The finals (other than the Island) are based on conditioning. People like Chet and Diem, who aren't great in the Challenges, are very good in finals because they have lots of endurance. In other words, Leroy would destroy Chet in the majority of eliminations but in a final, I'd rather have Chet. It's almost two entirely different skillsets. A handful of people have both skillsets like Derrick, CT, Alton, Landon, Darrell, and to a lesser extent, Wes, and that's why those people are Challenge legends. I think Jordan and Zach are both going to be in that category as well, if the show continues for a while. Johnny is not great when it comes to endurance, outside of Exes. He was very bad on Rivals II, we all know how Rivals I played out, The Island was the one exception to the rule about finals, and in the Ruins, they went up against 2 girls. Johnny's strength is finding a way to get to the final despite not being a superstar in missions and eliminations. Then, when he is on the final challenge, he isn't a complete liability. Good for him. And when it comes to Brooklyn's 3rd place finish, I don't know what to say if you think that is on Chet (or Sarah or JD).
Your ignorance is astounding
So did your boi Kenny on rivals...and ruins
Ruins when he dominated the entire season politically and physically and won the grand prize? Or Rivals when he dominated the finale and literally carried his partner on his back up a mountain after his partner gassed out like a loser?
But is it speculation or is just generic talk? That's where I was getting at.
Whats the difference? Why must everything be so defined? Can't people just riff on the show, isn't that why we are all here?
He swam well on Cutthroat and was the best on Logged Out on BoTS, along with Sarah. His weaknesses are strength, athleticism for short eliminations, and not having a lot of important allies.
Strength, Athleticism, and Alliances .... so he's only bad at the important stuff ... gotcha
Ruins when he dominated the entire season politically and physically and won the grand prize? Or Rivals when he dominated the finale and literally carried his partner on his back up a mountain after his partner gassed out like a loser?
Or where his partner carried him throughout 11 episodes? Your burning passion for Kenny and negativity towards anybody outside of JEK is a bit strange. You hiding something from us?

Chet would smash majority of the people in a final. He's quick, has great endurance, and is very good at puzzles. All qualities needed to win a final. Isn't he also a great swimmer?
Can we take the discussion of Chet and Kenny's abilities, etc. to the generic thread?
Lol Kenny would smoke Chet in an elimination round. We'll see just how good the bowtie killa is when the new season airs next year. I'm putting money right now that he won't even make it to the final.
Your ignorance is astounding
I've explained how various players have strengths and weaknesses based on their performances on various iterations on the show, with specific examples. Disprove one claim I made. Just try without sounding like a fanboy of a rapist and his sidekick. Are Derrick, CT, Alton, Landon, and Darrell not good at both endurance and shorter events? Are Chet and Diem not good at endurance, while being weaker at individual challenges? Are Jordan and Zach not the most likely to be stars in the next few years? Did Johnny not build his rep by riding the coattails of two guys who are now banned for life? Was Johnny impressive in Rivals II? Was Devyn the strong link on the Brooklyn team? If you disagree with me, I guess you would answer "yes" to those questions... Apparently your definition of ignorance is any post that doesn't give online ******** to a former fat kid from New Jersey who found a way to get himself banned from the show, something hundreds of people who came before him couldn't do, even with Bunim-Murray's increasingly lax standards. It is hard for me to figure out how someone can idolize a guy who won his first challenge by losing his only face-off and then proceeded to just push around a bunch of weak-minded people, but hey, to each his own. I guess some people find Kenny's schtick of imitating late 1990s WWE promos of the Rock entertaining as well. And fwiw, your idol's shtick, which is just a really bad impression of the Rock in the late 1990s WWE Attitude Era, is about as funny as an infant's funeral.

ETA: My claim from the start is that if I was going to create a "Dream Team" for a Final, and nothing but a Final, with a Vets' team consisting of CT, Johnny, Chet, Leroy, Brandon, Ty, and Easy, that Chet would be my second pick. Brandon or Johnny would be my third (the other would then be my 4th pick).
Paula tweeted this: "what's 6 feet tall digs for gold and sucks her thumb #fillintheblank" and I think some other things
hahaha good for paula, I can think of much worse to say ... she ruined that season and possibly the entire real world franchise for me....the fact she was allowed to not work and assault others when nobody else ever was completely turned me off watching
hahaha good for paula, I can think of much worse to say ... she ruined that season and possibly the entire real world franchise for me....the fact she was allowed to not work and assault others when nobody else ever was completely turned me off watching
Kenny allegedly raped Tonya with a toothbrush... but oh no, Nia starting a fight with Averey and Johnny is just vile!
hahaha good for paula, I can think of much worse to say ... she ruined that season and possibly the entire real world franchise for me....the fact she was allowed to not work and assault others when nobody else ever was completely turned me off watching
Can't disagree with anything here. Joey from Cancun was kicked off for so much less, not to mention Stephen from Vegas (Gauntlet?). ETA: If I was in charge, Evan, Kenny, and Nia would all be banned for life. I would have also banned CT after the Duel II, which would have deprived us of the past 3 performances, but there should be some standards.
I'm so tired of reading about the ruins rapist. I don't understand why this can't be discussed in the generic thread? I mean, Discussing him in general is pointless but he has nothing to do with "The Challenge: Fall 2013."
Can I have my Camila gif back? Pleeeeeease? Lol.
Kenny allegedly raped Tonya with a toothbrush... but oh no, Nia starting a fight with Averey and Johnny is just vile!
Key word... I always wondered who's toothbrush they used. My guess is either Wes or Johnny.
Irregardless, he is banned for good reason and good riddance.
Disagree. Dustin impressed me In oil wrestling going against Zach and did quite well it was that challenge that made me realize Dustin was a good competitor.
No, I agree. Dustin did prove he was a great competitor throughout the whole challenge. It's just that some don't see that mission useful evidence to compare others athleticism/strength.
Of jek kennys wins are least impressive of all of jek Anyway who does everyone honestly think is the extra vet guy keyword vet? I am stickin with dunbar with adam k my backup but i still feel format is the same big easy or not.. Although after investigating the video dunbar just talked about with russell brand was uploaded yesterday so not sure why a third party tweeter would comment on a new video for dunbar so dunbar is iffy now so i am skeptical. The political tweets totally can be pre written but a new video not sure
Only reason I don't think it's Dunbar is because of the Twitter account. I know he has some automated tweets, but he's posted some stuff about his political views and a photo of the Mississippi highway, and I don't think those are automated. They seem like something he would regularly post, and that's just too much work to have a friend set up. Adam King would be interesting, especially if CT thinks he threw the Rivals elimination.
If Adam king is not on this challenge ,it would be the first time CT does a challenge without adam king or Diem since Inferno 2.
Or where his partner carried him throughout 11 episodes? Your burning passion for Kenny and negativity towards anybody outside of JEK is a bit strange. You hiding something from us?
Wes didnt protect him from anything, kenny held all the cards politically and carried them in most eliminations and definitely the final ... the only burning around here is most of you rubbing off to wes and worshiping him n ev and every other duster around ... jek is the best seasons of this show, it deserves to be pointed out
I'm so tired of reading about the ruins rapist. I don't understand why this can't be discussed in the generic thread? I mean, Discussing him in general is pointless but he has nothing to do with "The Challenge: Fall 2013."
Truer words have never been spoken.
Wes didnt protect him from anything, kenny held all the cards politically and carried them in most eliminations and definitely the final ... the only burning around here is most of you rubbing off to wes and worshiping him n ev and every other duster around ... jek is the best seasons of this show, it deserves to be pointed out
Absolutely not true. Wes carried Kenny in almost all of the missions and eliminations. The best seasons of the show were prior to FM1.
I think this new season has a great mix of cast to entertain and be competitive... As far as kenny he mentions carrying wes everyday of his life yet in the challenge u have to survive every mission and every elimination to make the final and if wes cant outclimb brandon on the rope thsn kenny never would be in the final they would have been out.. You cant politic out if finishing last and not being able to do the elimination.. Kenny got the team he wanted in the elimination he caused by messing up and couldnt do it wes did.. Kenny is good at politics and finals move on
Absolutely not true. Wes carried Kenny in almost all of the missions and eliminations. The best seasons of the show were prior to FM1.
That's right. The best seasons of this show were way before those three idiots showed up and ruined everything.
You cant politic out if finishing last and not being able to do the elimination.. Kenny got the team he wanted in the elimination he caused by messing up and couldnt do it wes did.
Tyrie, whose word I'll believe because he was in the actual elimination, made a point of saying earlier here on Vevmo, that throwing punches and few other things that were illegal were done by Kenny in an attempt to win the Elimination. Yet, even cheating in an attempt to win, it was Wes who won the Elimination for them and not Kenny.
That's right. The best seasons of this show were way before those three idiots showed up and ruined everything.
lol the show got good when those 3 showed up
In defense of Kenny (who I've never said isn't a good competitor btw, KK), the stuff Tyrie mentioned happens on a bunch of the eliminations. Marlon even admitted he was choking Ty on an interview, so it isn't like Kenny punching Tyrie was the only time TJ or a producer didn't step in.
