Ooh, I love the mountain bike twist. It forces teams to stay together.
Was Jill joking? I think she has a deadpan humor, but she really is having a hard time staying on the bike.
She was joking. At the reunion she confesses to Pete that she was lying.

Thanks.
That puzzle was no joke, I didn't even understand the instructions LOL....talk about ultimate Sudoku!
Though I do sudoku puzzles, I thought the challenge version looked hard at first, too, until I actually tried to solve it. Once you get a couple of numbers in place, the rest is easy to finish. It just looks more difficult because of the way it's set up.

So she just sucks that much at riding a bike?
Landon is a hero...
Win or not.
Agreed. He is pretty much the only reason I kept tuning in to this Challenge. He would kill everyone if he didn't have to wait for Carley even though she is trying to keep pace.
Landon is a hero...
Win or not.
On top of that he's the ONLY one not cursing at his partner (well Noor seems calm as well, he probably gave into the fact there's no shot lol).
Seriously, after watching this episode, nobody should ever complain again if guys ever plan to throw missions so they can get rid of girls for final challenges. This is the epitome of pathetic. Landon could probably finish this thing 5 or 6 times before any of the girls finished once.
Seriously. I have a lot of respect for him and Noor for not screaming at their partners.
Totally agree with all of this (especially the bolded parts). I'm so glad Landon didn't go crazy on Carley. On the first episode, I could tell initially that he was disappointed to be the last guy to get a partner, since he didn't get a choice, but he's been great the whole time with her.
What is going on with the girls! They need to step it up!
aaaargghaaaarrgh I know! You'd think that fat paycheck at the finish line would be enough to motivate them to ride a bike or crawl a little faster.
So she just sucks that much at riding a bike?
She said that her legs were too short to reach the pedals and it wasn't the right size. And then Pete said he adjusted it for her but she still said it wasn't a good bike.
Landon has such composure, that you do not see in any of not only the cast remaining, but the cast at large.
Maybe that does say something about casting.
I am sure the guy is not perfect (none of us are) but he does a good job at living life and finding that mold.

Thought the same thing til Laurel carried that 80lb bag. What a beast.
By the way, wow the Top 3 are really close to each other, they seem separated by only a few minutes!
They seem to be separated by the head start times.

Of course he's not :D

Female competitors have shown themselves to do fine enough several times throughout the challenge series over the years. Just because these girls are having trouble, it doesn't mean that they were horrible the whole time. I've seen guys not do so well on this challenge as well (and other challenges - there are weak guys that the others don't try to get rid of).
Though I was shocked Jillian kept falling off the bike, I don't think it was easy for the teams to ride bikes roped together. You have to be in sync well enough to do it. Some competitors may not have enough patience.
Wow, I shocked at the climbing! This is some RR stuff to me.
