The Challenge: Rivals II - Anastasia & Jessica

Fresh off their stint on The Real World: Portland, Anastasia and Jessica may be far more at home at a makeup counter than they are on the playing field. Jessica quips, "Anastasia the athlete... said no one ever! Sports have never really been her thing from what I understand. But we're gonna change that." Jessica may be more physically capable than her willowy partner, but her perpetually sunny attitude rubs Anastasia the wrong way. Anastasia vents, "I can't believe I have to work with Miss Bubblegum Princess Sugar Walking on Cloud Nine girl. She is so annoying to me!" This team quickly makes waves when Anastasia hooks up with one of the game's most notorious troublemakers, infuriating another girl in the house. Will Anastasia's new romance win her a valuable ally? Or will this pair of princesses melt down in a hurry?

I don't really see these two making it far for some reason.
Sacrificial lambs. See ya, rookies.
Ana would be so much prettier if she didn't always feel the need to put on 50 pounds of make-up... Don't mind either of them, but out of the 5 Portland girls they cast the 2 who are the least fitting for the challenges..smh
Ana is an interesting character. I hate that people think Nia is fit for challenges because she hits people. She's a model not a professional athlete.
Ana is an interesting character. I hate that people think Nia is fit for challenges because she hits people. She's a model not a professional athlete.
When did I say that? I just said that the other three girls have each collegiate athletic background while these two are the ones who don't.... Nobody is more disgusted with Nia's before than I am, believe me...
Ana is an interesting character. I hate that people think Nia is fit for challenges because she hits people. She's a model not a professional athlete.
Nia's supposedly an athlete. I don't care at all about "interesting"--COMPETE
Ana is an interesting character. I hate that people think Nia is fit for challenges because she hits people. She's a model not a professional athlete.
She seems fit and looks like she'd be perfect for a Challenge environment.
Ana is an interesting character. I hate that people think Nia is fit for challenges because she hits people. She's a model not a professional athlete.
Who said that? I'd prefer a legit pair like Nia and Av over others on this challenge. I mean this IS rivals for ******'s sake, we want to see people who hate each other work together. Av seems like she's down for anything and Nia has athletic background (although she's not into extreme sport activities). It would be far more interesting. Ana and Jessica are "models" too. Ana and Jess seem weak both rival and physically but I'm actually rooting for Jess to do well and I guess it's going to be interesting to see how Ana performs.
I don't care about Jessica, but Anastasia is interesting and very sensitive and open, so imagine her on a challenge, especially if he hooks up with someone like CT. Oh boy. Still I do not get why they didn't cast Averey and Nia in this challenge. They both said they would do it. These two females HATE each other, so they are legitimate rivals, they came to blows, and Nia is tv gold and would be all about stirring the pot and messing with the alpha males. Oh and Nia has said she's an athlete. I know she lies, but I believe her on that one.

*sigh* It'll take me a while to get over the fact that Nia and Averey aren't the female Portland rivalry. Besides their hatred for each other, it would also allow another "rivalry" between Nia and Jordan. I also would have liked to see Nia get kicked back to earth by some vets and Averey handle herself without Johnny. But, to get back on topic, Jessica is one of the most boring RW castmembers ever. I don't know what to say about her. Bird annoyed me in Portland, but all the drama brewing with her and CT is very unexpected and interesting. I have to imagine that drama occurred early on because these two will probably be the first to go.
I think Ana will be okay but Jessica's need for attention will get her crushed quickly. I would have loved to see Nia and Avery, or hell just Nia on the Challenge. They would need to stock up on a good supply of bodybags though. Hell, Nia might get punked by guy on the Challenge for her aggressiveness when she loses. I don't think she can "speak into existence" Challenge winner either.
I think that girls are not going to like them from some reason,Jessica annoys me and is too weak for the Challenge(mentally ofcourse)

Why does everyone call Anastasia bird? Was that a nickname given to her on her season or something?
Why does everyone call Anastasia bird? Was that a nickname given to her on her season or something?
Ana said it was her nickname.
Why does everyone call Anastasia bird? Was that a nickname given to her on her season or something?
Her twitter screen name is also @QueenBirdness.

I have to echo the disappointment that this is the female Rivals pair for the Portland cast. Averey and Nia would have been amazing. Not only are they legitimate rivals who despise each other, but both appear to be athletic. I actually think the two of them would be one of the best female pairs. But ugh, Jessica. How many times will she talk about how she dirt-bikes? And how long until she sleeps with someone thus diminishing her whole "born-again virgin" facade. She's the worst.
So they didn't cast Nia.....smh.
Well, I think every RW castmember is entitled to one "complementary" challenge invite. So******* all in Ana/Jess.... But yea, I think Nia/Avery would have been wayyyyyyyyy more interesting to watch. Hell, they might have actually became friends at the end because of it. (Which tends to happen with these "rivals"). Plus, I think they could have gone far.
BMP would have needed to stock up on bodybags and cheap easily replaced furniture too.

At some point, one of them would have become annoyed, picked her up, and thrown her *** into the pool, perhaps from a second floor balcony. With luck, she would become a floater...

Of course, if Nia annoyed Wes, he play mind games and show her that she hardly wins her game of manipulation. Hell, after seeing it, I wouldn't be surprised if Aneesa uppercut Nia. Or Camila or Jemmye or .... Heaven forbid she got Emily pissed off.
BMP and MTV shouldn't and probably won't cast Nia again. She is a huge liability and doesn't bring many viewers.
BMP and MTV shouldn't and probably won't cast Nia again. She is a huge liability and doesn't bring many viewers.
I guess she is bringing in viewers to RW: PDX. But it will only take her making one wrong misstep on Challenge for a couple of cast to try and put her teeth down her throat. Of course, this will all change if the City of Portland decides to take BMP & MTV to task for things that have happened.

Nia is only bringing in 80,000 viewers compared to the average of the first 3 episodes. The average viewership numbers in episodes 2 and 3 and since Nia has arrived are nearly exactly the same, with a slight edge to the pre-Nia episodes. MTV and BMP should not cast her unless they want to watch her embarrass herself with people who will be willing to play nasty back.
MTV and BMP should not cast her unless they want to watch her embarrass herself with people who will be willing to play nasty back.
I have a feeling I might enjoy that depending upon who it is.
BMP and MTV shouldn't and probably won't cast Nia again. Btw. clearly Nia has some sort of impact to us if all we can talk about is her in multiple threads.
But weren't Av and Nia asked and one turned down the offer? Btw. clearly Nia has some sort of impact to us if all we can talk about is her in multiple threads.
Yeah, I think it was Nia who turned it down, because she had important things to do at that time. Yes, we talk about her, but not in a way were we're like "WOOOOWWW. This girl is real and raw, but like damn she needs a reality check prefereably on a challenge with people that will get under her skin and provoke her like she never felt before. That is not really good and definitely not the way BMP/MTV thought it would turn out to be..
