Well, Derrick probably had to act mature or like his friend or Wes could easily just hang up. I'm not so much mad about how Derrick acted but about how Wes was really cool to Derrick and complimentary of him just to have Derrick talk about him behind his back. Even as a fan of Derrick...that's where I lost a little bit of respect for Derrick.
I underrated he had to act cordial in order to get a good interview out of him, but he should have left it at that instead of bringing it up on the next podcast with his next guests.
I underrated he had to act cordial in order to get a good interview out of him, but he should have left it at that instead of bringing it up on the next podcast with his next guests.
True.
lol but he didn't retweet the mom stuff, he himself tweets stupid stuff about him. I don't mind the retweeting but the silly stuff he tweets makes him look obsessed and that he nitpicks. I don't think he should have been rude to Wes or read him the stupid stuff that the people tweeted but he could have asked him tough questions without being rude or don't go and try and bad mouth him to Mark/Brandon and try to change what he said and try to make him sound worse than he did. Wes is a big boy and he could handle some tougher questions because then he can at least defend himself, like how would Wes feel if he heard the next podcast and hears Derrick say that? Like Wes was so respectful so why go and ruin his good podcast like that? It just ended up making Derrick look bad he should have said to Mark/Brandon to listen to Wes' podcast and judge for themselves.
Well Derrick is not the only one who dislikes Wes, Cara Maria has said that she doesn't like the cocky and arrogant comments of Wes
I didn't see the mom tweet, so could you fill me in on that ? Also, read my last post and that's how I pretty much feel about the subject.
Can't remember word for word, it was just really stupid something like "oh I can't believe he brought up your mom, **** that ****" he tweeted it to Kenny. That wasn't a big insult it just seems he likes to make something out of nothing.
Well Derrick is not the only one who dislikes Wes, Cara Maria has said that she doesn't like the cocky and arrogant comments of Wes
I think something happens with Wes and Cara Maria, but I don't get why people don't see that its a tv show, there always has to be a "villain" and Wes is apparently the bad guy this time, but he isn't being hurtful to anyone so whats with all the hate? And a lot of the cast like him outside of the show like Brandon tried to say they had a good time but Derrick wouldn't let him, and believe it or not I think even Kenny/Johnny don't want to kill him outside of the show, which is obvious because they always hang out together on the show and even him and CT were staying up to talk and now him and CT are cool now so its just a tv show.
Yeah, I'm definitely turned-off from Derrick's two-faceness on his podcasts. I'm not going to listen to them anymore. It's a good thing that Wes doesn't devote his life to the shows like Derrick does and didn't care enough to listen to the podcast right after the one starring him.

He took some shots pretty unnecessarily...but I've heard people say some stuff about Wes unprompted. If you listen to Brandon's show with Adam King, which Derrick WASN'T a part of, both of them had choice words for Wes. I think a lot of it comes down to the way you say things. It's like on the Ruins when Kenny was constantly saying stuff to Sarah, but at the end of the day it was playful, whereas Johnny said one thing to her, but the way that he said it made her take it seriously and cry. If Cara took whatever Wes did to make her not like him as hurtful...then it was hurtful.
I see a lot of references to Wes' comments on the podcast and his selection for who the best challengers are. Did he list a top 5 or something? If so, who did he say? Can't stand to listen to him speak for an hour but I'm curious as to who he mentioned if he excluded Landon and Darrell.

When asked about Landon and Darell, he said he doesn't find them to be well rounded. I can see the argument for Darrell, but not Landon.

Landon usually isn't in alliances mainly because he doesn't need to, he's strong enough to do it himself without politics. And he said CT is the best athlete but isn't well rounded.
I keep hearing how Landon back stabbed Wes. Didn't Wes send Landon in against CJ first?
Ev was talking about it in her blog can't remember exactly how it happened but theres a daily about it, before the Landon vs CJ thing, Landon was talking about throwing Wes in against Jill/Pete, then if he came back to put him in against Jen/Noor then after that to put him with Ryan/Theresa. Doesn't really sound fair to me to put him in 3 times, then I guess Ev told Wes and they made the deal with Kenny to call out Landon and Ev and Wes agreed to vote in CJ, I think that's how it happened, none of it made the episode though lol. Ev said even Landon laughed at how it was edited.

Landon probably felt like he had to put Wes in before he was put in. I have no idea why Wes wouldn't include Landon in his best list but either way, we know Landon and CT fight for the number 1 spot.
It's funny because I don't think Wes cares if anyone likes or dislikes him.
It's funny because I don't think Wes cares if anyone likes or dislikes him.
None of them should care, mainly because this is television. Everyone picks their favorites. There are bound to be some haters for each player.
I'm usually a fan of Wes (mainly because he's usually against Kenny and I strongly dislike him), but this challenge he's back to his "I'm better than everyone else" talk. I'm glad he and Kenny are doing terrible in the challenges.
None of them should care, mainly because this is television. Everyone picks their favorites. There are bound to be some haters for each player.
This reminds me of the time that I was in a mall in LA with a former reality cast member (not from MTV) who was widely disliked for his gameplay during a reality show. Two young women and a guy, all teenagers, approached me -- having seen us walking in the mall together, shopping and talking -- to ask it it was OK if that talked to my friend. I introduced them. One of the young women said, "I really just wanted to see if you really were an *******, since that is what I thought of you when we watched (the show)." My friend asked if the three were free for lunch. They were. Over the next three hours at P.F. Changs in the Beverly Center, he answered all their questions, told them in detail how the show was produced, why he said and did the things he did, and how he felt about the strongly negative fan reaction. The young man, who was a freshman at UCLA, mentioned that he was majoring in TV and film production. He said one of his professors described reality TV as TV's "fast food: instantly satisfying but unhealthy." My friend looked at me and said, "Get this kid a summer job in production. He's got a future." Today he works for Steven Spielberg. As we were leaving, one of the women said to us, "If you do another show, I'm probably still going to hate you; but next time I'll love hating you!"
I just love how the comment box on Derrick's podcast website exploded after he had Wes on. Somehow, Derrick believes that its only one person that posts there. I know I left only one comment, and I am sure that many more are tired of Derrick's bias. I am not even a big fan of Wes. I don't mind his stupid comments. I get that they get bored in the comment booth and then start entertaining themselves by saying stupid stuff. I don't like how Wes plays the game and that he called Casey a ***** several times. However, how come Derrick is ok with Johnny being such a misogynist but critizices every little thing Wes says? I doubt Wes wants to hurt people in the show, whereas Johnny really hurt Evelyn and Kellyanne on the Island.

If I hadn't know him before, this would have told me all I needed to know about his character. As it was, it only confirmed what I already knew.
I like Derrick, but his bias is evident. How come Wes is the big bad wolf, **** of the earth manipulator. However, Johhny is awesome despite how sexist, crude, and rude he is. In addition he hurt KellyAnne, Evelyn and some of the other gals on the Island. I personally can't stand Johnny for the reasons already mentioned. I have way more respect for Wes despite his manipulative tactics on the challenges. At-least Wes respects women.
Hahahaha. Forget about Casey and Johanna on FM?
What he did to those two was nothing compared to how Johnny treated many of the women on the Island and other challenges.
Hahahaha. Forget about Casey and Johanna on FM?
No comparison, by the end of that challenge Wes seemed to be genuinely sorry for the way he treated Casey and Johanna and i don't think anything like that ever happened again.
Hahahaha. Forget about Casey and Johanna on FM?
That doesn't mean Wes is a misogynist. It's pretty unfair to make a sweeping generalization that he must be a woman hater b/c he lost his temper on a few occassions. It makes him a jerk for those occassions. No one called Laurel a misandrist (or any other woman that calls any of the men on the show *******s, jerks, etc.) for her comments toward Eric. Neither comment is excusable, but it's just ridiculous that when a man makes an incendiary comment towards a woman he's labeled as a woman-hater, but when a woman calls a man something she's, at best, sticking up for herself, at worse, just being (for lack of a better term) a *****.

I'm not about to get into the "who was worse" argument but it's still a fact that both of them have looked down on the girls on these shows.
That doesn't mean Wes is a misogynist. It's pretty unfair to make a sweeping generalization that he must be a woman hater b/c he lost his temper on a few occassions. I don't get how sooo many people are saying Wes seemed really down to earth and cool and likable on the podcast. I didn't find him likable! lol. Was I listening to the same podcast? He didn't seem down to earth or humble at all and he seemed like the same Wes. I get that on the show he just says and does things for the cameras and doesn't care how they come off. But I still don't think it's Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde with him. I think he can be difficult. And I didn't like how he had the nerve to say Darrell and Landon aren't very good. Actually I've always said those two are the best. Especially Darrell. And I don't think Derrick was acting like his best friend on the podcast. Actually, Derrick seemed to be mocking him all through it or calling him out for manipulating.

Losing to Cohutta in the ruins and not even being able to handle the exile in FM2 should humble you pretty quick....

Maybe you forgot the definition of respect, but hey, it happens to us all sometimes... I was just responding to someone who said Wes respects women and I was stating that he didn't seem so respectful when he called Johanna and Casey names. For the record, I am not saying Johnny is innocent. It's just the inconsistencies around here are crazy.
