Coral quit because they threw a challenge to try to get rid of her--completely different Eric gets no credit for costing his team multiple missions then quitting when things got tough.
I don't care why she quit, she still did. Easy competed and then quit. I'm not discussing this anymore because I don't care.
I sort of missed the part kind of when Trishelle said she wasn't competing in the challenge...I heard it had to do with dehydration, but come on! This challenge was ANYTHING but physical...
I understood both Eric and Camila. If i were Eric, no way would I want to stick around with Camila (or anyone on his team) who were giving him so much crap. And if I were Camila, I'd be pissed that I have to go home because my partner decided to quit on me. However, with that said, Camila just went ape**** crazy and IMO isn't justified to go all loony like that just because Eric quit. AND on the other end of it going back to Eric, he also deserves to get at least some crap from his team considering he displayed an absolutely pathetic showing this challenge. So basically they both have a right to be angry, but what happened in that Arena perfectly displays exactly why one can't work with the other. Camila because she has a lousy quitter saddled to her as a teammate and Eric because he's partnered with a lunatic.

Camila was (maybe for the first time ever) cool, calm & collective. She was supportive. Eric needed to dig deep--he didn't. He can be angry that Camila attacked him but he created it based on his actions
Is there no mechanism on vevmo for me to block people? Juuuust wondering. As far as Trishelle being dehydrated: agree with everyone who says that's ridiculous. I'm a nurse and I can tell you two things for sure: 1. There's no way to diagnose her with dehydration so severe that she couldn't compete unless she was displaying outward signs of severe dehydration (she wasn't) or they drew blood and ran a BMP real quick and saw that her electrolytes were totally screwed up (doubt this happened). 2. They could've easily given her a couple liters of IV fluids and she wouldn't have been dehydrated anymore, at least temporarily (long enough to finish the challenge). They could've thrown in some IV Zofran or something too to keep her from throwing up up there. It would've been totally doable to give at least a couple liters of IV fluids while the mission was going on and have her be the 4th person up there for her team, so she could've spent the majority of the mission in the shaded ambulance getting fluids. Just sayin. Her not competing because of dehydration was some weak sauce.

But I think in general Camila has been pretty volatile this whole season. Eric especially just seems annoyed by her most of the time and you can tell that he doesn't really like that kind of constant "support" that she spews out. I put in quotes because honestly, I get the impression that Camila isn't so much actually trying to support Eric as she is saying things that she thinks he needs to hear in order to do better so that SHE can do better. Like when she says "You can do this!", she essentially means "You HAVE to do this so that I can keep competing!" That's how I see her. I may be biased because quite frankly she bugs me, but that's the impression she kind of gives me.

Camila was definitely only being "supportive" because she needed Eric at that time.
This showed me why Camilla and Johnny were such a good team. They both work the same way. Camillas support to Eric is exactly the same as johnny screaming at Camilla in the final. But that worked for them, this only pushed Eric to quit. Can I blame Eric for quitting? No. He had no chance of winning the final and why would he fight for Camilla to win against Devyn? Can I blame Camilla for freaking out? No. Her loss was not her loss. If Johnny was her partner they would have won. But she had the opposite in quality of a partner. I understand her frustration. Did she go to far? I have a competitive spirit and I don't think I'll ever understand getting that upset. I'm glad they went home. I hope she sees herself and has an attitude check if she comes back. However I refrain from judging her too much, not being in her situation I can't know her frustrations. Rooting for brooklyn right now, they work well together and they're more fun to watch. I'm surprised by this team. Didn't think they'd do well, but...they're doing good. If a nurse tells me that Trishelle could compete I'm inclined to believe them, but I do want to point out cuttthroat. Where abe and I think Sarah were vommitting non stop due to dehydration and an ambulance came and took them out. Is sitting in a chair really that hard? No, which is perhaps why I'm inclined to believe she just didn't want to embarrass herself, because she figured she wouldn't get the questions right. Frank kind of did this for his team. Good for him. Glad to see Nola weakened. I loathe that team. Fresh meat and half of Nola gone in one episode. Yay : ) St. Thomas has been safe thus far but they're hanging on a thread, they need a win within the next couple of challenges or they're done. Unless the big teams pull some power moves and St. Thomas just scoots under the wire the whole season. lol. That would be funny.
I hate the way Dustin sits during his interviews/confessionals. I don't know how to explain it - or why I dislike it so much. I think Brooklyn deserved to win that arena. Devyn needs to be on every challenge from now on. She is the most entertaining cast member. That challenge makes me sad - 21 continents, Ashley? Liverpool, UK??? WHY?!?! ALSO - I think this is the first time I've heard JD speak on a challenge.
Just so everybody knows (I saw a few posts pertaining to the subject), there are more than a few castmembers who acknowledged the fact that Alton receives a very good edit on the shows. Zach, Frank, Trishelle, Cara Maria, Brandon, Devyn, and a few others have all chimed in on the fact that Alton is not what he seems on tv. When the question was raised to Cara Maria, her response was "alton? they are giving him a good edit. you have no idea the **** that went down in that house that they completely edited out.." Notes on the episode.. -My dislike for Eric shot through the roof after that elimination. I have never liked him, or respected him as a competitor, and this season backed everything I thought up 100%. He has no place on these challenges. I never really liked Camila, but she grew on me this challenge. She supported Eric in the challenges as well as in the elimination, and he didn't want any part of that. I don't blame her at all for going off on Eric and to be honest, if I was Devyn, there's no possible way I could kiss someone after they put on that type of show. -I felt so bad for McKenzie. I didn't watch the entire NOLA season, but I loved her on the challenge. I like Jemmye as well, but I felt so bad for McKenzie because she is so cute and she seemed like her heart was really in the game. Really hope she comes back. -I respect Cancun as the strongest mental, physical, and political team on this challenge. Out of all the rookies on this challenge, I feel like Jonna, CJ, and Derek could easily mesh with "real" Veterans (i.e. CT, Derrick, Jenn, Evelyn, etc.). I truly feel Jonna is not only the strongest female in the house, but also the smartest mentally. -I've always disliked Chet and Sarah isn't my favorite castmember, but I respect Brooklyn for their Arena wins. -I wish there were more eliminations outside of the four on this challenge. I like how they did it on the Infernos and the Ruins and there was a different elimination each time. I really like how you can only use one type before the rotation starts over, and I like that the power team can choose which type of game is played, but more games would be more fun to watch IMO and I think the games should've been better designated.
Did anyone notice Devyn was wearing heels (with her team uniform) during the arena this episode?! I love this girl... :D
The sneek peak is up for next week. Frank trying to get Alton to punch him. Im betting that's also why he and Zach bring up Dustin's past. They see Las Vegas as a threat and want to start fights with them to get them to hit them and send them home.

I do have the feeling Frank really is the clear leader of the San diego team. Zach doesn't seem smart enough to do any of the scheming or politics, and there hasn't been any missions where they have had to try to win that hasn't been set up where zach woudl be useful. I hope he shows more or how good he can be in an actual athletic competition, but there really hasn't been many chances to so far. He just doesn't seem to come off as the ultra competitive person i thought he woudl be. I know it was a trivia game but he seemed to not even care he didn't have to compete

His answers seemed straight forward and humorless. Perhaps he was afraid to be dropped into the water? If it was me I would have tried to make it fun. That's what TJ was doing and it was funny! :)
Are people really dissing Alton, do you realize that Alton season was how many years ago, along with the Gauntlet 1 his first challenge, (I believe). People mature and grow up. Alton, is a guy who has never once started a fight and has never been apart of any of the bs of these games. He is in the top 5 of greatest challenge competitors and could probably destroy Frank, with a hand behind his back. Frank, and Zach in my opinion are coming off as bullies. Knight's comments are strategic, (though stupid) and not right. Frank and Zach are just bullies who need to be put in their place.

I guess we will have to see what happens in the upcoming weeks. I know I saw Alton in a couple of fights in the trailer.
Regarding Alton, I have heard he's genuinely a good person but has a lot of demons. While he does his best to try to stay grounded and positive, he can't always keep it together and loses it in an ugly way. There's no reasoning with him until he is over his implosion/explosions. Given what happened to his brother, the circumstances under which it happened, and how long it took for the person to be convicted, I can see this. I'm not going deep into this psychologically but Alton is one of the very few people I can cut some slack. He has overcome some pretty brutal emotional and psychological upheaval that was out of his control. Do I think he's perfect? Far from it. But his intentions are good, even if the behavior isn't always. People seem to forget that none of these contestants are perfect nor are they "good" or "bad". They are human. Their personalities, backgrounds, political views, expressions, etc. are all carefully viewed and edited and aired to best fit a storyline, character, etc. And too many viewers then make sweeping generalizations about these people (He's good! She's bad! He's homophobic! She's a druggie!) Maybe that's part of their person, but it's not who they are. If I made generalizations about some members here based on just what they post, I'd weep for society.
I don't want to get off-topic so whoever responds to this can just keep it brief...but what happened to Alton's brother? Was this before/after he was cast on Real World? I didn't watch the show when his season aired so I'm lost here because this isn't the first time somebody's brought his brother up.
In regards to Alton being "Fake". Getting a good edit/ bad edit is completely different than being fake. I can understand him being out of line sometimes, I never said that he wasn't. I have watched him on all of his challenges and seen his original season, and the reunited Vegas season, and I can see where people get it from. But I don't think he's "fake". Its not like hes editing the show himself. Sarah at times (not on this challenge) reminds me of someone who can be fake (did anyone watch Brooklyn?). I think Alton is a good guy, good or bad edit. Everyone on these things has their good and bad sides. We are seeing them an hr every week, out of their environment, confined in a house with people they don't like fighting for money. I want Brooklyn and Vegas to come out on top because IMO, they are good teams and playing a more honest game then the rest. Despite my annoyance with the entire Cancun cast, I think they are a decent team. However, CJ and Derek bore the **** out of me, and have no personality, I couldn't get into them during their season and I can't now. I despise everything about San Diego 2.0. Frank and Zach are quite full of themselves, especially on twitter. Didn't like Ashley on her season and Sam is non factor. I won't even get into NOLA but can somebody please explain to me why Knight and Jemmeye walk around like their CT and Ev?
I think we have a new generation of viewers. In what world does Alton seem fake? LOL, what has happened to vevmo? Where are my oldheads???
Agreed, TJ! I feel as if most of the people here are rooting for the newer teams. I'm all for Brooklyn and Vegas this season. The newer teams as a whole aren't my cup of tea.
Seriously Trishelle--just lost respect for her that she couldn't sit on a chair
Coming from someone who has been severly dehydrated before, it's really hard to do anything when you are. I barely wanted to move, let alone walk. It takes quite a few minutes for you to even tell that it's coming on and then all of a sudden you're on the ground. I don't think Trishelle wanted to sit out the Challenge at all. I just think she was physically unable to actually do anything.
I'm sorry--everything Camila said about Eric was fair. He better never come back.
I think Camila had every right to be pissed off at Easy, however, I don't think she had the right to personally attack him.
Overall, I actually think it's a decent season that isn't getting enough credit. I'd like to see more of the older Challengers, but I can deal with the ones we have here. I think this show would be better off moving to a different night. I personally the Monday timeslot would work best for them.

As with Survivor, the medic makes the call on whether or not one can compete. In the early days of reality TV, producers occasionally overruled the medical pros. The insurance underwriters and company attorneys now see the liability in allowing someone other than the professionals to make such decisions. Trishelle's recap of what happened to her was recorded later. It was not in the moment. I suspect this was a "catch-up" interview that after-the-fact production realized they needed to show why Trishelle was not participating. There is no suggestion of the time frame during which Trishelle had been throwing up. There was nothing in the video of behavior of the cast that would suggest they thought anything was wrong, and I've not seen any cast twitter commentary which calls the events into question. Finally, from my rather outdated military field medical training, I recall that body temperature, heart rate and blood pressure are also important factors in determining a patient's future activity level in addition to your points above.
I feel TERRIBLE for Camila. Eric ALWAYS has and ALWAYS will come up with excuses. When he falls “they were going too fast”, now this “isn’t ******* healthy”. Just like Camila said, once a quitter, always a quitter. He’s one of the worst teammates ever. I wonder how Camila and Brandon would’ve competed in this. Ok, that’s really weird, but I think TJ was very attractive during the challenge *don’t hit me* Damn, Frank is smart and cultured, good for him, I like that. But he says he didn’t really watch the challenges… I doubt that; knowing where the Island was filmed is very specific. Liar liar, pants on fire! 21 continents, Ashley? Dumb broad lol. I still like her though. I’m happy about the outcome of the second elimination round, I’m definitely rooting for Brooklyn. Preston impressed me during this whole challenge though, he's really not that bad! He needs to be more confident.
Like, camila threatened to quit the episode before and said she was goig home.
So what? The point is she didn't quit.
Well Knight, FM was filmed on a country/continent, so even though she was wrong, a continent was the correct choice.
Well, TJ specifically said "in which country", so McKenzie saying Europe means she thinks Europe is a country.
"Grab as many balls as I possibly can, pun intended"
Haha quote of the episode! That and Chet's "I know how to spell whiny *****: F-r-a-n-k". Not original, but still funny.
Aaaww Ashley you should make out with McKenzie to make here feel better... :(
Lolwut
He beat Preston thats not saying much lol. It does appear to me that Alton has a good heart and good intentions most of the time. He does seem to have a mellow vibe for the most part. Even with the flawed moments we have seen from him, I get a better impression of him overall compared to many of the guys who do these shows. And I do believe that no one is 100% just like their edit all of the time.
In regards to Alton being "Fake". I can understand some of the cast being upset if they feel someone is behaving badly and that behavior is not shown on the air, while their bad behavior usually is. But I sometimes have to take some of the comments of some of these people - the newer people especially - with a grain of salt. I think some of the cast members want things both ways - they want to be as foul as they want to, but they want to be seen as the good person as well. For example, Wes. There were comments during and after this challenge made by him and his teammates about how he's not really so bad (something like that). I found that quite interesting. Yes, I do believe there are good sides to him - we've seen them occasionally. Yet he loves to make all of these big comments about people and talk down about them and talk himself up. He loves to cause a ruckus, but doesn't seem to really want that to be how people view him overall. At least, that is the impression I got of him from this season.
Agreed, TJ! I feel as if most of the people here are rooting for the newer teams. I'm all for Brooklyn and Vegas this season. I just think the upcoming missions need not be so easy for the alliance to manipulate. Because when they are, the teams on the outs don't have a way to win. I wished the challenges were back on Mondays for a while now. At least since Laguna Beach and The Hills ended. I don't know what shows it would be up against on Mondays, but I just miss the challenges being on then.
Completely agree with everyone here. I'll always cheer for the older seasons (although I would still vote for Vegas if Trishelle and Alton were replacaed with the newer vegas cast, because that season reminded me of the older ones) but I still think this is a decent challenge. Way better than rival, exes, and cutthroat. I just don't like teams like how the newer teams are making a mockery of things. At least when the older vets threw challenges, it was toward the end of the season and not the first three episodes. And I love how frank posted on twitter, "you guys would do it too if you had the numbers." No because the three castmembers who shall not be named always had the numbers and they weren't always throwing challenges.

Frank is showing more though in the missions so far than Zach which is suprising. Even if they pull it off, but don't actually compete in these missions, sure it is money, but won't gain much challenge respect from me. But they don't care it's money, I am just saying it's not impressive at all so far. Most of the past big alliances ex: JEK, they all would try their best, and have it where one of us just has to win, and we will throw so and so in. So who they threw in never changed, they just need any team of the alliance to win. They all tried hard is my point on the missions. Rivals is a perfect example except for Evan and his idiotic plan on Rivals but that's exception. I want to see what these new kids can do so hopefuly the upcoming challenges are more physical and they actually compete. This season alliance, it seems their is little competition and pre determined winners. That is the only reason i liked the trivia challenge, it made it at least a chance anyone could take it. I would feel bad for Camilla( or anyone in that situation), but her behavior is too hard to take where i am glad she is gone. The whole " you guys don't deserve to be here" when looking how she came on to the show, as well as her rampages she has been averaging 2 per season lately. The one with Brandon she was acting the next day like he was being crazy when she was the one who was causing it, she clearly doens't realize how she acts and is. I just can't find redeeming qualities to root for. Eric should not compete again in these. I see why he would want to in order to get paid to appear, but i would bet very few people want him there at this point. He is almost an automatic that you will not win if you are on his team. He probably is proud of this challenge for beating Wes, but in reality he quit when things got hard, much like he has done other times. He is just a frontrunner. On D1 he won an early challenge and is a big guy so no one called him out, when he actually had to compete, brad beat him in x battle of all eliminations or whatever it was called at the time. On g3, he avoided all eliminations and talked a big game, and we all know result. Here he had the whole "i am a new man" thing going had a sizeable advantage over Wes so he won(aka a frontrunner does) but when it wasn't going to be easy in this elimination, he resorted back to the old self. That's who he is, times get tough in challenges, he doesn't want to push himself.
