn't watch anymore. I used to be obsessed with this show! I'll check out the finale. It sucks that I haven't been keeping up because my friend just told me that this final season has been pretty good.
Well it's before the original 5 formed the new glee club (Rachel, Kurt, Artie, Tina, Mercedes)... which was a month or so before Finn joined. I've heard that they may use some old scenes of Finn, but I don't think it's too important for us to see how he met them... since we already saw that anyways... lol
This episode will just be about how Will formed the new glee club after Sandy left.
Definitely emptied my tear ducts after that finale!!!! What a perfect send off!! Could not stop crying and smiling. Oh i'm such a sap... but Glee was definitely a great show. It had its ups and downs along the way, but the message it continued to spread was always that of positivity and friendship. Really gonna miss that show!! Couldn't have ended any better
Glee wasn't a TV show. It was a feeling. And more than that, it changed lives.
i really hope they miraculously find Naya alive...her poor son. Does anyone know her personal life ie, does she usually take boats out by herself? That doesn't seem something a celebrity typically does but I know nothing of her personal life so I dont want to speculate.

thoughts and prayers to her family.
ut has been a recovery mission basically from the start so....
The whole story is suspicious to me I hate to say it. I watch ALOT of Law & Order SVU and have been for the last week and I have a couple theories on this whole story. So I'm interested to see how it all plays out.

lol how. Her son said they were swimming and she never came back up
Ive read articles saying they both jumped in, and that only she jumped in. Theres little confirmed information other than that she was familiar with the water and her son was with her and found asleep on the boat after the boat was overdue to be back. No foul play assumed. Her sons almost 5, so yes he can speak but its also possible that hes not sure exactly and is still trying to process what happened. I do think at this point that she drowned, sadly.
questions I have (dont attack me, just throwing it out there)
*was the boat anchored when found? (Ie did she purposely anchor it so they could swim, or was there possibly an accident? Maybe she forgot to anchor it when she jumped in and she hit her head on the boat? From what Ive read, these boats can move pretty quickly just floating)
*did he jump in/fall off the boat and she went in after him, hence maybe why she didnt wear a lifejacket? So maybe it was just swimming to him, but she went in to save him and got caught up?
*why go out with just the two of them? (This may have just been a bad judgment call, so I dont want to come off as shaming her but people drown in oceans, lakes, and ponds and this lake was well known for drownings)
*did they actually both get in the water? If so- How did he get back on the boat? Ive heard mixed opinions on this ---that a nearly 5 year old would need assistance getting out, -these boats usually have a ladder so there wouldnt be an issue
*why such a big boat for the two of them? Easier to manuever? only type of boat left?
everyone tells me to watch glee and i haven't yet... maybe i'll start today. that aside tho, the story is sad as hell.
I saw some video on YouTube today (in spanish) that how some of the storylines some of their characters went through were predictions of things that happenned to them later on in real life.
I never really watched this either so I think I will give a shot too

Oh yeah. Like Cory's father's story line and the **** thing.

and in the Cory tribute episode, Naya sang the song "If I Die Young" which includes the lyrics "sink me in the river at dawn" ... so eerie.

she was on a pontoon why would she anchor it and how can she anchor it with it 30 ft deep.

Also seeing as season 6 will mostly revolve around the originals, I don't think it'll too much of a trainwreck as 4&5.
Lea is really a strong girl. Glee is really one of my favorite TV shows.
Of all the feelings to base a show on...Glee. Thirst. That's a show I'd watch.

I'm kind of mad they did a flashback episode, what are they going to say about where finn is? Its just weird for them to go back in time

I do think it would be a miracle to find her alive at this point but Im trying to think positive for her sons sake. That will mess him up for life.
this whole story is so tragic and heartbreaking :(
I am completely heart broken... I just can't believe this is happening.

Agree... my gut is saying she is not in that water.
lol how. Her son said they were swimming and she never came back up
We don't know how true that is
