50 per person for 1st and 25 per person for 2nd. AKA $300,000 in total
I'm pretty sure it's $100k per person for first.
I'm pretty sure it's $100k per person for first.
50 thousand for each male winner = 100 thousand. 50 thousand for each female winner = 100 thousand. Those two together = 200 thousand. 25 thousand each for 2nd male = 50 thousand. 25 thousand each for 2nd female = 50 thousand. All of that together = 300 thousand. They never give out more than 300 thousand dollars.
I'm pretty sure it's $100k per person for first.
That would imply them giving away $600,000, which I HIGHLY doubt they'd do. He didn't say "100,000 each" he just said "100,000 for the guys, 100,000 for the girls"
It was all mental. Adam would have killed them if he didn't have a mental breakdown. They almost won and Adam had to make like 3 extra trips. Really surprised that Adam mentally would kill the team. I feel bad for him but CT took it like a champ which is awesome.

Could CT have kept checking Tyler while Adam went up the hill? I don't remember the rules if he could. Because CT did dive in the middle with them before they both raced (Johnny was nowhere to be found btw) and helped drag Adam up the hill who appeared to have nothing left. Man CT had it, this was their shot!!!
Even though I knew the outcome, it still stung a little seeing CT/Adam lose. CT was awesome afterwards though. I'm all about Leroy and Mike. That's basically the only team left where I like both people. Wes sucks so much. I loved Cara Maria's little talk-back towards him. When he told her she wasn't "deep" enough for him, I wanted her to laugh right in his face. Yeah, because he's some outworldly being. I love that it looks like Wes and Jenn will **** it up for their respective teams next week because they deserve a giant slice of humble pie. Also: Hey Christina from RW: Paris! Loved the flashback.
Remember the Ruins when Wes was like "Everybody here are bad people! We should be good to each other! I want to be role model!" What happened to that?

I'm disappointed in Adam but not angry. I feel bad. He's an emotional guy and I know he feels like garbage after this and now people are going to kill him online. I think the ratings will be big for this episode. There was a ton of buzz going around.
Yea seeing as this could be the final challenge and the show is nearly out on its feet I don't see them giving out 600K I don't think they have ever done more that 400K

This was a great jungle for ratings that's for sure. CT in a physical jungle with his quotes equals gold

Leroy said on his ustream that once Adam was miscuing and screwing up, CT just started going down and trucking whoever and hit Tyler about 3 times really hard. He said that Kenny/Wes (no surprise at all) and everyone else were yelling to get him DQ'd, but it was in the rules. They are all so desperate to not face CT, you could tell by the post win celebration, kind of sad really considering it was to get to the final, not to win it all. Just shows how bad they did not want to face him, you could tell how ecstatic Wes was. Just shows CT is a beast, everyone says so and clearly he was feared the most based on all the effort to get him out of there all season.
Remember the Ruins when Wes was like "Everybody here are bad people! We should be good to each other! I want to be role model!" What happened to that?
Also when he was acting than holier than thou when JEK were messing with Tonya.
Great episode despite CT and Adam BARELY losing... I mean really? They were SO close! I honestly would love nothing more than Michael and Leroy to pull out a win, but as long as Wes and Kenny don't win I guess I'll be okay. For the girls, anyone but Jenn and Mandi. Also- Wes' face when Cara Maria was telling him how much of an idiot he is made me laugh.
Kind of pathetic that the Jungle was THAT close at the end despite the fact that Adam had to make three extra trips back and forth (which would total out to well over 100 yards of sprinting I believe). I don't know if the competitors had more rules explained to them while they were there that weren't shown on camera, but when CT dove in and hit Tyler at the end when he and Adam were on their last ball, I don't know why he didn't just lay on Tyler or hold him down or something. It's easy to get on Adam's case and blame him for the loss but I think a good percentage of people in general would probably make the same mistake at least once; heck 2 out of the 4 guys did in that elimination round. His mind was probably going a million miles per hour as it was and he was trying to go as fast as possible to get the win (and probably avoid a collision in the middle because he sounded very aprehensive about physical contact before it started) and his brain and body just didn't get on the same page. When you're at that level of physical exhaustion as he was at the end and you can't even stand, you know you gave it everything you had, nothing to hang your head about.
I really enjoyed this episode. CT is a beast. I think he really matured and grew within himself the past few years. As for Jenn and Tyler, yikes. Food poisoning sucks! One of the worst feelings... Reminds me BOTSeasons when everyone got Montezuma's revenge (right before the final vote off).

If that were the case, then Johnny could have easily just held Adam down the whole time as well, wherever the **** he was.

CT was done with all 5 of his, and they said he went down and trucked Johnny/Tyler to make up time so Adam could catch up. Tells me two things. One, Ct was done way before Adam, and two, I said the same thing Townie said, Ct already dove in the middle to delay Tyler, why didn't he keep doing it so Adam could go up? Probably was in rules, but based on everything else was basically allowed, I doubt it. Kenny/Wes/others against were already apparently crying for a dq according to Leroy's ustream for CT trucking them when done with his rack. So I am not sure the exact rules. Those guys really feared CT is all i know for sure.
I'd guess that you can tackle but not hold down... (just a guess though), plus at some point, after tackling Tyler, CT realized Adam could hardly even move; he had to drag Adam to the end so unless CT knocked Tyler out cold, it seemed as though he'd have to run back to help Adam at some time.
Not gonna lie, pretty disappointed that CT and Adam couldn't pull off the win, but boy were there some highlights in it. It was a great jungle and shame they couldn't win - they deserved it more than anybody, considering how crazy their team dynamic was initially and basically having the whole house against them. I think its funny how all these clowns like Kenny, Johnny and company claim on podcasts that they aren't afraid of CT and he's not "unstoppable" but their facial expressions on the jungle say otherwise - they were terrified at the aspect of CT and Adam winning But I have to say the way CT handled the loss says a lot about his character. He never threw Adam under the bus no matter how bad he screwed up, had his back the whole challenge, and was supportive all the way. Takes a real man do that it, especially considering all the havoc he caused in that jungle.
I know it's mean but I felt some gratification out of CT bodyslamming Tyler. He's been so mean and is apparently meaner than what they show based on Ustreams, podcasts and peoples twitters. Cara Maria said when she was drunk and saying "who pooped the bed?" it was because Tyler was chewing his food, spitting it into his hand and then throwing it at her. :(
I think it would've been smart for CT & Adam to have had CT deliver a double truck on Johnny & Tyler right away on the first run through the course. #1 it would've hurt them and slowed them down a bit and #2, it probably would've made them slow down and be a bit more hesitant going through the intersection the remaining times through. Did anybody else also laugh their *** off when Jenn said she worked too hard to come this far and sit on the bench? She is ridiculous.

Not sure how fast Kenny is. Wes is a **** fine athlete though. I don't like his persona on the show but he really can kick butt in any competition. Thinking back to the Duel and such, he's good. I don't know how it would turn out. Really, if Adam didn't mentally check out, he and CT would have killed it. CT was done before anyone else it seems and Adam would have been done around the same time if he didn't have to make three trips. Before they ran Adam told CT not to think too much. LOL, sounds like he took his own advice too seriously. I would have loved to see them get to the final. At the same time though, Adam was so tired, I don't know how he would have fared in the final. He might not have had the endurance he needed. He ran out of steam going up that last hill. He was giving it his all and he couldn't climb it.
Ahhh!!!! I wish it was a two hour finale instead of split into two weeks!!! Love that Cara Maria stood up for herself and made Wes look pretty dumb and immature himself. Why couldn't he just let it go, move forward and concentrate on the final? Quit gossiping and be psyched for the final. Sucks about the food poisoning to Tyler and Jenn, wonder what they had that the others didn't? The last Jungle....well that was really close!! Can't believe it, they had it, one mistake by Adam really cost them. I'm glad to see that C.T. didn't get ****** at him though. Rofl @ Jenn and Mandi in the kayak. Makes me want to try and see if it is really that tough? Seems if you are in sync with one another it should be fine. And it was funny that Wes and Kenny's boat was backwards. Wonder if they will realize? Happy Ev/Paula and Laurel/Cara Maria are close, I like a competitive race and hope the best team wins!! Go Ev and Paula!!!!

Is it me or the quality of entertainment of this show changed? The last 2 episodes have been amazing! Great TV! They should make every challenge like this. I have no clue what they did, but it was pure magic. I feel a certain connection with the players. Like you can connect with all their struggles, victories, and their attempt to overcome all obstacles. Plus the concept of team work seems more important now than ever before.

Best episode in years. Best season in years.
CT choked again. LOL, this is like the 5th time he had a sure win and great chance at winning.......and yet he lost. How do you explain how CT loses like this? CT should have trucked them both at the start so Adam could get a lead. CT always beats himself. Let's be honest here, Wes is the only thing that made Cara interesting this season.

Whatever they did, production should continue doing it. It has been amazing so far, and I'm hooked again...didn't feel like this about the show since The Duel 1.

It was Adam who choked, not CT. Supposedly Adam was faster than Johnny and Tyler, that's why CT didn't truck them at the start. So by that logic, Adam didn't need a lead. Adam grabbed the wrong ball twice I think.
