Replace Kim, Sarah, Vinny with Cara Maria, Aneesa and Mark Long; Replace Svetlana, Ryan, Mike(because i couldn't see any of them doing it) with Nany, Zach(SDII), and Bronne and we have a pretty decent (and somewhat possible) cast.
@ballinbroken
Ty would be a rookie and Vinny should be one too.
Add Cara Maria and Evelyn to the Vets :)
Ty and Vinny have done two challenges. That would make them Vets, as far as BMP is concerned.

The Challenge: Rivals 2
***Same *** teams***
Guys:
Dan (RR: Viewer's Revenge) & Dave (RW: Hollywood).
- Dan got in Dave's face on The Island after Dave went behind Dan's back saying that he wanted Dan gone and that he was a weak player. This enraged a very intoxicated Dan.
Derek (RW: Cancun) & Vinny (Fresh Meat II)
- On Cutthroat, Vinny got offended by Derek's comments about Vinny's ***. Vinny got extremely ****** off and threatened to hit Derek with a ****** bat.
Abram (RR: South Pacific) & Adam (RR: The Quest)
- Abram struck Adam on Road Rules: Viewer's Revenge after Adam did not agree with Abram strategy, this altercation left Tori in tears.
Preston (RW: New Orleans) & Ryan (RW: New Orleans)
- The two never got along on their Real World season. In the first episode Ryan made a comment about gay people which offended Preston, later in the season Ryan rubbed Preston's cigarettes on his *** and Preston ****** on Ryan's toothbrush which ended in Ryan calling the police on Preston.
Brad (RW: San Diego) & Darrell (RR: Campus Crawl)
- Both of these strong player were sent packing on The Ruins when they got into a drunken brawl.
Danny (RW: Austin) & Pete (Fresh Meat II)
- On Fresh Meat II, a drunken Danny stole Pete's food which upset Pete. Danny confronted Pete and the two exchanged words over stolen potatoes.
Frank (RW: San Diego) & Zach (RW: San Diego)
- I couldn't think of a 7th guys team so I chose a team from this new Real World season. I have absolutely no reason for choosing these two, I just did.
Johanna (RW: Austin) & KellyAnne (RW: Sydney)
- On The Island reunion, it was revealed that KellyAnne had begun a relationship with Johanna'***-boyfriend of 3 years, Wes, which seemed to feel uneasy to Johanna. The two met again on The Ruins, where KellyAnne constantly tried to get into the Ruins against Johanna. While in Thailand, the two never got along and had a very tumultuous relationship.
Parisa (RW: Sydney) & Trisha (RW: Sydney)
- The two did not like each other on their Real World season and were fighting over a guy. Trisha was sent home for shoving Parisa. I didn't really watch the Sydney season, so thats all I know.
Diem (Fresh Meat) & Shauvon (RW: Sydney)
- On The Duel 2, CT and Adam got into perhaps the biggest and most intense fight in challenge history, after CT assumed Adam told Diem that CT had *** with Shauvon. Diem showed hatred towards Shauvon later when Shauvon was eliminated, and on the Aftershow, Shauvon did not see eye to eye with Diem and thought Diem was being psycho and irrational. The two don't get along.
Tonya (RW: Chicago) & Veronica (RR: Semester at Sea)
- It started on The Inferno II when Tonya was the butt of Veronica's jokes, she always made fun of her and sent her into the Inferno 2 times, only to be victorious. On The Ruins, Veronica pushed Tonya's buttons to the point where Tonya smacked Veronica across the face and was sent home.
Cara (RR: South Pacific) & Kina (RR: X-Treme)
- BFF's Cara and Susie were thought to be striking a deal with the Veteran team on The Gauntlet 2, their entire team was against them and when it came time for Kina's Gauntlet choice she chose none other than Cara.
Beth (RW: Los Angeles) & Tina (RR: South Pacific)
- The two have hated each other since they met, on The Duel, Tina finally "finished" business by giving Beth the most pathetic punch ever.
Coral (RW: Back to New York) & Trishelle (RW: Las Vegas)
- On Trishelle's only 2 challenges, she was at constant blows with Coral, especially on The Inferno. I don't really remember what transpired for them to argue, but I know they don't like each other.

Agree with everything you said. I hope they never have anyone from that first list on again. I'd be so happy. but add Cara Maria, Ayiiia, BRONNE, Darrell
Honestly I don't think people need to worry about a Ruins challenge any time soon. The concept (Champions vs Challengers) would be too hard to orchestrate from a champions stand point on the female end.
Going over the girls that have actually won challenges (we can even go as far back as Battle of the Seasons): Coral, Kelly, Elka, Cara Z, Rachel R, Sarah G, Veronica, Kendal, Holly, Katie, Christena, Jamie, Ibis, Kina, Jodi, Susie, Aviv, Ev, Tonya, Janelle, Johanna, Jillian, Rachel M, Tori, Carley, and Paula. Try and even pick out 7 girls that would still do a challenge today.
We can take out Kelly, Elka, Sarah G, Kendal, Holly, Christena and Aviv for being out of the public eye for too long.
We can take out Coral, Rachel R, Veronica, Ibis, Kina, Jodi, Tonya, Johanna, and Tori for directly or indirectly stating they are through with doing The Challenge.
We can take out Jamie as just unlikely since she's a successful actress.
That leaves us with Cara Z, Katie, Susie, Ev, Janelle, Jillian, Rachel M, Carley, and Paula.
and then out of that list you only have Ev, Paula, and Katie that you can reliably count on saying yes to appearing. Jillian is likely open to a challenge so long as it doesn't interfere with school, I'm not sure what boat Cara Z, Susie, Janelle, Rachel M, and Carley fall into but basically to even assemble a 7 strong team of female champions you would need the moon and the stars to align.
Before we get another Ruins some of the new crop of girls (Sarah R, Laurel, Cara Maria, Theresa, Mandy, Camilla, Jonna, Jasmine, Emelee, Emily, and hopefully Nany, Cooke, and Naomi) need to win a challenge to even field a champions team.
In other words, it probably won't happen any time soon. Duel 3 or arbitrary team challenge is the way to go as Gauntlet, and Ruins formats just won't work in a capacity that would make for an entertaining show.

Katie just started classes. And she refused the last challenge because of work. If they are going to begin to shoot soon, which is very likely, then Katie won't be able to do it!
Duel 3! Give me some old school girls like Coral, Tonya and Rachel R! And some tough new girls like Emily, Jonna and Nany! And give me some tough girls like Ev, Laurel and Diem!
I wouldnt be opposed to a Ruins 2. I would, however, be opposed to a Cutthroat.
I might be alone on this, but if it was a Duel 3 then I would actually want Evan, Kenny, Johnny, and Tyler there. Tyler has moved from being a horrible player (Duel and Gauntlet 3) to being a strong one in the last two. Evan, Kenny, and Johnny are also strong players, admit it or not. I would want the strongest guys there to see who the best really is. And like some people were saying, in the Duel format, alliances can't really help you cuz the guy going in gets to pick. The only thing that makes JEK unlikeable is the fact that they always make it far by controlling the game. They are entertaining besides that, admit it. They have funny one liners and are good at challenges. I'll be guessing that Johnny would get called out a lot, Kenny might get called out, and maybe even Evan. I mean, he did get called out 3 times before on Duel 2 simply because he was Evan, which might be the case for Johnny and Kenny on Duel 3. I would also want Evan on because he won the Duel 2, and also Wes because he won the Duel. Others I want to see are Derrick, Landon, CT, Leroy, Zach from the new San Diego, CJ given that he threw the exile according to Evelyn, Bronne, Darrell, Abram, Noor, Theo V, Mark, Knight, he who must not be named from Hollywood, Scott, Alton, Frank, David from Viewer's Revenge, Adam L, and any other potentially dominant male just to see who the best really is. Now that would be a very unpredictable challenge, which would be extremely entertaining. I don't really care who's on for the girls since none of them bring anything competitively except for people like Evelyn and Laurel. I want to see Nani though since she's the hottest piece of *** the Real World has seen in a while. Maybe Adam R. too because physical altercations are always fun to watch and can create a buzz when it's shown in the trailer or something. Just my thoughts, sorry for writing so much. I'm just excited xD.
On The Gauntlet, Coral was just jealous of Mike and Trishelle's relationship. That's pretty much it. Mike chose Coral to go into the Gauntlet over Trishelle and that hurt Coral's feelings. On The Inferno, Trishelle was upset over Mike and Kendal and Coral didn't want to hear it cause she screwed over Mike. Then Trishelle threatened to beat Coral's ***, lol.
I hope they cast the girl from Real World New Orleans that played Division 1 basketball. Can't remember her name. Enough with the bimbos. Cast girls that can compete. Seeing Mandi and Jenn mess up everything in the finale was just sad.
^^ Agree with lakersfan
I want some rookies to replace the bad players/fillers like Davis, Tyrie etc. I would like all strong guys and want JEK back because they because they wont be able to use each other as much and I want to see them in some intense eliminations. And Wes because he won the duel I really want to see a Kenny vs Wes elimination and a Laurel vs Evelyn elimination, and hopefully the eliminations are less BS than they were on rivals, I want pole wrestle back or something physical.
Well Veronica said she was done with challenges UNLESS more money was offered for appearing (which probably won't happen).
If there is a Duel 3. Please make it COMPLETELY individual and not have the stupid partner thing like the duel 2. This probably won't happen but I would LOVE it if Emily came back (from Road Rules). She was one of the strongest girls ever.

I think a Ruins 2 would be possible if they had a team of People who have done challenges, and a team of nothing but first timers. I think that would interesting.
I personally think they should have an all female challenge, Duel style. LOL. I'm probably alone in this, but I think it would interesting to see how these people act without the opposite *** there.
How would y'all feel about a challenge that has voting rules similar to a Gauntlet or Inferno, but the teams are picked schoolyard style? I really did like the old formats a lot, but some of the match-ups were just too lopsided. I wouldn't even mind bringing back the Ruins voting format if the teams were something besides "Champions vs. Challengers". I agree with LakersFan that I wouldn't care if a Duel 3 meant bringing back a lot of the same old faces; I want to see the best going up against the best.
V1man, do you think BMP would ever consider allowing the fans more of a say in the challenges? For instance, setting up a poll listing all of the cast members since Season 1 of the Real World, allowing ten picks per ballot and calling up people for the next season in the order of highest votes would be amazing. Even if they can't get all of the top vote-getters to agree, it would at least guarantee that some people that haven't even been considered by producers in a long time might agree to play again (I know who I would vote for and 5/10 haven't been on a challenge since before Fresh Meat 1). Or, I would like to see some of the older, more fun challenges again like Snake Soup or Hang Man or Tree House, and they could set up a vote for that as well.

LOL not that I dont like to see strong females competing but there isnt a lot of Evelyns, Laurels and Rachels and I dont think I can handle a bunch of ******** fights about sweat pants and screaming over name mix ups. As much as some of the guys look like ****** bags on the show, they take the game seriously.
I'm probably in the minority but I'm hoping for a Cutthroat 2. If I were to take a guess I think they'll end up doing a Duel, based on the fact that a lot of past cast members said they would only come back for a Duel.
Yea I really liked cutthroat alot. No way they are doing that though with the ratings they got. I'd bet on a Duel III
Why do people dislike Justin Boothe?
I don't want anything that involves champions vs challengers or rookies vs vets. Why? Because the Veteran team ALWAYS smashes the rookie teams. It's never a competition and that gets extremely boring extremely fast. Hated Gaunlet III and most of the Ruins was wack because of that. There is no fun in seeing one team get their butts handed to them day after day.
At least with Cutthroat the teams have a shot at being even. And with three teams in the mix there is more give and take.
I'd like something with 4 teams even. 4 teams going to war is come crazy challenges. One thing they really need to work on are the challenges themselves. I am SO TIRED of those timed water challenges. We need more head to head physical contest. We also need more mental challenges and endurance challenges. Not to mention the more humorous ones like that bobblehead sled racing thing they did in Duel II.
Hello friends! First post here.
Im just ecstatic that The Challenge is being renewed. I was extremely sad when I found out that Rivals might be the last season.
Seeing as they are going to do another season, Id personally love to see a Ruins 2 or Island 2. I loved the idea of Champions/Challengers to be honest. The Ruins had my favorite cast out of all the seasons (sans Rivals). I loved seeing Kimberly, Brianna, Casey, Kelly Anne, Sarah R, Diem and Shauvon.
I was thinking about what if they made all 28 people going to be on the show do that Obstacle Course that they make all the Fresh Meat Contestants do and then Production evens out the teams?
But eitherway, Cant wait for the next season. I do have a feeling just like everyone else that its probably going to be The Duel 3.

There's an exception with Gauntlet 2. The Rookies were stacked with people like Landon, Alton, Jamie, Randy, and MJ. The Veterans also had good players with Mark, Timmy, Derrick, Brad, Syrus, and Adam L. The teams were really evenly matched. They made a mistake on Gauntlet 3 by stacking the Veterans team. I mean they put Evan and CT on the same team against a team with people like Alex, Ryan, and Tyrie, and nobody on the Veterans team completely sucked aside from Casey. If they organized it a little better it would have at least been a little more competitive. As for the Ruins, I honestly think that it could have been slightly more even if they got non-winners like CT to be on the team, but of course it was after the whole Adam incident so that was out of the question. They also had 2 of the worst females in challenge history in Shauvon and Casey on the Challengers, while the Champions had fairly good females, including Evelyn and Susie. If Casey and Shauvon weren't chosen, which is realistic since there's a whole bunch of other girls they could have picked, the challengers could have won more. Those 2 were the ones who fell on the first challenge, if they didn't fall then Wes would have successfully threw it. And Casey also lost them that water bridge challenge when they were in the lead, and sucked for the rest of the season only to get eliminated at the end. So whoever is the casting director made an extremely dumb move in my opinion, making those 2 seasons too boring to want to watch.
As for the fun challenges you mentioned, I agree. I also want gross challenges like that Ice Cream challenge on Gauntlet or that eating challenge on Battle of the Sexes 2. And I don't know about you, but I think they need to tone the Final Challenges down a little bit. It's too **** harsh now with somebody always getting sick at some point.
EDIT: and also on the Ruins and Gauntlet 3, if a certain team greatly outnumbers another and the challenge involves something like overall strength or having advantage with more people, I think that some players should sit out to make the teams even in terms of numbers like in Survivor. If they did that, the Rookies on Gauntlet 3 and Challengers on Ruins would have had a better chance. I remember a challenge on Gauntlet 3 where the teams had to push the other team out with a giant pole. I believe the Rookies had Frank, MJ, Ryan, and Nehemiah while the Veterans pretty much had a full roster. No matter how strong you are, you will not win in a challenge like that if the other side outnumbers you by double. It's ridiculous.
Wow! great news obviously but I had really tempered my expectations and thought that rivals was the last challenge I was ever going to see
With that being said, I would love to see JEK and their alliance members, CT, Landon, somehow get Mark and Abram and throw everyone for a loop by announcing the duel 3 for the next challenge. That way, the significance of alliances would be severely undermined and we'd possibly be able to see some powerhouses duke it out in a 1 on 1 elimination
I'm pretty sure we can say see ya to the titles Inferno and Gauntlet. What's done is DONE!

I predict:
-CT and Adam will be there (good for ratings/entertainment)
To be quite honest, The only entertainment they could give would be if CT beat the **** out of Adam a la Duel II. The whole time in Rivals, Almost everytime they showed the two together, CT was always like "Will you say Im your friend now?".
If they were to do another challenge, I think they should try asking some of the older (somewhat) players to come back (like, Kelly Anne, Diem, Kimberly, Brianna, Derek, Cohutta, Etc). Im sick of seeing Kenny/Evan/Johnny/Wes.
I definitely don't want to see a Ruins. That was one of the worst formats ever IMO. I have a hard time seeing a Ruins 2 play out any different from the first one. (with members of the major alliance never seeing an elimination round)
I wish they could have a Duel/Cutthroat/BigBrother/Survivor Season. Something where you have to be able to play the game physically, mentally, socially but yet the season is very surprising. I think it would be interesting to have Abram/CT/Wes on a challenge together because I saw a video of CT saying he would fight Abram and how Abram is a punk or something and I wanna see how Abram would react to Wes' bullying of Cara Marie not to mention they're all good competitors. I say you could put Wes/Kenny back on but NO OTHERS No Tyler/Johnny/Evan/.
Cohutta would be different but refreshing to see on. And ofcourse I want to see Kellyanne on she's strong but still can bring drama. I'd like to see Parisa, Trisha, Greg, or even Joey(Hollywood) on! I doubt Joey could be able to go on but it would be interesting if he did. Another good dynamic would be to have a Diem/Laurel/CT triangle. If it IS the Duel 3 they need to have Noor(FM2) and Scott(Brooklyn) on, not have someone like RyanK., or Ryan(NO).
If this infact the last challenge I want MTV to go all out on it. Go a lot of different places like Rivals did. Like have 30 or however many people in a house then when it gets down to a certain number ship em off into the wilderness like The Island. It might be cool to see a Redemption Island type thing in the challenge it would be a big bite in the *** to some people.
So many good ideas I really hope MTV doesn't waste this season.
