It's unbelievable that the person who gives the info gets attacked! No wonder molds isn't giving spoilers anymore...
Agreed. This board has really become a hive of negativity. I know I don't post much but I lurked for a long time before joining.
Part of me wonders why people get so wrapped up into a TV show that they yell and scream online about how anyone can win but Bananas!!! Oh no!!! PLEASE GOD NO!!!!!
As a big a fan as I am of The Challenge, there really is more to life than to argue over whether CT can beat so and so in an elimination. The reason is we will never really know because eliminations can be so different. In Cutthroat, Bananas got beat by Tyler in an elimination because a hulked up CT expended every ounce of energy he had to beat him, then struggled to move Tyler because he was gassed. From the first Duel, can beating someone in "I Can" make you a better player? Probably not because it's a stupid game in the first place.
My point is, each time someone goes into an elimination they have do not have a 50-50 shot of winning or losing. The Challenge is a great show and a great test of endurance but the truth is not all of the competitors get the same treatment which keeps it from being an actual sport. In an actual sport, the rules are agreed to ahead of time and both teams have a fair shot of winning. In a football game, the winner is determined by who has the better team. In The Challenge, it's a combination of politics, skill, athletic ability, and a helluva lot of luck. Why? Because it is a reality TV show featuring competition rather than a competition with reality pieces interspersed.
It's why the pipe dream casting of bringing back cast members whose last Challenge was in the first Battle of the Sexes ERA is so laughable at times. These people are in their 30s and have kids/normal lives, most of them aren't interested. Then you have the people that are but have been so boring on the show in the past it makes no sense to cast them because they bring nothing to the viewership.
The reality of this show is most people that aren't the hardcore fans, only started watching during the Gauntlet 3 era on. They remember The Island, Duel 2, The Ruins, Fresh Meat 2, etc. So casting a Timmy (one of my personal favorites) is never happening because he's too old, has a permanent injury from his final elimination, and more importantly is known to less than 5% of the current viewing audience. This is why CT, Bananas, Paula, etc. always get cast or at least calls about coming on the show. These are the characters people know and want to root for or against. It's why Kenny and Evan (despite what they allegedly did) are bombarded on Twitter 24/7 about coming back on the show. Today's average viewer wants to see their "old favorites" back.
The counter to my argument is, well cast them and teach the new audience to love the character. Well, it doesn't quite work that way. First, their original Real World or Road Rules season was so long ago trying to catch people up on who they are and why they are on the show will prove to not be worth MTV or B/M's time when they can just call Bananas and they know he will say yes.
Secondly, if you watch Survivor the older people in the competition typically don't win anymore. Why? Because they proved to be less than stellar in the challenges and survived via politics. In The Challenge, if you stink athletically you are probably not going to win the show or make the final. See Big Easy on G3. He made it to the final because the guys did not want to go one-on-one with him and it cost them a win. In later challenges, his team always sent him into eliminations because they knew he could not finish a final.
So, now that I've rambled I'll close with this. I love this show. It entertains me all the time and even my wife has gotten into it because I purchase the seasons on iTunes. I've downloaded old seasons through torrents and bought some of the rare ones on websites. That said, I realize this is a TV show and when I get the hankering to see the older cast, I throw on one of the old seasons and binge watch over the course of the week after my wife goes to sleep at night. Then I eagerly away the new season because The Challenge is still one of the most consistently entertaining shows out there. Even when my favorites don't win, it's ok because the sun comes up in the morrow.
If you really want to see the old cast, track it down. Heck, I have every season from the first Battle of the Seasons up through Inferno 3 without iTunes protection on it except for the first Gauntlet. I'll sell flash drives of them or upload them slowly to Youtube for the right price.
So enjoy Free Agents. We finally have a new concept that might level the playing field for once. Keep an open mind.

What I dislike hate most about him is the sense of entitlement he has developed about the Challenge (whether it is winning, being in a power position, or just simply being on one). He sent in a written complaint to BMP/MTV about not even receiving an availability call for Battle of the Seasons (Tyler did this as well). What kind of whiny ***** move is that? You had been on 8 prior seasons, won 4, and couldn't accept the idea of a season without you? Pathetic. Almost every season he's been on has ended up being predictable, people are too stupid to get rid of him and he skates to the end.
I agree I tired of seeing him cause he has won enough to the point it's not even entertaining to watch , does he deserve those wins yes I will never shade him for that whether he did that with an alliance or not who cares it happened , All I'm saying is if he did in fact not go into any eliminations and then win , It's ok because this should be his last challenge , I don't care how many written complaints he writes , they should retire him , so that someone new can take over because that really is the only way it's going to happen.
I also sat on the format and cast I will say this , I still feel like this is the wrong cast for this format , they should have just added 1 more male/female and made it a cutthroat 2 but there still several root able people like Isaac/Johnny R/Jordan.
I hate the draw playing a game with luck is just plain stupid.
PinkRose was attacked via private message? That's repulsive. It's a ******* reality television show. If you're invested to the point that you attack someone for providing one of the only sources of information for whatever reason, you need to reevaluate where you're going in life.
Vevmo has become a hostile environment. When I accidentally stumbled upon this site from a google search of "CT Tina Cutthroat", I thought it was awesome that there was a whole online forum dedicated to one of my favorite shows, and even cast members like Ashley L, Jasmine, Tyrie, Devyn, and a few others would join in. Molds used to be the gif queen and her posts were blunt and hilarious. V1 would offer some great information and insight as well. Since then it has devolved into argument upon argument upon argument. It almost makes me want to change my username to LurkerOnceMore and leave.
So I'm guessing males and females participate in the same kind of eliminations like in cutthroat, if that's the case I like that.
The return of individual eliminations is probably one of the best things about this season. We have had a few really good partner eliminations (Knot So Fast, T-bone, Unburied), but going back to basics is a very welcomed change!

Are you serious? He wrote them a letter? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA That is Funny as hell AND pathetic.

Individual is not back to basics. That would be Team challenges.
Okay, so since it's been done a few times before, I'll give my peace and leave this place and come back in one month's time for this challenge.
You guys all have different thoughts on who wins and whatnot, and quite frankly, it's getting tiring to see one poster pushing for their information to be the "end all" to a season that has close to no true spoilers. I, for one, am excited for this challenge, because it'll be the first challenge since Exes -- since I returned fully to the show -- that I don't fully know what will happen...and to be honest, I like it like that.
As to those people attacking PinkRose -- shame! FFS, it's a reality television show (and I bet you still believe everything that happens on camera, right?), and at the least, you should be grateful that someone like Pink can come on here and give spoilers -- Lex also deserves some credit as well, as do a few other posters who gave their part of the spoilers out.
Without molds, I knew it was only a matter of time before people started arguing because they didn't believe a certain poster's spoiler, and instead catered to someone else...it's childish to say the least.
I'm saying this now, IDGAF if Bananas wins this challenge; good for him. It'll be proven throughout this season if he earned it or not -- if that actually happens. And if Bananas wins, I'll personally give Pink the thanks that he/she rightfully deserves!
Until that time, adios!
I personally like not knowing who won this season and who was eliminated this season because first time in a long time I'm going to be surprised about the outcome so I can root for Leroy if he makes it to the final unlike past seasons where I felt it there was no point in rooting for anyone if I already knew the outcome.
Some interesting screenshots that I didn't notice from the trailer originally:

Classy photos.
Datraceman had one of my favorite posts in this topic so far. But yeah, don't let your crazy, fanboyism get in the way of enjoying a show that's meant to be entertaining as opposed to an actual sport.
At this point I just skip over the spoilers now because I want to be mildly entertained. I know already who makes it to the end, but the fun is the journey getting there.

I think they probably are together as today, both have been leaving hints and been flirtatious on twitter.

To me it looks like the Laurel/Camila fight could have been them just messing around. You can't see Camila's mouth but it looks like she could be laughing and I can't tell whether that is Aneesa or Nany in the middle but she is clearly laughing.
I think they probably are together as today, both have been leaving hints and been flirtatious on twitter.
I have heard they are together boyfriend and girlfriend, but don't trust me on the one 100%
I'm hoping for an actual intro this season with the contestants names. Not the dumbs ones from Rivals and Rivals II. I didn't really care for Seasons or Exes either.

They are still following each other on twitter

Both Rivals and Exes Intros were horrible but I liked Seasons Intro.
But I too hope we get a legitimate intro.
Yeah as long its not like the duel 2 intro im fine that one is just horrible for me to watch
I agree. The Duel 2 intro was TERRIBLE! one of the worst ever.
on mtv they uploaded a new video with cara maria doing behind the scene of getting to the challenge it was pretty cool hopefully they have one of ct arriving as well

This was cool. Hopefully they give out more videos.

Well too bad. pink Rose IS our new information but at the same time she's no MontanaLives. In short, don't be condescending to us like 3 other members here who left were like (all the damn time at that). Also, if we as fans believe it or not what happens on screen is sometimes all we have to go on so no need to get snappy. Knowing every nook and cranny takes the fun out the show and experience. Besides JEKWD and Laurel and friends, lol.
I have heard they are together boyfriend and girlfriend, but don't trust me on the one 100%
I hope so, they make a great couple. Both Jordan/Laurel and Cohutta/Nany would make great Exes teams.

They should do an intro like Cutthroat, for me it was great.
