Fresh Meat 2: Katelynn Cusanelli

Katelynn Cusanelli After an eye-opening season on Real World: Brooklyn, Katelynn continued drawing awareness to transgender issues through a college lecture circuit and by joining the Human Rights Campaign as a spokesperson. But her good works haven't muted her Fresh Meat 2 ambitions, as she declares, "I'm not here to educate. I'm here to win!" Often walking the fine line between outspoken and abrasive, she might hit a snag as she wades through the treacherous waters of Challenge social dynamics for the first time. We'll see if this brain has enough brawn to survive the physical rigors of the challenges!

It's great to see Kate for the first time since the Brooklyn season!
I think she'll be targeted early, simply as a new player. The fact that both her and Sarah are on a challenge together will make their targets a little bigger as well. I wonder if she's very athletic? I'm interested to see how she goes, I liked her on Brooklyn.
I'm interested to see if any of the challenges she competes in will require physical contact with any of the other girls. I could totally see someone like Diem complaining that it wouldn't be fair. Granted, I don't really think it is either but I'm really curious to see how this will play out. Does anyone know if any other cast members had reservations about Katelynn participating in the challenges?

I feel her and Brandon is the weirdest pairing of all the people. It just seems by their team pictures they will clash.

I think Katelynn is going to play an amazing social game. I hope so!
I never saw Brooklyn so I don't know her, but she seems like someone I like...
I actually don't think Katelynn's social game will be great, she has a tendancy to get on people's nerves. And her pairing with Brandon who doesn't look very athletic makes her a huge target. I would sincerely hope that other girls would not claim it was "unfair" to go to a one on one challenge with Katelynn. She's been on hormone treatments for years and would not have any unfair advantage over any other females. That would be a pretty ignorant thing to think. Besides that, she's quite skinny, I just don't see her having any athletic advantage whatsoever. If anything, I'm expecting her to be towards the bottom of the rankings among the females.

If the whole idea is "zomghax she used to be a guy", it's not like I went from friggin' Scott Herman to Jillian. There's no advantage in athleticism, in fact quite a large percent of the meager muscle I had when I was a teenager was lost many years ago during the HRT process. People need to sever that mental connection in their minds. I wish I would get cast for something like a Duel though, because it would be awesome to show off my martial arts prowess instead of doing stupid *** obstacle courses.
I actually don't think Katelynn's social game will be great, she has a tendancy to get on people's nerves.
Ouch. Like Kenny Santucci is going to win any personality awards; I've known terminal illnesses with more panache.
Katelynn thats why I love you because you always have something witty or funny to say. I like that. Also, you being on something like the Duel is a good idea. I think you'd actually would be pretty good in that.
I think she revealed on the thread that she doesn't stays that long, I think she hinted.
Wait she just answered :D
JT who are you referring to?
Please do not post spoilers in this thread without spoiler tags.
Please do not post spoilers in this thread without spoiler tags.
Haha JT, mom yelled at you!
Haha JT, mom yelled at you!
I'll turn this damn bus around!! That'll end your precious little field trip pretty damn quick :D
Katelynn I should clarify that you don't get on MY nerves, I was a big fan of yours in the Brooklyn season. I'm just going by some of the comments your roommates made to the cameras. And I'm not a Kenny fan at all either so the comparison doesn't really work. I hope you do come back for more challenges :-)
WoW :D lol HIIIIIIIIIIIIIII kate :D :D :D Old_Friend
when she quoted she wished that she couldve stay when the drama erupted and her **s stayed
http://vevmo.com/f187/fresh-meat-2-trailer-video-4691/ its on this thread
Oh ok. For a second there I thought you were confused by my post.
Lookin good Kate!
I feel bad that you took that as an insult, but let's be honest- some of the girls on that show complain about the stupidest stuff and I could definitely see them declaring that you being there is unfair. There is a huge debate going on with the Olympics when it comes to transgender athletes. I don't think you have an advantage in athleticism but let's be honest- you're stronger. I'm extremely sorry that this may sound insensitive or extremely ignorant but I was just curious as I think many people have been.

wow looks like Katelynn calls out Sarah judging by the little teaser during the spring break challenges. She states that Sarah changed ever since she has done her first challenge. I wonder what she means by that? Anyone in particular care to answer lol

For someone like Sarah to say that she got picked on all through high school and then "discovered" herself later on and then to go to Brooklyn and act too cool for school to hang out with JD or any of the other boys, just proves to me lame someone like her is. She says/does these things and then goes on the challenge to kiss major *** to be liked by Kenny and co. I hope Katelynn calls her out on that

I don't blame her for anything as Brooklyn's cast was a little dysfunctional as a group IMO--too much posing and self-importance by many of the individuals seemed to keep the group dynamics skewed. They were more like competing co-workers than close friends or roomies in my book. I was actually pretty dumbfounded to see Katelynn in the preview. I always assumed the challenges would be viewed by her as being beneath her. Must have needed the cash.
Katelynn never said she didn't want to do a challenge if I recall correctly...
I guess I just assumed that since she made some comment at some point about not making a career out of the reality TV thing or maybe it was more oriented toward the paid appearances scene. Either way, it surprised me.

Either way, I'm going to be sad when she doesn't compete anymore.
I guess Sarah and Katelynn are no longer friends? I was watching a commercial and she says this to Sarah,"You've been a changed ***** ever since your first challenge."
