Would you want to be on a team with Big Easy? I didn't think so...
Big Easy is getting healthier. If I was on a challenge I would pick him as a teammate because he is very strong. If you dont think so watch episode 4 of Battle of the Seasons. He had a full basket of rocks that he was holding by himself. While the other teams had half filled basket with two people holding and still struggling. Even though he quit on that season i will still pick him. Big Easy has changed since the Gauntlet 3.

Even healthier Big Easy would never be able to finish a final and is a liability--as we saw multiple times during last season. This isn't about Big Easy getting in better shape and being healthier--no one would dispute that--it is whether or not you could win with him on your team. We all know that answer is you can't. Then, on top of that, he quit--pathetic.
I'm sure Zach and others would have rather held the basket alone than with help. Eric is strong but he's not athletic.
You dont know if he will pass out in another final challenge because he hasn't been in one since because everyone would think that would happen again. I would like to see you going down in a tank filled with water and hold your breathe come back up and do it again a couple more times. Then having a crazy brizilian chick make you feel like ****.

I didn't say pass out again. There's lots of people that couldn't finish a final but it only takes common sense to realize Eric can't. Have you seen the finals lately?
I'd work with Camila any time. Even though she's psychotic she simply wants to win and was very supportive in that elimination round until he quit on her. Camila did nothing wrong UNTIL HE QUIT and Eric should never be invited back for quitting in the manner that he did. Almost everything Camila said to him at the end was true even if it was rude. ****, Camila tried to climb the **** wall after he quit--that's a true competitor. If Eric wants to prove to people that he's changed then prove it--don't quit and don't fail missions in which everyone else, even Preston, finished.
I can't stand Camila but she's earned respect as a competitor--Eric hasn't
I thought the next challenge format was going to be what we voted on MTV.com while Battle of the Seasons was airing? At this rate it seems like we ain't going to see a challenge until late this summer (August or September).
So it looks like Joi and Nia are out for this challenge.
You can book both girls for a Real World Portland premiere party.
If I remember correctly, Laurel was asked and willing to do the challenge BOTS2, but drop the offer then after she heard Big Easy would be one of her partner.
So ... since Jessica is going to South Padre, by that logic the Portland girl next Challenge is Averey...
I think you're confusing "unscheduled absences" with pre-approved leaves. Not sure where you work but if they don't provide the ability to take a scheduled leave of absence from work I'd be stunned. Look into "LOA" with your employer--they're almost always available and, if not, you would be able to get one if you fought for it.
Oh, and most people can't afford to take unpaid leave of absences which is why they don't do it. You're truly not making any sense with this post. I'm a corporate lawyer--I know all about this. If Laurel wanted a month off she could get a month off without any real problems.
Now, maybe Laurel wants certain things with this job and she's trying to make a strong impression but your comments are dead wrong. Also, ask any employer if they've fired someone JUST based on absenteeism and how that went in the courts.
I'm not confusing anything. Most employers aren't going to allow you to schedule or pre approve a month off with or without pay unless you have accrued the hours to be able to do so or have something serious like a surgery. There are exceptions of course such as lawyers or self employed people or people who work in a small business or those who work in fast food restaurants. I work in a hospital and unless you have the pho to be able to take a month off, you aren't getting that month off. Corporate world? Most business jobs? Medical field? Taking a month off doesn't happen unless you have surgery or have a baby.

I would take any guy that has ever been on a challenge/real world/road rules over Big Easy any day of the year/week/month. The dude just gave up on the last challenge. That's unacceptable. But what's worse is, every time he fails it's always someone else's fault as to why he failed. He has an excuse for everything, when the bottom line is he is not a good competitor.
Would you want to be on a team with Big Easy? I didn't think so...
I didn't ask you, nor do I underestimate every or any one.
Many, if not most, "real jobs" allow people to take unpaid leave for multiple weeks. Not sure I'm really buying that. I could see Laurel holding out for a challenge she wants to do but I can't imagine that she can't get a month off work. It would essentially be 1-2 weeks unpaid with normal vacation time given at a "real job".
I just report, you decide for yourself. It matters not to me.

The only reason to choose Big Easy is if you know you are going to need someone to sacrifice at some point in the Challenge. In a Challenge where it is everyone for themselves, I doubt he would go very far.

If anyone can find me a job that'll let me take off a month+ at a time every year, I'd gladly fill whatever postion they may have available. I'll even scrub toilets...or old people.
I'm trying to get away from this Big Easy discussion and from this job vacation thing now.
Does somebody with reliable sources know if somebody from RR or RW: Syndey was asked? Are their any speculated ones?

A teacher....?
So far out of the suspected cast I wouldn't mind seeing Zach, Frank, CT, Johnny, Leroy, Emily, & Diem on the next Challenge. I really hope to see Knight, CJ, Marie, and Ty pop up on the radar as potential cast members.

I would rather the castmembers who have strict jobs/work commitments stay home and let someone else who is available to compete for the entire five weeks be on the cast, even if I love those castmembers. It really disappointed me with Jisela on G2 because her work vacation days ran out.

I think that's a good group of people. I wouldn't mind seeing Ty again. He really grew on me on Exes and for some reason I like almost every DC cast member.

I know a fair number of cast members who had to leave challenges early for business or personal reasons. To this day, even most ardent fans have no idea that these cast members intentionally lost their elimination round.

any examples? i would love to know which elimination rounds were lost intentionally . i know the last one i can remember was Abram on the island but then again that wasn't really an elimination round

Not a chance I'm giving up that info. There is a book in draft the contains some examples and I see no need to spill that info here -- on anywhere. But you are correct about Abram and there are at ;east two examples of challenge cast members who departed for other reasons without failing in an elimination round.

That weirdo on the island that randomly quit and Alex on I3??

Why though. That was one time. The second time he had lame *** Camila and freaked out which is very reasonable. None of these people on these challenges are A-1 competitors anyway.

Take CJ and I'm good. Which Johnny though? I rather the latter one as trifle as that is.

Then why open it up for discussion then? That's ridiculous, V1. My god.
Jisela losing to Ruthie on the Gauntlet 2 was an obvious one. Diem losing to Tonya on the Ruins was one also.
Yeah I am still confused on the Diem one, because I watched the Ruins and even saw the episode again and to me, it didn't come across as if she was throwing it, she was trying wasn't she? I really didn't get any indication that was she losing it intentionally. Unless she stated that she was throwing it off camera but on camera, it didn't seem that way
