I know this had probably been done 100 times on Vevmo before but new people join all the time so I just want to see what people's Top 10 challenges are. The Gauntlet was the first challenge I remember watching, so I am only going to include challenges starting with that season.

10. Battle of the Exes II- with a lackluster cast, it actually turned out to be a pretty exciting season. The Ex-iled twist was awesome and I really enjoyed it. At first I did not like the addition of the AYTO cast, but John seems like a funny entertaining dude, I don't remember much about Simone, Adam seems like a decent competitor that I can see being a regular, and Brittany I can see being a regular too. Overall it surprised me as being a pretty cool challenge.

9. The Ruins- if I were rating challenges in terms of only casting, The Ruins would take No. 1 all day. The cast they ***embled specifically for the Champions team was insane. I remember I joined this forum while speculation/spoilers were going on and when the Moderator released the cast I legitimately thought it was some fantasy fan made cast. Wes, Syrus, Ibis, Veronica, Susie, Darrell. I saw those people and couldn't believe. The drama was through the roof, 4 people going home by DQ or quitting. It was insane. The Wes/Kenny/Cohutta/Johanna/KellyAnne pentagon not only brought personal drama but awesome political game drama as well. The reason why it so low on the list is strictly because it was a blow out. 9-1 is pitiful. The Challengers fought back in the Ruins but even the elimination rounds were not that great. Susie vs. Kim was the best one all season. Wes vs. Cohutta was good in terms of what was behind it but I wish it were another game.

8. Free Agents- the most creative challenge ever! I don't think anyone thought of that idea before to have a challenge that incorporated Gauntlet/Rivals/Duel format challenges in one season. Unpredictable at every turn because no one knew who was going to go in. The challenges were awesome and some of the elimination were memorable and competitive. However, it falls to No. 8 simply because the final challenge sucked! It was too predictable. It would have been much better if the guys were Bananas/CT/Johnny and the girls were Theresa/Laurel/Cara Maria. Also, I have a similar issue with the casting as a lot of others on here; with no themed format to limit casting, BMP had the opportunity to ask some old school people but they didn't.

7. Cutthroat- a lot of people may disagree but I really liked the Cutthroat format and I hope we see a second installment. Casting could have been a bit better but the challenges we saw on Cutthroat were some of the best we have ever seen. Bottleneck Stampede was probably the coolest challenge ever. When have we ever seen 24 people all compete at once fighting, scratching, and clawing to the finish line? Never before and we haven't since. Riot Act was also one of the most ****** challenges ever as well. I loved the WWII post-apocalyptic feel the challenge had and how they incorporated the elimination rounds and some challenges into the theme of the challenge. Something they need to do more often. The triple threat format was great. However, it is lower because I absolutely hated who ended up winning. I wanted the Gray Team to win. But Cutthroat at No. 7 is fitting.

6. The Inferno- I had to put an old school challenge on here. The great thing about this challenge was even today, it is TV gold. The drama that unfolded was so memorable and entertaining, something we don't see enough of these days. Now we see 10 minutes of a guy throwing a girls clothes in the pool and a guy spraying a girl with ketchup. The old cast members provided drama that was fun to watch. Casting was awesome for its time and who can complain about a format of what these challenges started as; Real World vs. Road Rules. However, it is at No. 6 for a reason that I do like the newer challenges better and that is the challenges back then were kind of a joke. The Infernos were ******* stupid. We had a chili eating contest, who can last longer in a tub of gross shit, who can last longer with bugs on their face, who can last longer standing on a plank listening to loud sounds, and who can handle milk/cookies without throwing up. I would much rather see elimination rounds like Last Chance, Rag Doll, X Battle, Balls In, Looper, etc. as determining who stays and who is eliminated. Not who has a stronger stomach.

5. The Gauntlet III- say what you will about The Gauntlet III, it was a great season. Yes, it was lopsided and the ending was total Bullshit, but the drama provided was great and unlike The Ruins, the drama was great on Veterans side, the Rookies side, and even it got good with drama from people on opposing teams. If the Rookies team were a little better it would be higher, but The Gauntlet III fits in at 5 for me.

4. Rivals- I for one enjoyed the challenges with Johnny, Kenny, and Evan so this was great. The Rivals house was absolutely the best challenges house ever, not that it plays into my decision. CT returning was really cool. As far as casting goes, I will say they recycled a little too many people from the previous season (Cutthroat). Some of the challenges were good but a little too many water/heights/timed challenges for me, but Car Crusher and High Dive were really cool to watch. The elimination rounds were decent too. I really would have liked to see Adam/CT win, so that was unpredictable to see them get eliminated because I think a lot of people thought they would make it to the end and win to solidify them coming over everything they went through. Evan going home was something we hadn't seen in a while either so that shocked me too even though he lost on purpose. However, the girls side was completely predictable the final 3 teams I called from day 1 which is why it is No. 4.

3. The Duel- In my opinion, this was the strongest male cast ever ***embled on these shows. 9 out of the 10 guys are challenge champions (with the exception of Eric). Similar to Rivals, the girls side of things were a little easier to predict. It was cool to see the Fresh Meat cast members interact with people that were not on Fresh Meat. Back then I didn't know that Fresh Meat would be treated as an "Original season" so I didn't think we would see the Fresh Meat people again, but it was cool that they did. Sorry Debut Album. I was rooting for Wes from day 1 because I thought we was a ****** on Fresh Meat and I thought it was awesome to see him win. I had a really tough time deciding between The Duel and my No. 2 challenge.

2. Fresh Meat- Once again, sorry Debut Album, but Fresh Meat was incredible for me. Twists and turns all over the place. People went home that we never saw go home before. Completely unpredictable from day 1. No one would have predicted the final 3 teams. Wes coming in as a rookie and running the table on everyone and sending home almost half the cast was ******* sick. His rebelious, snarky, sarcastic, cocky attitude was awesome. The cast was awesome especially since 16 out of the 24 people were completely new to the challenge, and half the cast we had never even seen before, they brought it for sure. BMP did an awesome job with casting the Fresh Meat. Some were boring, but others (Evan, Kenny, Casey, Diem) didn't just take a backseat role, they actually got into the politics and drama and it was a great challenge.

1. The Inferno II- While The Gauntlet was the first challenge I watched on TV, The Inferno II was the first challenge I watched on a weekly basis and that I actually kept up with. Neck and neck in terms of competition, the drama was great, the cast was flawless (except Jon) and I couldn't have casted it better myself, the challenges were cool, they actually started doing cool elimination rounds that required some type of physical ability, and it was the first challenge that introduced a new format (other than Guys vs. Girls and RW vs. RR). 7 out of 10 guys on that challenge are guys most people would put on a fantasy Duel challenge and the all the ****** girls and depending on who your talking to 1-3 of the Good Guys girls would be on a fantasy girls cast as well. There were no weak points of The Inferno II and still to this day my favorite challenge and most likely probably always will be my favorite.

mine are the gauntlet, inferno, inferno ii, exes 2, rivals 1, gauntlet 2, battle of the seasons 1, ruins, cuthroat and inferno 3. i loved the cast on the gauntlet with darrell, alton, abram, the miz, both  theos, irulan, veronica, roni, rachel, dave, cara and coral.  i just wish tina lasted longer and timmy was on that season.  the inferno also had a great cast.  battle of the seasons 1 wold of been better if instead of a vote off they had an elimination round.  i like the format of the ruins but the teams were so unbalanced.  gauntlet was a great season with a really weak final.  i liked inferno 3 because derrick got a win.  i would have enjoyed rivals 1 more if ct and adam won the whole thing.  i loved seeing the mob being terrified of ct.  this is when i started rooting for ct.  it was also jonna and leroys rookie season.  they have become two of my more favorite cast members.

I'm fairly new to the challenge, I mean I know facts about it but I haven't watched many seasons I've only seen these 10 so that'd why there isn't any better ones

MTV The Challenge Gauntlet 4

Two teams will be divided by the amount of challenges each cast member has competed in.  The veterans have been on at least two prior challenges.  Each team will have two team captains: one male and one female.  Prior to each challenge, each team will nominate two males or two females from the opposite team (depending on a male or female day elimination) for possible elimination.  The team captains can not be nominated.  After each team challenge, the losing team captains will be sent into the gauntlet.  instead of facing a cast member of their own team they will face a cast member on the opposite team.  The team captains from the winning team will be safe from the gauntlet and choose one of their nominated team member to face the opposing team captain in the gauntlet.  If a captain is eliminated, the team will nominate a new team captain.  If the team cannot decide on a team captain, the opposing team will choose the team captain.

IMO your list is okay mainly because it has challenges that IMO were pure shit(The Ruins/The Guantlet 3)  A season that only had a few redeeming qualities(Rivals 1) and a season that was very decent in retrospect(Fresh Meat 1) and a unique but flawed season(Free Agents) But good on including Exes 2/Inferno 1 and 2/Cutthroat.

I know this had probably been done 100 times on Vevmo before but new people join all the time so I just want to see what people's Top 10 challenges are. The Gauntlet was the first challenge I remember watching, so I am only going to include challenges starting with that season.

The drama that unfolded w***o memorable and entertaining, something we don't see enough of these days.

Evan going home w***omething we hadn't seen in a while either so that shocked me too even though he lost on purpose.

Wes coming in as a rookie and running the table on everyone and sending home almost half the cast w***ick.

This was a great review to read. I agree with everything you said about The Inferno II, The Inferno, The Duel and Cutthroat. I also remember reading the spoilers for when The Ruins cast was announced. I w***o happy because like you said, it felt like a ****** awesome fantasy cast. The Ruins had one of the best casts in Challenge history because it included a great mixture of old and new school competitors. I just wish the Challengers were better so it could have been a great competitive season. If the Challengers had people like Aneesa, Baya, Brittini, CT, Ryan C., Ruthie and Scott, the competition would've been amazing to watch.

I remember I joined this forum while speculation/spoilers were going on and when the Moderator released the cast I legitimately thought it w***ome fantasy fan made cast.

Thank you, I appreciate it.

As far as the Challengers on The Ruins, I honestly don't think anyone would have helped them because the Champions minus Syrus had at the time 6 of the best guys to ever be on a challenge. I mean obviously, CT would have helped the Challengers but I still don't think it would have a difference in the end.

The Challenge: Bloodlines (Only blood related cast memebrs)

32 competitor arrived in Africa expecting to be teamed up with a family member or a rookie. Little do they know, this is an individual game, and they’ll be answering to no one but themselves in the most unpredictable Challenge ever competing against their love ones.

The players will have no idea if they’ll be competing in teams, pairs or as individuals until moments before each challenge begins. If it's teams or pair the bloodlines are not allowed to be on the same team. Winners are not only safe from elimination, but also have the power to choose one guy and one girl to send in. The losers from that day’s challenge must take part in the game’s biggest elimination twist yet, "The Jury" where eliminated players will decide the faith of one  girl and one guy.

Old tensions will arise and new feuds will form. Blood will be tested, romances will blossom, hearts will be broken, and punches will be thrown, as battles rage both on and off the playing field.

(12 eliminations, 8 finalist and 4th place gets nothing in teh final. )

Kenny and ALex (Brothers, Fresh Meat)

Mike and Jon (Brothers, Real World: DC)

Thomas and Stephen (Brothers, RW: Explosion)

Cory and Ashud (Brothers, Real World: Explosion)

Chris "Scali" and Joe (Brothers, Are You The One)

Jordan and Branden (Brothers, Real World: Portland)

Tony and Shane ( Brothers, REal World Skeletons)

Zach and Dan (Brothers, Real WOrld: San Diego)

Latoya and Kimberly (Sisters, Real World: St. Thomas)

Nia/Makeda (Sisters, Real World: Portland)

Marie/Kristie (Sisters, Real World: ST.Thomas)

Kayla and Kristen (Sisters, Are You The One)

Violetta and Irena (Real World: Skeletons, Cousins)

Madison and Rachel (Real World: Skeletons, Sisters)

Averey and Jena (Real World: Portand, sisters)

Nany and Nicole (Real World: Las Vegas 2, Cousins)

A house with this alumni cast would be dramatic: : latoya, Marie, Nia, Kayla, Violetta, Averey, Nany, Cory, SCali, Jordan, Tony and Zach on paper look like drama. No idea about the bloodlines.

Lol is this going to be next seasons cast or something? No offense, I hope not.

Nope, highly doubt it. But I wouldnt be surprised if some of them end being on it.

This cast is perfect. Nia/Makeda/LaToya/Kimberly would be perfecctiioonn. Not a fan of the format though. Would much rather see them split into two teams so we can be gaurenteed bloodline screen time.

Kimberly is in the army right now, so I higjly doubt her no idea about her other sister
