Right now I'm currently watching FR and this is def an unpopular opinion, but I genuinely don't think Zach & Amanda would've stolen from each other had they won.
I think Zach and Amanda secretly had the hots for each other. There was so much sexual tension between them that season and I wonder if that's why she hated Jenna so much lmao. Love Amanda but some chicks love the stereotypical buff *********.

I agree...I dont think their hatred for each other was legit. It was for show.

Interesting. Why do you say that?
Well rewatching the season, they got along really well and defended each other's abilities in the game in the confessionals and generally had nice things to say about each other UP UNTIL that moment.
I think that moment sparked their real "vendetta" and even after that, Amanda seemed to care about Zach's well being in the redemption house on his injuries which is minor, but still.
Plus, prior to that, they barely did a season together. Invasion, Zach got flung as quick as he came. There was no real beef or animosity, up until they screwed their games.

Sounds like your "hatred" for Trishelle.
Not at all. I don't hate Trishelle I just think she's an awful person and an annoying character. How she treated Katie on All Stars proves that IMO

It takes Trischell being rude to a white woman to get you upset. Figured

Nope thats just proof for everyone that was in denial. She lost me on The Gauntlet with Coral.

that's a good point. But I could see it being done to asser the others dominance. They do have egos before anything. Zach more than anything.
tori isn't that bad whenever she's more of a supporting character, she's just too much and too annoying whenever she's one of the main faces. and a lot of the hate gets is way too vile from people (everyone in the fandom not just vevmo) who would shit their pants if they had to show off their physcial appearence to the internet
My own unpopular opinion - at least on this site: There hasn't been a good cast since Dirty 30. Vendettas and FR luckily had Marie, Queen V for a moment, and that's about it.
Spies, Lies & Allies was good until it became 3 teams.
Final Reckoning & WOTW2 are in the top 5 seasons
None of the recent seasons are actually that bad, it's the 20 weeks that kills the show. If it dropped under a strong streaming service, with multiple eps at a time, there would be nothing wrong with the current condition of the challenge, could it be better? Yes. But imo it always could've been better even since season 1.

Yeah, this is a terrible take lol.
I mean you have plenty, but okay. This is my opinion. Like I've said before, I've never found any of this as groundbreaking TV, even from the beginning.

Oh I agree I have plenty, I'm not bashing you just your opinion of the state of the show lol. Real World was groundbreaking but never The Challenge. It was just once a fun competition show with great drama and fun to see your favorites from shows you watch return and compete. I think the randoms from all over kind of ruin the connection to the show fans once had.
I've gotten beat up for this opinion a few times so I'll post it here. They need to bring back the pranks and hazing. The show takes itself too serious and we need to see the light-hearted side. People say it's stupid but then rave about "The $hîz They Should Have Shown" which is basically all about the fun side. If you are going to have 90 minute episodes they have to be less dry, you can't cut the fun and drama but lengthen the run time lol. Plus the pranks led to entertaining drama at times but since it was over a prank it wasn't too dark.

perfectly stated - the randoms were the downfall. I miss the light heartedness of the show we're the cast looked like they were actually having fun. We still got great drama, fun moments, a mission, and an elimination all is 30 min. Now they struggle with an hour and half.

That I do agree with which is why I go so hard on folks like Colleen & Big T and others cause why waste spots on them, when we have folks over here that can provide the same things and more. I did a list in the fantasy cast and there's literally 135 rookies from here that I could think of, off the top of my head that need to do the show, but most likely won't.
Also I agree with Real World being groundbreaking. Good show.
That's not their fault they existed in an era where the pool of winners was higher.
Even Darrell winning four times back-to-back is something NO ONE else did. That's legitimately impressive. Especially since he almost made it five and didn't not because of his competitive ability, but because he beat someone up.
You had people like Abe and Brad who on paper would have more wins, and still it took Brad until Cutthroat to become a champ.
It's very easy to say people like Cory or Nany would be champs under that format, but not everyone was walking away with wins back then, and they rarely did it more than once despite that being a tangible possibility.
I'd actually argue that only winning once back then is the equivalent of not winning at all now.

i miss the shit they shouldve shown...
when is the last time they even talked about a prank on this show? When they tied up amanda? Which I did not think was funny but Im wondering if this is one of the reasons why they refuse to give us more of the antics going on in the house?
i liked the way they did redemption on exes 2, the redemption battles wasnt shown on TV until the twist was revealed to the cast. Dirty 30 and FR seemed so damn long with all the redemption episodes.

Yeah, this is probably a good assessment. At the time i hated the fact that they weren't showing them but those 2 seasons did drag on--especially FR (that set up was awful)
Coral is not the bad *** ***** that she calls herself. She is a whiner who always ***** her team over when they don't bow down to her. She should not be missed at all.
The only time I saw RW Miami Dan in a Challenge was Inferno 2 in which he was a genuine character and was one of the first persons who saw through Jodi and her whorish method of staying as long as possible. Plus he was not scared of going into the elimination against the meatbrain Miz.

Coral returning would likely be a disappointment. She did a video with acenichols33 and said in her day there were rules and no throwing missions to get rid of people, it was it just didn't happen to her til gauntlet 3.

Thanks for clearing that up. Looks like my first impression was wrong so sorry bout that. One time in Survivor Redemption Island, a tribe threw a immunity challenge so that Russell would be sent to RI makes me wonder if the same applied back then....

On the Inferno they threw multiple missions trying to get rid of Katie
I do think it would be a disappointment but not buying the rule

I wouldn't be opposed to this show being the 5th major sport , but they need to make it fair.
Why cast Tori & Kaycee with somebody like Big T? We need Michaela, Desi, Chanelle, Cydney Gillon, Khat Bell, Jordie Danielle etc...
They should do a Spring Break Challenge 2.

Trivializing old-school wins is stupid.
