I want to know what's up with Christina from Road Rules South Pacific. Why she hasn't done another challenge. I think she was intelligent, well-spoken, funny, and had personality. Great competitor and great in confessionals. It's just like Abe was saying, the older castmembers were more intelligent. And I agree.
This is her Twitter: Christena Pyle (cjpyle) on Twitter
but she has protected her tweets so no idea if there's any interesting info in there. The only RW/RR person she follows is Veronica Portillo.
Does anyone know what ever happened to Janelle Casanave? I can't find her on any social networking site or anything.
She was good friends with a couple of my cousins and even went on a trip together with them but apparently they ditched her so I'm glad. She was too mean anyway.
Char, I wonder why Christena protectd her tweets then only follows Veronica or all people.
More like married to.
That was my favorite season. I always thought she would end up marrying that doctor, she met down there.
Two updates:
Eric (Campus Crawl): Working for Disney in Finance.
Kathryn (MVT): elusive, because the last name that's been on the internet is incorrect. Married to the bf who was on a few episodes of her season. Works in the business world.
Nicole (B2NY): Finally an update. Her last name also seems to be wrong. It's not Jackson, at the time of filming, it was Mitsch, as seen in this 2001 article Portland's 'Real World' housemate is 'the angry one' . I didn't know she was from Portland originally, and someone with the same name seems to have recently worked for the online magazine Clutch Magazine as its beauty director.

Are you saying Kathryn's last name was never Kolb or that she changed it once she got married?
She had the look of Kate Beckinsale and kathleen Robertson.

Never was Kolb, and has also changed since married. Another fun fact: She said in an old interview that she was asked to be on the Challenge (would have been Extreme Challenge I assume), but turned it down.
I think MVT got killed by its innovative cinematography and the Roadmaster. Had a very different feel to it. Only RR, RW, or Challenge to get nominated for an Emmy though.
I'd love to know if any of the first season cast still keep in contact. In my head Heather and Julie are still at least e-mail friends. They were such an unexpected partnership! When they were calling random people screaming "I'M GOING TO JAMAICA!" is a classic :)
Any updates on anyone?
It may be just me, but I could have sworn I saw a claritin clear commercial with Johanna in it. It sure looks like her at least. Can't find it on youtube though, maybe it's a new one.

I just saw it too. She was running in a race? It was most def her.
Sooo...care to share with us what it was, or is it private?
How about no.
There's a reason Kathryn Turned down the 2001 challenge and there's a reason why Kathryn hasn't been on our TV screens for more than 10 years now. She's done a great job of keeping her life private since and I think that should be respected.
I know this isn't a reliable source, but for years on Wikepedia it listed Kathryn's last name as Kolb and now it is listed as Omeg.
And Honestly, I get a little tired of people saying "respect their privacy". I understand if it is something personal, but the girl auditioned to be a part of a show which documents her life. I still remember her casting tape, she was a wild one, who wanted to "sew her wild oats". It's only natural for people to wonder about her. If she didn't want it than she shouldn't have auditioned.

I disagree. There's a difference between wondering what she's up to (which was said) and wanting to know her (current) information.
Some cast members try to milk their 15 minutes, others try to resume normal life. I understand that these cast members sign up to appear on television, but when I say their privacy should be respected, I mean that if any cast member chooses to resume normal life AFTER the show they should have every right to, especially those who are trying to build a professional image in their career or family (why do you think some cast members totally disappear when their season is over?).
And why wouldn't you want to respect their privacy? So we can spam them about something they did years ago? I think it's common courtesy, despite appearing on a reality tv show.

I never said I didn't want to respect her privacy, I said I get sick of people saying that. And what are you talking about spamming her? Do you think someone would go find her and start sending her random messages about her stint on MVT? That's just a weird thing to say. I have no idea why you would even say that, unless you yourself, are so compelled that you randomly message people.
I was curious about her because I thought she was a cool chick on her season. Plain and simple.
And you have to realize this is a site for reality shows, and this thread, specifically is about the people from the Real World and Road Rules and what they have been up to. Her being married isn't really what she has been up to.
It appears to be Omeg, but knowing her last name isn't invading her privacy; there's a page on cornell.edu still up that was created many years ago during her TV stint that has the correct last name from Cornell's Dear Uncle Ezra column.
I don't really think knowing someone's last name is necessarily invading their privacy. Pretty sure my own first and last name is all over the internet in various places from things I've done/participated in /competed in. Not really a big deal, I don't consider that a "personal" detail about myself that I want to protect. It's just my name. I mean I introduce myself like that when I meet people, so, why worry about it?

Oh please. Kathleen looked nothing nor a resemblance of Kathryn. Kathryn was just ****** anyway.

She gave up her "Respected privacy" when she got on our tv screens and who gives a rats patoot if she turned down the 2001 challenge. She probably knew there would be reprecussions from sleeping with Latterian Wallace.

No one gives up their privacy by virtue of being on TV. Their privacy is invaded, stomped upon, stolen and damaged for life by intrusive people who have nothing better to do with their lives, or are in the business of financial gain by revealing the private matters of others.
[And I agree wholeheartedly with molds13's admonition.]

Yes. I've seen a handful of former cast members on Facebook that have either drastically changed their privacy settings or deleted their account completely after being discovered and bombarded with messages from strangers asking for "interviews" about their show or asking if they would come back to do a challenge. This is not uncommon and I think it's really pathetic and I'm sure it's annoying for the cast members.
And what more about Kathryn do you want to know aside from knowing that she is married and works in finance? Would you like to know what she bought at the grocery store today?
