WHy do C.T and Adam "dserve it", yous ay because they had performed "well" (they won twice, Leeroy did as well, and Johnny and TYler won 3 times), so realistically they are on par. Plus C.T (the only male to do so) dqed...by definition he deserves to go in the Jungle There is no denying that CT is the best ATHLETE there, but actual CHALLENGE COMPETITOR...i think there is a debate. Aside from Leeroy and MIke (who are first time rookies), the other 4 have actually won previous finals.. The eliminations, missions and finals are notall determined on who is the best athlete one on one.(C.T is the top in this category), but C.T lacks in political power, strategy, mental focus and other crucial aspects of a challenge. Additionally he has a partner, who is arguably the second worst competitor of the remaining males (he's good but it's a stacked field) , it doesn't matter who is the best "guy" its the best partnership that matter in this game. Quite frankly I think Johnny and Tyler's balanced team are more of a threat than C.t and Adam in some games. It would be interesting to see how this jungle shakes out...C.T is the best competitor *especially for this style of game(based on the previews), but I'd say Tyler and John are signifcantly better than Adam. ALso that whole Ruins thing with Wes, and that logic behind throwing challenges, is WHY Wes is a punk and nobody likes him (except when forced to like on this challenge). Wes should of been at the bottom of the totem pole to start regardless, since he was the least experienced champion at the time, with only two previous challenges , a guy with real character would of stuck it out and proved to his team that he was more valuble, instead of pulling the stunts he did. Also somewhere in that long extended scene of the Wes C.T argument, If I'm not mistake Wes said "I;d liek to send you home in the jungle"...maybe he meant via someone else idk...but thats what I'm basing that on.
"No body cares about fair, they're playing a game and it's in the hands of the other teams. The other teams voted them in, it's that simple, he needs to handle it, the fact that he went nuts on people that have no loyalty to him shows he's scared, they wouldnt put in Leroy because it would be the fair thing to do, they were going to put him in because he's not in the alliance. And it was between 2 teams that's not the same thing as what was happening on the ruins, on the ruins they wanted to send him in every time, so yeah I would throw missions too because he was going in every time, if he could pull it off he would make more money and they all havent seen him since the duel and him and Kenny had their feud and JEK used that as the reason to not like him and they used him as the scapegoat. And CT and ADAM deserve it the most because they have performed well and theres no denying that CT is the best guy there. And Wes didnt say he wants to take him out, he already admitted CT is the best. At the end of the day nobody cares about fair, its all about who has whos back and getting to the finals any way possible and it all works out in the end because if a team really does suck then they wont win any money in the end.
Johnny&Tyler and CT&Adam have been the top 2 best performing teams. Neither of them deserved to be in the next elimination, but CT DQed. Johnny performed better than Wes on that last challenge as well. Kenny & Wes have been performing horribly since day 1, so if it was based on who did the most to get to the final, then yes, Johnny&Tyler are justified in their anger that they were voted in and not Kenny&Wes. I think Johnny&Tyler are both a bit scared, as anyone would be going against CT. I mean, Johnny& Tyler have won 3 challenges, and now have to face the biggest, strongest person in the Jungle. Kenny&Wes lost a ton of challenges, won one, and beat Davis&Tyrie and Ty&Brandon. I mean honestly, who did more to get to the final? I'm saying that THAT'S what they're angry about.
How do you know this? On the last episode when they were arguing about who was going in, Wes said "I did better than you today" and Johnny replied by saying "That doesn't matter.". If he did better he would have disputed it.
One of my favorites... talent network news: Derrick Kosinski Podcast | w/ Tyler | MTV the Challenge: Rivals
Props to him for taking physical beatings like a champ. Like a stupid, medical advice ignoring champ, but still.
^Agreed. That was impressive. Must suck to get sick before a final, stupid to ignore medical advice but if you think you can go on why not give it a try and quit if you can't do it? Made it this far, so see how you feel when you get out there.
has anyone seen the daily for episode 9? I thought it was a totally **** moment when Johnny took off Tyler's underwear while facing him lol

During the actual episode, Johnny said that Tyler "somehow ended up naked" but the uncensored version told a very different story. It seemed a little odd to me but they've both said that they've become really good friends during their Rivals experience... I'll just leave it at that!!
LOL my mouth dropped when I saw that, it's like he's done it before.
LOL my mouth dropped when I saw that, it's like he's done it before.
Wouldn't surprise me if it has haha, don't know why he feels the need to do it though?

Dunno though, could be that I just thought that cause of the annoying background tune :p

Tylers a beast, he now has a win streak going.

Now that Frank is "retired" we need a new (although he isn't really new) dominating gay male competitor. He's even bigger now than he was on Rivals.

He favorite some tweets last month about coming back too.

There's worse people that can return and obviously he's a good competitor, but his behavior osn the episode he got voted in was ridiculous, as well as his impersonation of a black man while arguing with Leroy.

I've seen worse though. Yes, he overreacts but that's a very natural feeling for some who have been voted in especially by friends.

I mean what's supposed to happen it's between two teams and the other is Kenny/Wes, who had better connections, evidently.

Okay but still when someone gives you their word you take it. He took it. I mean Jenn & Paula are his best friends. I understand its a game but still they had history.

However, he should come back regardless of how he behaves. He kicks ***!

I think he was already a lock on Rivals2 and FA, but was cut because of Paula not participating on FA and Ty because of unknown reasons?

I also thought Tyler was such a baby for whining about being voted into the final jungle against Adam and CT. I really hated him in that episode. However, I have to say that Tyler is probably one of the most improved players in Challenge history. He was the second guy eliminated on The Duel and The Gauntlet 3, took a long break, then won Cutthroat and Rivals; winning the last elimination before the finals in both seasons. That's pretty impressive! Hopefully Dustin can pull a Tyler soon.

Tyler acted immature about the vote and Leroy was 100% in the right but Tyler is very sensitive person so I'm not surprised he acted that way. People have done way worse on these shows and he has definitely grown up since his season on Key West. I couldn't stand him then but on Cutthroat he grew on me. I hope to see him back!

Tyler did **** me off near a the end of Rivals. Bit I don't mind him returning.

I'm remembering crying at the thought of Preston being cast over him.

He is horrible on real world such a *****y mean person. (Watching that season right now)

He's always been a ****** except for Cutthroat though lol.

best gay contestant this show has ever had, his clique with jenn was iconic

Frank Sweeney was better IMO.  I think an argument could be made for Norman too but Tyler was definitely very good.

Dan Renzi is my personal favorite gay lol

I liked Danny Roberts
