I use to like Evan just as a competitor before the Ruins, and they must apologize for what they did but Where is the other side of the story, and why some of the castmembers of the Ruins get along with them or say that they are good guys outside of the show i don't get it, for example Katie said that in 2 interviews after the Ruins and Cutthroat, i have seen´pictures of Evan, Kenny and Wes hanging out after Fresh meat 2, Johanna has become very close to Evan and his girlfriend, i saw some pictures of them hanging out with Kellyanne after the Ruins, Evan was in Brad's wedding, it's very odd to me be associated with them after what went down in Thailand.
Things didn't come to people's attention, except for a very small, select group of cast members, until well into 2010 and beyond. I know for a fact that some of those you named would not be supportive today, otherwise they would not be my friends.

Thanks for posting this. It's an excellent summary of the early court filings.
I just don't see how anyone could defend this. I don't want to hear "Oh she was drunk." Or "Oh, it's just Tonya." I'm not saying she is the most sane person on the show, or she isn't a drunk mess some of the time, but no one deserves to be sexually assaulted. That's absolutely disgusting and anyone who defends them is disgusting as well. You can't seperate people's "character" on the challenge from their "real personality" off the show. Sure it wasn't shown on tv, but you now know what happened. You can like parts of Evan or Kenny. Sure, they are funny sometimes, but they are really disgusting human beings for doing that to someone, especially if they are passed out.
And don't get me started on BMP. Mary Ellis Bunim is probably rolling in her grave. Deplorable.
but people are still liking them after what they did like you and thats a problem if you ask me
Well since it's me that likes him it's not really your problem.
I've been thinking about the whole "people who like Evan and Kenny" thing and whether it's "bad".
The only thing I can compare it to is my hatred for Michael Vick (from the Philadelphia Eagles) because of the disgusting animal cruelty crimes he committed. He might be a good football player (I don't know, because I don't watch him), but even if he is, I will never respect him or any team that continues to take him on as their QB.
I personally don't feel an intense dislike for Kenny and Evan, and I suppose that's because strong proof about Tonya's claims haven't been shown to me. But in all likelihood, it sounds as if the incident did take place, and that has definitely changed the way I think about them for the worse. If I knew more about the situation, I would probably put them in the Michael Vick file.

Vick was convicted of a crime though--Kenny & Evan weren't. To me, the better comparison is Big Ben. He, like Kenny & Evan, are alleged rapists that I believe committed the crime. I don't blame the Steelers at all for still employing him just like I don't blame BMP for bringing Kenny & Evan back for Rivals

That is why I said that perhaps the distinction between my feelings towards Kenny&Evan and Vick are based on the hard evidence in the former case and the seeming lack of hard evidence in the latter.
Also, I have not followed the Ben case.

I'm sorry, I should have switched it to "Vick and then Kenny&Evan" so that my point was more clear.
Either way, I feel that I explained myself sufficiently in the very first post. :P

I'm pretty sure Vick was convicted of holding the event, not running the event if you know what I mean.
Really? I didn't know that, honestly. Either way, I still think having any part in it was despicable. I can never respect that. :(
I would just like to add this:
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
That is why I cannot respect Michael Vick whether he was the one actually killing and fighting the dogs against each other, or just holding some kind of sick, twisted venue for it to take place. Either way, it was wrong, in my eyes.
But, I suppose this whole conversation seems to have veered off course a lot. If anyone is wondering why we are now discussing Vick and his penchant for killing animals, it is because we were speaking about Favorite Players -> Kenny&Evan -> Tonya's Sexual Assault Allegations/Suit -> The difference between conviction based on evidence, and lack of hard evidence. TA DA! It's been a long journey. :P
Now I suppose we can all get back to merely posting the names of our favorite cast members. :)
my favorite players for the girls have to be emily, rachel, and ev they are just strong and people are afraid to go against them because they know they will probably lose.....for the guys mark, derrick,ct,wes, and landon.....they are also people who are strong and nobody wants to go against.
