I know what he did but he's still my favorite competitor.
I know what he did but he's still my favorite competitor.
And so for me this is how you will now be known, and my interaction with you now ceases. You might as well endorse pedophilia, too.
And so for me this is how you will now be known, and my interaction with you now ceases. You might as well endorse pedophilia, too.
Was he charged/convicted of anything? Didn't think so.
And so for me this is how you will now be known, and my interaction with you now ceases. You might as well endorse pedophilia, too.
Pretty sure you're the only one on here that feels that way.
Was he charged/convicted of anything? Didn't think so.
Well, kind of difficult to do that in Thailand, isn't it? If I were you, I wouldn't so easily demonstrate my ignorance of legal matters.
Pretty sure you're the only one on here that feels that way.
Given the number of people from who I have received PMs on this subject, I think not.
Yeah but no one is gonna look at Fullback different or think he might as well endorse pedophilia. That's his favorite player on camera not who he thinks is the most wholesome off camera. I like Evan and I don't know him personally so I only like him for what he's done on camera.

It's like saying that you liked Hitler's childish paintings but you knew he was an evil person. It's an all or nothing game for me.
i kind of see where are you coming from but what he did is unforgiven Period.
Well then there's no reason to try an alter someone's opinions. You have yours I have mine and if I like Evan for what he was on camera that's my opinion. Yeah what he did was wrong but I still like him.
you are saying you like him for what he did... wow people these days... its like saying you like a criminal for killing someone
you are saying you like him for what he did... wow people these days... its like saying you like a criminal for killing someone
You didn't comprehend what I said. I said I like Evan for what he was ON camera. Then I said I know what he did was wrong but at the end of the day I still like him again for what he was ON camera. Let me know if you got it this time.

Or maybe it was because the accuser was a bit of a drunken lunatic and made her accusations years after the fact. Is there any actual proof that Evan did what you obviously believe he did?

While the settlement is sealed, you can read for yourself the many public court documents in the case that are filed in the public record of the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. I also can't discuss the facts of the case: documents (including video) submitted into evidence, or the depositions. If I could, the answer would be obvious. There is a decent "Cliff Notes" version of things at MTV Settles Rape Lawsuit With Real World Alum After Implying She Asked for It if you are not inclined to pay to read the court filings.
v1man, you know my opinion but people can come to their own conclusions. You know as well as anyone that a settlement in a civil suit doesn't determine guilt. If people want to like Evan they can--even if they only see him as a character on the show instead of a real person

Is that in question? I'm simply outlining the boundaries of my future interaction with people here. Others are free to do what they will, but I will judge them for the choices they make, as is my right. Obviously, I do know more "factually" than I can say since I was involved in the case. Perhaps someday I will be able to share more with you, but I believe there was incontrovertible evidence to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt in a criminal proceeding, had there been one (and it was considered).

Right now, the general public only has the information available to them and a settlement in a civil case is pretty much meaningless when determining guilt. You're close (maybe too close) to the situation so you take some things personally (which is understandable) but you kind of need to look at some things with an outside perspective when "judging" people. If they knew what you knew they likely would have a different opinion but they don't.

By PM if you wish.

Like when he constantly harassed Tonya ON camera? When he pulled girls tops off on challenges then threw them in the pool? When he flirted with Veronica on The Ruins then went to the interviews/confessionals and talked **** about her?
They should be banned from this fórum too.
I really don't care my opinion is my opinion and your opinion is your opinion, I don't agree with what he did but, he is still my favorite competitor and I would love to see him on another challenge haha.
Courthouse News Service
I use to like Evan just as a competitor before the Ruins, and they must apologize for what they did but Where is the other side of the story, and why some of the castmembers of the Ruins get along with them or say that they are good guys outside of the show i don't get it, for example Katie said that in 2 interviews after the Ruins and Cutthroat, i have seen´pictures of Evan, Kenny and Wes hanging out after Fresh meat 2, Johanna has become very close to Evan and his girlfriend, i saw some pictures of them hanging out with Kellyanne after the Ruins, Evan was in Brad's wedding, it's very odd to me be associated with them after what went down in Thailand.
