my gut feeling is that they're just throwing Cohutta on the vets team and Easy was never on it. The male lineups would look like this:
Vet Males
1-Brandon
2-Chet
3-CT
4-Cohutta
5-Johnny Bananas
6-Leroy
7-Ty
Rookie Males
1-Dustin
2-Frank
3-Johnny Reilly
4-Jordan
5-Zach
6-Swift
7-Preston
Yeah, someone posted this earlier, and it could be the case.
However, that would mean they have different criteria for how the guys and girls' teams are assembled. For girls, one side has 0-2, the other is 3+ (not including this Challenge). For guys, it would be 0-2 for rookies, 3+ for guys or you come from an older season. After all, Zito, Frank, Zach, and Cohutta all have the same number of appearances.
Also, the Vets would have one of the best "weakest links" imaginable. Their worst player would either be a guy who beat Wes in an elimination and gave Derrick a good run, a guy who played college football, a guy with great endurance and puzzle solving ability, or a guy who won several eliminations on Cutthroat.
right, it would change the criteria, but they could just explain it by saying if someones first challenge was Battle of the Exes or later then they're a rookie.
lol the show got good when those 3 showed up
you must have only started watching in 2007 then. Only thing that's gotten better are the missions and they didn't have anything to do with that.
This thread is "pointless speculation". Not a anything-goes-no-holds-bars thread where you guys can fight it out. It's getting closed the next time it happens.

Even then, you'd have Emilee...but I get your point. They can reword some things and no one's going to care.
ETA: Understood, Cystic.

Preston isn't on it and they wouldn't put cohutta who has done the same amount of challenges as Zach or Frank on the veterans
*skims through pages since last posting*
...Yeah, wow.
So, like, why is everyone speculating another veteran if Eric is not there, when in fact he could have been:
A) Eliminated, or
B) Quit early due to reasons
If, by some chance, Eric never ended up on the show, Dunbar would be my choice to represent the Veterans.
you guys are having so much trouble figuring out the rookies vs vets teams and who goes where.
Has it ever crossed your mind that its not even a RvV challenge.
I'm going to speculate that maybe this isn't a rookie vs. vet challenge. Maybe it's reminiscent of an older challenge but still a new format. That is what I will assume for now or maybe Easy could have quit early or maybe he was never there at all, who really knows.
Are Derrick, CT, Alton, Landon, and Darrell not good at both endurance and shorter events? Are Chet and Diem not good at endurance, while being weaker at individual challenges? Are Jordan and Zach not the most likely to be stars in the next few years? Did Johnny not build his rep by riding the coattails of two guys who are now banned for life? Was Johnny impressive in Rivals II? Was Devyn the strong link on the Brooklyn team? If you disagree with me, I guess you would answer "yes" to those questions...
I agree. Everyplayer (almost...) have strengths and weaknesses, some are good at endurance, others puzzles, etc.

That's what I'm wondering. But if there is 1 or 2 more females idk who it could be, it seems like all recent rw/challenge ladies are active via social media. So if there is another girl she'd be a surprise.
Kenny allegedly raped Tonya with a toothbrush... but oh no, Nia starting a fight with Averey and Johnny is just vile!
I totally agree! And Nia didn't even start that fight, it all started with Johnny putting a snotty tissue on her and attempting to throw the energy drink on her.
Never understood why Nia gets so much hate when JEK has done worse to people and even CT, who literally could have killed Adam K on The Duel 2, and punched Davis back on the Inferno III, gets all the love. No clue.

JEK gets a ton of hate for what they have done to people. The reason why CT doesn't get hate is because of 2 reasons:
1. There is a double standard with the way people treat men and women who are on TV
2. CT was on TV for years before he started getting violent, so people were willing to look past his bad for his good. Nia never showed any redeeming qualities.

CT was pretty violent back on RW Paris, or am I thinking wrong? Idk, I feel like Nia will do better in the challenge. She wasn't constantly a vile person in Portland though.
CT's fight with Adam King was almost directly after his brother was murdered and he was looking for someone to hurt. Just about everyone, including Adam, has forgiven CT for that. It was not normal circumstances. Davis insulted him and he retaliated. I'm not saying it is right or wrong just what happened.
But in either case, he did not pick an object to go and try to beat their skull. Nia did. Whether or not Johnny started it is irrelevant. She crossed the line once she picked up the hairdryer. If you listen to the accounts of the fight from Johnny, Averey, and Jordan on the Bus Driver interviews on youtube, they will all tell you that she got a very favorable edit, even the production cameramen were siding with Johnny.
As far as I'm concerned, the city of Portland should have filed the lawsuit and arrested Nia for aggravated assault (because she used a foreign object). The footage alone would have convicted her.
I'm done discussing this here....

Just like Johnny threw the drink on Nia, she retaliated.
I've had people close to me pass away before, but I don't go beating people up.. but that's just me.
I'm just saying, people don't look at situations from both sides. Johnny was not only rude to Nia, but Jessica and Anastasia aswell. But I'm done discussing too.
I hate Nia and Kenny and do not feel the need to weigh the two in vile, disgusting, meanness. What's the point in saying one is the lesser of two evils, they are both black at heart.
The thing about Nia is that she calculated all her actions for the Real World, nothing was genuine. All her fights were calculated even though they backfire at her. She wasn't real, she though by creating this character she was going to get the ratings and attention she was desperate for, she didn't it was still the worsed rated season in 28th seasons. CT fights were not pre calculated they were genuine, even though they were on the heat of the moment and he was really intoxicated.

Well, she is on the upcoming challenge so.. get to drinking.

So you don't want to discuss the players in the upcoming challenge?
I'm still disappointed in the female cast. I was hoping for a couple of good surprises like Kim Alexander or something.

Yeah because you obviously have the same personality and lifestyle as CT.
Adam and Davis are both punks anyways and people would much rather have CT on their screens than Adam, Davis, or that Frenchman from Paris.

Regrettably, Kim has retired from the Challenges following Ruins. V1 said she was waitressing or bartending in Nashville

Yeah, I am friends with her on Facebook. She is a bartender in Nashville.

I would have love to see Simon on a challenge over Davis and Adam...he looks in great shape now.

I always liked Kim. I think most people on here do.
