Could be that she is just doing a new look for a new phase in her life. She has certainly milked this realty thing for what its worth, but maybe she is just starting her transition into something new.

Voluntarily or involuntarily, I suspect that will happen soon (I have my doubts about the Challenges being renewed).
Everybody does but the thing is the challenges are still making money and are still a big hit with MTV. Although the ratings arent what they used to be, no show has great ratings right now because of the economy. If the show can still afford to go out of state, have 28-30 castmembers per season and give away prizes like they do, I think it will be fine.
As far as Paula I dont see her stoping anytime soon.
