V1Man, in general, how much reunion footage is shot that doesn't make it to air?
Interesting question... I wasn't in NY for this one, but based upon my past reunion show experience, I'd say we were in the studio for a little over two hours, maybe 2 1/2 for The Duel. The actual edited running time before commercials is about 43 minutes. Granted, they are not recording the entire time, but the cast and audience are there throughout. Frequently, when the red light on the camera is off, cast members will say things to the audience or to each other that are more interesting than what airs later. That happened during the G3 shoot, too, according to someone who sat immediately in front of Evelyn in the audience.

Well that's...frustrating. Hee. Maybe after the reunion airs, we'll hear a little more about other things that happened.

Hey....wait a second! You are not allowed to drop a teaser like that and then not share! ;)

I was thinking the same thing!!

The discussion in question involved someone who has not, to my knowledge, signed a release. I'm "old school." I believe in privacy rights even in the face of a cast member who for his/her own personal pleasure and amusement trod on something entirely not his/her business. I won't be talking about it after the runion unless I know a release was signed -- just my personal standard of conduct.

But you'll talk about other stuff, right? ;)

I'll be happy to tell you for hours on end how much I detest people whose motivation to throw a mission is greed. Here is the short version in the words of people far more elequent and accomplished than I:
One man practicing good sportsmanship is far better than 50 others preaching it.
— Knute Rockne, football coach
I never thought about losing, but now that it’s happened, the only thing is to do it right.
— Muhammad Ali, boxer
Once you learn to quit, it becomes a habit.
— Vince Lombardi, football coach
When the game is over, it is really just beginning.
— Jerry Kramer, football player
When the Great Scorer comes to mark against your name,
He writes not that you won or lost, but how you played the Game.
— Grantland Rice, sportswriter
I love the Ali quote. Yeah...all the throwing has made this season terrible. And I KNEW it was gonna happen this way once we found out that the missions don't each have a price tag. We really need that 10G increment per mission.

Filming was a lot longer than previous reunions have been. Following the reunion, a preview of Real World: Hollywood was shown.
Lyndsey [the new Australian VJ who hosts TRL and also hosted the Sydney reunion] was the host.
Cast who attended:
Brad
Eric
Rachel
Coral
Frank
Nehemiah
Ev
Tori
Jillian
Evan
Katie
Johanna
Kenny
Paula
Tidbits:
-Everyone was mad at Eric. He doesn't speak to many castmembers anymore and he fought with a lot of them today because they said he didn't deserve to be there.
-Frank & Tori are ok now. It was shown to be more than it actually was on TV.
-In true Katie fashion, she was cursing the entire time.
-Coral & Ev fought a lot, but much of it was done while they were showing clips on the big screen and the cameras weren't on them
-Katie was livid at Evan and she yelled at him a lot.
-Coral & Evan fought a little.
-Ev & Eric fought a little.
-Nehemiah & Evan fought a little as well.
-Coral made fun of Brooke & Ev's relationship, which upset Ev...Lyndsey then asked if the rumors are true that Brooke was dating Ev's ex [Jen]. Ev wouldn't comment, but she seemed very upset and hurt.
-Johanna is no longer that close with Melinda and will not be a bridesmaid even though she is invited to the wedding
-Beth was made fun of, as usual, and her age was brought up
-On a deleted scenes clip, Rachel & Eric were shown hooking up
-CT & Danny were both bashed a lot throughout the reunion
Relationships:
-Jillian & Frank are still together
-Brad & Tori are still together
-CT & Diem broke up
-Johanna and Wes broke up
-Paula & Derek are just friends
-John & Casey are just friends
Future Challenges:
-Coral, Johanna, Rachel, Tori, Brad, Frank, Nehemiah all said they would not do another challenge
-Evan, Kenny, Eric, Jillian, Paula, Katie, Ev all said they would do another challenge.
So doea this mean after the reunion airs, April 2nd is the premiere of RW Hollywood?
So doea this mean after the reunion airs, April 2nd is the premiere of RW Hollywood?
The date that I am hearing is April 16th for the premier of The Real World Hollywood.
im glad we were right Bacchus but in the meantime what are hey gonna show on Wednesday for two weeks?
Maybe "The shit they should have shown" and a Hollywood preview special?
I was actually wondering the same thing.
Have you all forgotten the Real World All-Season Reunion and Awards event this weekend? I expect it will become an hour-long special or perhaps two specials which will occupy the 10 PM slot between the end of the Challenge and the beginning of RW: Hollywood.

Well, the Awards show premieres on Saturday the 29th. You would think they would try to keep momentum in the Wednesday time slot and not fill it with a repeat.
This is crazy!!! Diem and CT breaking up I can almost believe, sad as it is. But Johanna and Wes!!!!!!!!??????? I thought he went to see her during the filming of G3 just to propose to her? What went wrong?

Not sure what the root cause was, but we do have a thread on the subject here where Johanna's sentiments were shared by V1man after he spoke with her. Sounds like they "grew apart."
MTV gives them away on their site under casting calls. They do it pretty quickly though. You'd have to check everyday before the reunion is scheduled to be filmed and submit a request quickly. I know people who have tried to get tickets before and they saw the announcement too late.
Coral looks a lot better (then she did at the Real World Awards.)
That is my only thought thus far.Well, that and Eric put up a good fight being he is the one that cost all the vets 30 G's each....lol.
watching this now.....surprised Coral is even there! (ooooh they're playing The Donnas! awesome!)
uuum.....I didnt know Eric was 26! He defended himself well, i thought
