That's pretty much what an inference is. It's an educated guess.
Then again the first part is going by the people in here saying Dustin and Nany go into the next one, which I have no idea where they got that.
Sorry. Misread that as "interference."

Why are you thinking Trey quits? The person I was referring to quitting already quit.

Tvguide is saying Alton asks to be sent to the Arena next week
Why are you thinking Trey quits? The person I was referring to quitting already quit.
Because you said someone quit and Trey mentioned he would leave if it wasn't for Laura, so he was a good guess. Big Easy "quit" because of the physical discomfort of the elimination, kinda like Chet and Devyn "quit" the rocks challenge because they wanted to conserve energy. When you said someone quits, we were probably thinking someone gets fed up and just leaves the challenge.

I mean, he did. He got fed up, and he left the challenge. They didn't lose because JD and Devyn beat them. They lost because he quit.
When I said that someone quit, I was talking about Eric.

That's a horrible comparison. Chet & Devyn knowing they were being targeted and were going to get sent into the elimination round regardless of how much they fought for it isn't even close to what Eric did. Eric decided to go home--he wasn't willing to fight to stay. When Chet & Devyn dropped the stones they knew they'd have a chance to stay--Eric knew his game was over.
Thankfully Trey doesn't quit. I think he's someone MTV would like to bring back (even though I don't like him) and those people that quit should never be invited back.
I have been very underwhelmed by Zach. He looks to me like he is going to be the next MJ. To me it looks like Frank will end up being better at the Challenge than Zach.
I feel like he hasn't been given an opportunity to showcase his abilities. The 1st challenge he performed fantastic even with a huge weight disparity between his weight and Frank's. The 2nd one he did alright, but it was mostly a joke of a challenge. The 3rd was a team challenge where you're only as fast as your weakest link. The 4th when he said "it would be easier to do this alone", he was completely right. Eric's stance in that challenge is proof of that. And then the last one should be obvious.
For anyone that didn't know:
Trey revealed on afterbuzz podcast that the elimination was so discomfortable they had to stop due to JD and Eric. They gave them a break and had them start over from where they were left off.
No I am not using this to justify why Eric quit.

If that's the case then what explains the fact that 11 teams of 2 have gone home? I don't see what would lead them to doing 11 eliminations and you've already stated that there is no twist to send home a full team.

Because they needed enough eliminations so that only 3 teams competed in the finals
Because they needed enough eliminations so that only 3 teams competed in the finals
Technically they only need 10 eliminations for that. There are two teams of 4 and one team of 2 in the finals.
And really, there could have been as many as five teams of 2 making it to the finals. That would have been interesting.

Nothing explains it. Your guess is as good as mine.

Should get good around episode 9/10 where it looks like the power team comes from the other side.

But after 10 eliminations 4 teams remained.
I could have sworn TJ said only the final 3 teams would compete in the finals

He just listed prize money.
Unless you mean at the end they just start sending home multiple teams until they reach 3.
I am starting to think the scene in the trailer with Marie freaking the **** out at Derek, isn't going to air -unfortunately. Jemmye is seen of to the side, so unless a fight like that erupts next episode then it won't happen. It already looks like there is drama elsewhere that will be occurring.

You know more then me -- so did he go into the elimination planning to throw it? Because the way it was edited made it look like he quit because of pain.
I'm curious to see who Trey and Laura get eliminated by because both of them seem pretty athletic.
I expect Dustin to be in that arena since Heather said something about it on twitter.
I expect Dustin to be in that arena since Heather said something about it on twitter.
O yeah I remember seeing that. So they probably got taken out by two other good players in Dustin and Trishelle

I am confused to why Nany goes in two times in a row and not Trishelle. I really want to see Trishelle kick *** because I know she is super strong at these challenges. I hope instead of Nany going in this week it's Trishelle, since everyone had such a huge problem with her sitting out over something she couldn't control.. :/... so she can show she's strong.
TEAM TRISHELLE <3
I think starting in this next one Vegas will become the new Brooklyn. Based on the preview it looks like Alton throws himself in. So I'd guess it goes:
Alton/Someone beat Knight/Jemmye
Dustin/Someone beat Trey/Laura (I want to guess it's the physical one since Heather said Dustin embarrassed Trey. It's tough to really EMBARRASS someone in strategy or mental).
Robb/Marie beat Alton/Nany
Dustin/Trishelle beat Robb/Marie
And molds said San Diego goes in at some point so I'd guess Dustin/Trishelle beat a set of Cancun people and San Diego gets the other set.

Ok so it looks like Knight/Jemmye lose in strategy because they didn't want to go in against Las Vegas in Hall Brawl.
Then Dustin/Trishelle beat Trey/Laura in Physical, based on Heather's twitter (what did she say?).
Robb/Marie beat Alton/Nany on the Mental Challenge because that's the only one left.
Robb/Marie choose mental because they just won that challenge and think they have the advantage but end up losing to Dustin/Trishelle.
...And then whichever team gets last in the mission before the final gets sent straight home.

I pray that's untrue because that's just ridiculous

That's not true. Jonna and Derek definitely lose to someone.

So you're assuming that Brooklyn gets a free ride to the final not seeing not one of the six eliminations left (well the two that are left after Robb and Marie leave)?
So you're assuming that Brooklyn gets a free ride to the final not seeing not one of the six eliminations left (well the two that are left after Robb and Marie leave)?
Well I think that we've been told that Robb/Marie beat Alton/Nany and then lose to Dustin/Trishelle and from the preview it looks like Alton wants to go in this week. So I guess the only one I'm just making a guess on is the Dustin/Trey one...but Heather said something on twitter that pointed to that.
I guess the short answer is yes. I think that what happens between San Diego/Vegas is gonna be a big enough issue that any time San Diego or Cancun win they'll throw Vegas in.
Since everyone else has tried to guess on who eliminates people I'll take a shot as well...
Jemmye & Knight lose to Alton & Nany (Strategy)
Trey & Laura lose to Chet & Sarah (Mental)
Nany & Alton (no volunteers) lose to Marie & Robb (Physical)
Marie & Robb lose to Trishelle & Dustin (Mental)
Jasmine & CJ lose to Zach & Sam (Strategy)
Jonna & Derek lose to Trishelle & Dustin (Endurance)
Cancun team will have so much egg on their face to have made it so far, actually performing well as a team, aligning themselves with evil and then get screwed in the end. Cancun individually even has a lot of potential.
Would have been great to see Vegas v. Cancun v. Brooklyn in the final. That meant likable winners.
So you're assuming that Brooklyn gets a free ride to the final not seeing not one of the six eliminations left (well the two that are left after Robb and Marie leave)?
Brooklyn probably doesn't go in again. Because if you look at the remaining challenges and eliminations, it makes sense:
Knight/Jemmye by Alton/Nany? (this is what I've heard)
Trey/Laura by Dustin/Trishelle
Alton/Nany by Robb/Marie
Robb/Marie by Dustin/Trishelle
CJ/Jasmine by Someone
Derek/Jonna by Someone
The only two elimination rounds that we aren't sure who goes in are the last two, which molds said San Diego goes in at some point. Las Vegas is now the mob's public enemy number 1, so if San Diego or Cancun win anymore challenges which I'm sure they win the next 4 (because Las Vegas is in the next 4 eliminations), because I don't see Las Vegas getting last in any of the missions left.
