I enjoyed reading that interview with her, it seems like she is in a good place in her life. :)
Loved reading that interview. "Elka, though, she's my girl."
Who would have thought that a Catholic girl who admitted she didn't know how she would react living with a lesbian would become best friends with a lesbian? Elka's evolution on Boston was such an amazing thing to watch.
I think it's interesting to note that Montana is only friends with Syrus from her season on Facebook; I wonder if there is any beef with her and Genesis? I didn't see Elka or Jason having a Facebook, so I would assume anything there (although Elka did say at the end of Boston that she felt closest with Montana, I'm assuming that's changed.) Syrus said though that Elka lives down the street from him, so I'm assuming Elka is close with Syrus as well (and Genesis, too!)
Anyone see the Genesis Moss interview from early 2012? She just updates her life and says who she still talks to from the show, she looks great!:

No but i will as soon as i get a chance
If anyone has been to a Six Flags park recently, Kit Hoover from RR 1 is the host of Six Flags TV. In other words, she host a really corny segment that air on TVs throughout the park and ride queues. I was at Six Flags Over Texas a couple days ago and had to wait in line for an hour watching the same, cheesy lady talk about funnel cakes and kept thinking to myself "...she looks reallllyyy familiar."
Yes! Looooove Holly.
She married in September of 2011, and currently resides in San Francisco, CA. Last I heard she had no children, but that could have changed in the last year.
And to answer everyone's question in their brain at this moment; no, consider her retired from Challenges, and she still keeps in touch with the cast members of her era, such as, Timmy, Tara, Emily, and even Veronica, who also lives in San Fran.
And since we're on the Latin America train;
Josh, who last appeared on Battle of the Seasons in 2002, is married, and (still) the owner of Dallas City Tavern in Dallas.
Gladys, lives in Boston, and currently in a relationship according to her Facebook. She's made her mark on the franchise by being, 1. the first cast member on Road Rules to be removed for physical violence, and 2. being the first pregnant 'Challenge' contestant in 2003 during Battle of the Sexes.
Abe, has relocated to London, England, has a child. For the old-school fans wondering, he has re-connected with Gladys via Facebook, so we can assume they are AT LEAST back on speaking terms (It's been 12 years for God's sake). This was something a lot of fans wanted to know post-Latin America, but MTV never provided us with a Road Rules reunion.
Sarah is married with a child and resides in New Orleans. We last saw her on the Casting Special 2000 before the 'New Orleans' Real World season.
Now, BRIAN is the only one who seems to have successfully fallen off the face of the earth since Road Rules, so, good for him.
I don't know if this was ever posted but it includes some castmembers we haven't seen awhile. It's from 2008.

Old. I seen that years ago. Thanks
How is Brian being gone a good thing?
There are a handful of cast members, when the show is over, that put the show behind them. Not because they are bitter, but because they want to move on.
For those that chose to move on, do you think they like getting bugged about the show all the time? In fact, do you think a good majority of the cast members enjoy being asked about the show all the time? Sure, a lot of the newer casts do, and there are a lot of them that embrace it, but there are some cast members who want to move forward, and I think Brian has done a good job of being absolutely undetected since his season. After all, these are every-day people.
Sure, they signed up for the attention, but when their show is well over 10 years ago, and they want to move on, I think that should be respected. I'm sure Allison from Road Rules 1, who I'm sure is married with children, does not want to ever hear about her fling with the mayor of Nogales, or constantly bothered about if she's ever going to do a challenge.

Thank you so much! I LOVED holly!

Fair enough. It's just they, the ones who want to move on, aren't really doing anything productive. At least some of them that is, plus its easy money though its not always "good money" but I still think they should be okay with being recognized. I see no problem with that though.
Also I barely remember which one Brian was but I thank you for that information. I loved Gladys and wished she stuck around more.

Just curious, what do you mean they aren't doing anything productive? They're all just living their lives like any of us are. I mean, I was never on TV but I have a job (which I consider to be productive) as I'm sure most of these people do. It's not like they're all a bunch of Pucks who are in jail for stalking.

Who's to say? Just because they aren't doing a Real World/Road Rules Challenge, doesn't mean they are not being productive in their lives. To each his own.
There IS backlash for being on MTV and a certain stigma that comes with it. A lot of cast members who chose to move on and get REAL jobs don't want to risk a negative professional reputation. That's the problem.
Not trying to pick a fight but a lot of people need to understand WHY certain cast members don't want to be on another challenge, don't want affiliation with MTV/BMP, and don't want to be bothered about it in their personal lives.
Aaron & Dom from RW2: LA were done with it once the show ended. Andre from RW1 was as well. Sean and Rachel Duffy have tried to put it behind them the moment he became a prosecutor and now in the US Congress. I'm quite Sean does not want it pulled up at this point in his career.

Exactly. The ad campaigns AGAINST Sean when he ran for congress were BRUTAL, and they definitely used his Real World and Challenge episodes against him, digging as deep as using the "You Never Saw" clips.
Andre disaffiliated himself with Real World for people to take him and his band seriously (hence his absence from the '96 Reunion). Once the dust settled on his career pursuits, he returned for the 10th Anniversary Special, as well as the Secrets Revealed special 8 years later.
Yeah, there are some cast members we hear bits and pieces about, that haven't done anything MTV related since their show, but then there are those who went back into complete radio silence and totally out of the public eye (including social media); Allison and Shelley from Road Rules 1, Brian RR Latin America, Matt RW Hawaii, Keri RW Chicago, to name a few. And I'm sure they're totally fine with it too.
This is quite the 180- Eric Reece Jones, alumni profile
Eric from Road Rules Campus Crawl, the 20-year-old frat kid, who had a roller coaster relationship with Kendal, is now the Manager of Finance for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
Much more productive than competing in 5+ seasons of the Real World/Road Rules Challenge... But that's just my opinion.

Finance is boring. Challenges are fun. Repeate challengers win.
Depends who you ask, I have heard horror stories about working for Disney.
haha You asked the wrong person, dude. It's amazing. One of the best companies you could ever work for.
I just worked the PeopleMover at the Magic Kingdom, though. So I'm not sure how "fun" Eric is having working on the corporate side of things.
