I have been told Camila vs Laurel was fairly close, and if Dan and Dunbar are doing the same elimination...it isn't physical.
Typical, I mean, I don't think Dan is superman or anything, but I was wondering how did Dunbar beat anyone in an elimination round. Still a bummer. I wish Camila vs Laurel was indeed physical.
The gulags aren't really entertaining...blah.
I disagree, they've been really intense and great to observe. The Swat one, in the 4th episode, that was something
Johnny is eliminated by CT?
Johnny is eliminated by CT?
Yes he is.
I have been told Camila vs Laurel was fairly close, and if Dan and Dunbar are doing the same elimination...it isn't physical.
Hmm that's kind of a let-down, I mean it's great that Camila goes down fighting, would've liked to see how Laurel did physically against her though. Oh well, if it's close it should be interesting. Wonder how much Dunbar's head gonna blow up after this victory.

Laurel was lauded as the greatest female competitor by most of you last challenge, but she has been downgraded to mediocre at best. I expected more of her physically. The fact that she was voted in over Emily and Sarah should indicate something. If she was that much of an asset, she would not be on the chopping block. As for the last male gulag, I stand steadfast behind my belief. Derrick beats Brandon and loses to Tyler. Uso!

But you're right, Laurel was looked at as dominant on FM2 and now she hasn't done much that can support that. But to be fair, the situations are a lot different because on FM2 she didn't have to compete as hard a sthe other girls because her partner was Kenny, so of course she was gonna look good. And her size is intimidating as well. While I do think she's a good competitor, and I've said this numerous times, before I put her on my list as a "best female competitor" I need to see her in a 1 on 1 elimination against an average+ competitor.
I'm pretty sure you said this before and when you were asked where you heard this, but you never clarrified, so please, where did you hear this? .
I've been waiting for his clarification as well.
I'm still ****** that Dan goes home to my least favorite person to ever come on a challenge, the Dummy Bear. I was hoping we'd get to see Dan in all of his newly sober glory mess somebody up and have his moment of "now that I'm clean look what I can do", but instead Dunbar gets his first win off of him. I just hope Dan comes back. Usually every cast has one person that I say "Oh...I remember that I liked you on the last challenge...where have you been?" On FM2 it was Jillian, this time it was Dan. BRING HIM BACK BMP!
Maybe it was just that Kenny made her look that good, and that he was very smart during the challenges? Being partnered with the 2nd best guy there never hurt Laurel, and with Landon, she probably would've done just as well but her and Kenny really clicked as a team, which I think helped the most.

That way, someone won't read your post and say "Well, that came out of left field and was completely off-topic"...

Any idea if the elimination Dunar/Dan and Camila/Laurel do ff it's a kind of puzzle that requires some physicality?
I just wanna say that I laughed at your post, only because you called him the Dummy Bear instead of just Dummy Bear. Thank you lol.
Haha he is THE Dummy Bear. I love it when anyone makes fun of him. It can be someone that I dislike just as much as him, like Wes, and I'd still think it was hysterical. When Evan called him a muffin top on one of the dailies I cracked up. I'm really ****** that he won. He just loves to think he's one of the "main characters" and compare himself to JEK and Brad and whatnot when no one gives two ****s about him. Kenny said Dunbar told him that he was the most athletic guy on Cutthroat...yet Derrick and Johnny said he didn't know how to throw a football...the football that HE BROUGHT.
Sorry if this has been answered already, but what's going on with Chet? Spoilers said he was going home, but on the Dailies he's back in the house. Do his injuries catch up with him in the next challenge or something?
I must be an idiot. What am I missing?
I must be an idiot. What am I missing?
There's a [strike]app[/strike] spoiler thread for that! http://vevmo.com/f187/the-challenge-cutthroat-spoilers-4929/index2.html#post211252
There's a [strike]app[/strike] spoiler thread for that! http://vevmo.com/f187/the-challenge-cutthroat-spoilers-4929/index2.html#post211252
Yeah, I saw that. But like I said, the Dailies show Chet returning from the hospital and going back to the house. It didn't seem like he still had any problems. So basically, his injuries do get the best of him?
Yes he is.
Autch. Should be interesting to watch.
I can't believe that Dan is eliminated by Dunbar. My god...
I can't believe that Dan is eliminated by Dunbar. My god...
What are you talking about? Dan is a bad competitor overall(sadly). This challenge is pretty much bottom competitors(expect for Abram, Derrick, and Brad) knocking eachother out.
Dan can be what you're saying, but I don't think Dunbar is better or much better than Dan, that's why I was surprised.

It could be that he is ok, but not ok enough to compete.
Well every Tuesday I've made it my personal duty to give my input on how tomorrow seems to go down so, here's this weeks. The mission look fun and interesting. Not only should it show how strong the team is physically, but they need to have teamwork (no wonder the gray team wins), but they also added the ball and net to make it more fun. Melinda vs. Emily I'm excited about because I want to see both compete. Melinda because she always was a "good" competitor, but I've never seen her as amazing, and Emily because it's her first 1 vs. 1 elimination and I wanna see how fierce she really is. Brandon vs. Derrick will also be very interesting because two good competitor are going at it. Derrick's my all time favorite competitor, but when he finally decides to call it quits, I see Brandon filling that void so it's gonna be a win/lose situation.

I want to see how Emily does in 1-on-1 matches. That's where the bread and butter is to me. If you can do well on missions and elimination rounds then you're good in my book. As for Brandon and Derrick, I know Brandon loses but I really hope he put up a good fight. I truly see him becoming a good competitor but he's gotta either defeat or give one of the top vets a run for their money because the last people he went up against weren't exactly worth bragging about (Derek and JD) and Ty was giving him the works in the first round of their match (don't start a Ty-Brandon debate I'm stating my opinion). As for Derrick, I think d=Derrick is overrated and nobody ever says when he plays a shady game but bash others of **** so. And I'm sick of hearing him talk about retirement and then come back. Didn't he say he was quitting to raise his kid on the Island??? I don't dislike him but I feel he needs to call it quits. He and Katie reign as the most appearances on a challenge and that's sad. Makes it seem like they have no lives outside the challenge.
Derrick has never talked retirement, I think the closest he ever go to saying it was after his Duel loss to Wes when he mentioned he had to take a break to see what he needed to do to win, and then Inferno 3 came with his 3 game win streak following. The difference between Derrick's shady game and others, is the he respect people who back it up. On the Island he respected Ashli for doing her face off with the hurt toe, and I think the only good competitor he has ever thrown under the bus was Wes on the Ruins..and lets face it you can't blame him for screwing over Wes who was trying to screw over his entire team.

That's why they, kenny and JB, let him to the finals and on their boat. He even mentioned it on a daily for cutthroat. I don't feel like looking back for the title but he was talking to laurel I think. And he may not be a shady as others, as you say, but shady is shady. He just stay under the radar, as kenny said.

Those three were going to be on each others boats if they all made it to the end, and they knew it from the first day. And I don't remember anything about Derrick retiring, I know he planned on taking a break, and he did while the Duel 2 went on. But still, things change but he never really said much about retiring like Mark and Timmy did. Anyways, just a few mores hours til, what I feel is going to be, a good episode. The mission looks interesting, I really wanna see how the blue team does with them lacking so many players compared to the red and gray team. But I think the big thing this episode will be Derrick vs. Brandon though. Like somebody else said, I hope Brandon puts up a good fight and I'm interested to see how Derrick gets voted in in the first place...
